LYRICS
There is no love
No love
I am a duplication, innocently
I was conceived so violently
There was no love
There was no love for me
There was only hatred
I am rape
I am hate
I am rape
I am hate
Every day I feel anonymous hate
Forever in the shadow of disgrace
I am rape
I am hate
I am rape
I am hate
Filled with pain
Bruised and darkened soul
Spare me from the
Life that's full of misery
I don't want to live that way
I don't want to live that way
There is no love
Huh!
Every day I feel anonymous hate
Forever in the shadow of disgrace
I am rape
I am hate
I am rape
I am hate
Filled with pain
Bruised and darkened soul
Spare me from the
Life that's full of misery
I am so filled with pain
Bruised and darkened soul
Spare me from the
Life that's full of misery
I don't want to live that way
I don't want to live that way
I don't want to live that way
I don't want to live that way
I am so filled with pain
Bruised and darkened soul
Spare me from the
Life that's full of misery
Spare me from the
Life that's full of pain
Spare me from the
Life that's full of pain
I don't want to live that way
I don't want to live that way
I don't want to live that way

This is one of the most important metal albums of the 90's. Wish more people recognized it.
And I got see them perform it in full in 2013 XD
Same at the roundhouse in Sydney
Metallizombie Can you please explain to me why do you consider this album as one of the most important in the 90's?
And the most important metal album of the 90s 0is Demanufacture ..atleast for me :)
RodneyBass74 oh yissssssss
This was ahead of it's time. Absolutely sick
my mate burnt me a cd for my diskman in highschool and that was the first time i heard FF been a fan ever since love em
Correct bro!!!
Not way ahead of it's time. Metal was far better back then. What's being realised these days is a load of shite.
2000 % Man
Was not. It was that times metal.
Burton, you are forever the voice of Fear Factory.
But the soul is freed from the machine.
more like factory machine*
A factory where fear is common
👁🖤🤘
Fear Factory, Pantera, Machine Head, KoRn were the bands that pushed metal to a new era with their modern sound and ideas!!! Love 90's
Sepultura...
Meshuggan
@@MIZORAM_mafaka_hnamte yup!
@@carlosaaleyva1180 yup, too!!!
And many others my friend
Hard to believe how ahead of their time they were. This song is 22 years old now and still sounds better than anything on the radio today.
Metal on the 90's still sound fresh in general
That is not hard
Fact! Hands down for this tune and actually test drive 5 one of the best games ever with best soundtrack ever!
@@douglasrobert7368 The soundtrack made the game IMO. Especially the opening with the cover of Cars.
@@richardlambou1416 Bravo! I'll ckeck it out. Thank you! By the way I was wondering to create a playlist with all the games soundtrack in one playlist an then add for a new games today such as forza horizon 4 and crew2 and so on.
These old games were really gold in soundtrack.
Demanufacture is one of the best metal albums...EVER. Masterpiece.
The drumming was an absolute masterclass in kickwork.
Aw mate true fuckin story i love it
@@richardweiss326 badass drummer
Right on!!!!!
I prefer soul of a new machine
Mortal Kombat + Fear Factory Demanufacture = my start in 1995 hard metal. A legendary clip for me like an album Demanufacture. I have been listening to this immortal album for 26 years already 10/10. Special thanks to the film The Mortal Kombat.
Sameeee, hearing Zero Signal on that Scorpion vs Johnny Cage fight was a game changer for me.
if you're gonna mention that, you have to praise and bow to Blood & Fire off that same soundtrack.
My introduction to heavy music in gnrl is scarlxrd (British Trap Metal artist), When I listened to Heart Attack for the first time I got that 'AHA!' moment, I was thinking, ''Holy shit, this is what I needed for so long, it's so heavy!''
Then I found Slipknot, Korn, Linkin Park, Slayer(Dislike),Metallica(Dislike), and then just maybe 4 months ago, I found GOJIRA, I also loved this band instantly!

@@TheYusten How could you not mention The Invisible?
Same here, I got my first ever cd player and the two cds I got were Hansen (lol) and Mortal Kombat soundtrack.
Zero Signal literally changed my life.
Burton, you'll be forever missed in FEAR FACTORY, your voice was the real soul of the machine. Huge thank you for everything you did with this band, which was unbelievebly amazing and marked a whole generation.
Now you're free from the machine.
I should take a moment to spell bonecrUshing correctly...best clean vocals ever! MK 🇺🇸
FUCK YES
hey the new singer is pretty good
the cleans on this are godlike. so ethereal and soothing, Burton was so unique back in the 90's
He is STILL one of a kind.
yes, he still got a prodigious voice
Like scumgrief 😎
Personal trainer: "C'mon man, just one more rep and you're done"
Burton C. Bell: "I DON'T WANT TO LIFT THAT WEIGHT!"
"Cat give me your paw" and now this. Thanks 😒😂

Lol, it really sounds like
great
The song that made me fall in love with Fear Factory.
Australia SEES
Me, too.
I knew the band as soundtrack of Test Drive 5 (Playstation). I still remember that the code to watch this video is AUXYRAY.
Same
about year ago, me too, fucking amazing, it showed to me while i was listening TON, i clicked and it just reminded me i knew this, great song
FRRR
2020 and beyond still one of the greatest albums ever wrote.
Agree brother
2022 and still the best
Yup
Roadied for them once and I'll never forget how heavy their set was. Shock literally shocked me. I'll never forget it.
Ha! Love your videos dude.
Dino is amazing!!!! Saw them at the Knitting Factory 2007 with Divine Heresy. Dino was exhausted!!!! $12!!!!!!!!!!
Cool
I want to be a roadie 😔
Ray and christian were skeezin over my girl in 05.
Fear Factory is to this day still untouched !!
Dino's riffs are as heavy as he is and his guitar sounds
like Robocop's Auto 9 with that insane triplet burst
You sir are a poet
Blanco Escobar
Great bands & all equal at times, the only albums from Pantera & Machine Head which is really worth your time is, the classics called
*Vulgar Display Of Power* & *Burn My Eyes*,
Fear Factory imo were the only band of the 90's who consistently released classic like albums with Digimortal being the weakest up until that point & that was only because of internal feuding, I always consider Digimortal to be Fear Factory's
*...And Justice For All*,
which is a bit of a grower, & Linchpin being the equivalent of One,
Fear Factory were the most creative & inventive Metal band of the 90's I am sure there is more but in regards to pushing extreme metal to its limits and beyond, few can touch them.
*(if they don't have talent that is.)*
What about *Pissing Razors* brutal masterpiece *Cast Down The Plague*??
Greetings ✘
***** also saying the kings of metal are shit is pure trollin bitch!
ff are just as good as pantera fuck you..you fucking disgrace
led zepplin bitch not fucking zeppeling haha crawl back into your stupid bitch step and pipe down LOL
***** black sabbath isn't king of metal.. those times are gone
The blend of heaviness snd haunting clean vocal choruses makes this song a dystopian classic
Whoever directed this video did such a great job
Bill Ward is the name of the director (not the Black Sabbath drummer). He also directed videos for Machine Head, Prong, Seed (look for the song "Doe") and Smoking Popes.
We know. Oak.
@@andressaldivar2218 thank you so much, I wanted to know 😍😍😍😍😍😍
Fear Factory has stood the test of time!
They NEVER sell out and sound just as great live as they do on their albums!
Oh they tried their best to sell out on Obsolete. See Descent and that questionable cover of 'Cars' for reference.
This is the most underrated band in the history. They're awesome!
Most underrated band ever, really? I think you need to listen to more music. There are bands nobody has ever heard of that maybe deserve as much recognition as almost any band.
Dtyler171 YES. Most underrated band. EVER. Don't worry about it because I have a very large metal (and other genres) music culture and I listen a lot of music ;)
***** they were the forefathers of industrial metal which took after death metal in a way it's BADASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! \m/
***** The way Fear Factory's story links into EBM/Industrial is reayy interesting, they moved away from sample/industrial influenced death metal after Bill Leeb and Rhys Fulber from Front Line Assembly did their Fear is the Mindkiller EP. Fear Factory hired Fulber to produce and play keyboards on Demanafacture, and Front Line Assembly added a lot of heavy metal influences to their next album, Millenium.
since the 80's industrial metal has been around but no bands were there to lead the charge I mean sure u have Nine Inch Nails but they contributed to the alt rock scene not the industrial scene and then u have this band Fear Factory lead the charge with songs like EdgeCrusher, Replica, LinchPin, Shock etc, so while there were bands before Fear Factory like I said these guys lead it the most
I listen to Fear Factory since I was born, my brother who is dead gave me the cd of album demanufacture, and I fell in love with them. This is the best band ever.
Been on a big fear factory binge lately their sound never gets old after all these years. the entire obsolete album sounds more amazing than ever, my personal favourite
Same, its wild how much their music and lyrics seem to hit even harder nowdays haha almost scary
Dimebag was a big fan of Dino Cazares' guitar sound.
wow really?
😂😂😂
Ever saw that live where they played together?
Interestingly enough I remember reading an interview where either Dime or Dino was being interviewed, and both were chasing each other's tone, Dino saying he wasnted to get the vulgar display of power, and Dime just wanting Cazares tone in general!😂
@@MiniMicroPhone yeah I'd like to hear more about this. I couldn't find it online but if you remember it then please elaborate on the Dime connection with this
Beautiful 90s...There is so much nostalgia attached to this album...Those blue lights...
That killer Road-runner circle they had...Raymond and Christian...I haven't got over this album maybe over 5 years now and never will...Bands are still failing to reach the limits of this album...Burton sounded so good! Fear Factory and especially this album changed a lot of things for me and around me! Pantera, Sepultura, Fear Factory, Machine Head, Biohazard, Type O Negative, Slipknot ( All of these bands ruled)
Not only this song is total kickass, the lyrics perfectly describe the life many people and myself are going through, 27 years and those lyrics don't get old
A classic!
Fancy seeing you here. Pretty fuckin epic if you ask me.
Damn right! Absolutely classic...
Never forget this time!
I've had a lot of differences with Matt over the years, but this is definitely one thing we share agreement on.
Nice to see ya here,Matt!

one of the most important songs in metal! GROUND BREAKING
The first time I listened to this song was in 97, and it feels like just yesterday same feelings same passion same energy. This song should be the anthem of Metal.
Слушал этот альбом на кассете ещё подростком))) при чтении книги "чужой". Теперь они у меня в голове неотъемлемы друг от друга.
Шикарно! Я читал комикс «Константин», тоже заходит

Burton bell you have one of the most unique voices in metal ..Thank you for your creativity and unique style..
This LP was a masterpiece. 26 years later still powerful...and definitely worth listening.
People talk about Slipknot, but it was Fear Factory who were the true link between mainstream alternative metal and underground extreme metal.
This is the correct comment.
This song got me through my teenage angst years BIG TIME !!! 2021 and still listening at 39 yo

And maybe too he's filled with pain, what do you guys think about that ?
I've also heard he's a bruised and darkened soul, but I'm not sure.

I remember finding this video hidden on a Playstation game back in the day! Wired it up to my VHS player to get it on tape with the rest of my MTV shit. Lol!
+Seth Connelly It was the original gray top loader Playstation back in the 90's so bear with me. Lol! I think it was one of the Test Drive's. Possibly 4? You had to enter your name as "AuxyRay" or "Sausage" or some shit to unlock it. Lol! None of that triangle, square, circle, circle shit. But yeah, Fear Factory tunes were throughout the gameplay, but this was the video you'd unlock. My first video I ever saw by them too... all because of that game. Ah, (sigh) memories.
test drive 5, good shit!
+Steve Sullivan TEST DRIVE 5!!!!!!!!!
+Steve Sullivan Awesome !
First time i heard this group was a background track to a frag hightlight video, been listening to them ever since :D
Since first I have known this band and their album “Soul of a new machine “ from a metal music magazine in my country Thailand and then I felt in love this band right the way, it’s a kind of music that I really want to listen and looking for it for a long time...Soul of a new machine, Demanufactor and Obsolete are the best of their music...Fear factory, they are great!
The 90's were sooooo good friends. If you were there then you know what I'm talking about. So many crazy memories every time I hear this!!!
Had the pleasure of seeing soulfly cover this at Goodthings festival Brisbane. Hadn't seen it performed live since fear factory 97 Tour. It's a FN rippa.
It was a pretty rad moment. Pit intensity levelled up a couple of notches as the riff kicked in.
It went off like no tomorrow, glad I was there!!
Probably my most listened to song of the last 25 years
Absolutely brutal riffing. Awesome.
This is how metal was introduced to me in Dunkirk NY in 1995 ,thank God 🙏🙏🙏♥️♥️
Saw them live in Bradford when they originally toured this album, to this day ome of the top 5 shows I've seen. They played the album note for note absolutely perfectly, one of the tightest live bands ever.
Demanufacture is one of the best metal albums ever written, definitely in my top 5.
The best voice in metal... Awesome band....

I've seen them in 2001...miss a lot this band..sound so massive ! And still sound good even 20 years later!

The key changes in the vocals are timeless, such an iconic track
I love that pre-verse guitar riff. One of my favorite FF songs; the chorus is great!
a new era of FF has began in 2023!
After all these years, they still got it
Awsome show at Soundwave Sydney 2015!!
never forget, it is about love. argh last of this...... fill it in...
Love this band. Every time I hear this song i get goosebumps. Great. Hell I'll go as far as to say this band is one of the greatest bands I've ever listen to.
One of my favourite metal bands of all time
This is easily one of the greatest songs of all time
2014 and this still kicks the shit out of most stuff that's out there now
totally agree, same here in 2019, too [el'sda2].
2021 and the kicking still goes on :)
Saw this band in 1995 after falling in love with this album, and just saw them a few nights ago play it start to finish. So good. I hadn't listened to the album in years, but still knew every word of every song. Don't make em like this anymore. Replica is the first song I heard, don't even remember when or where, but I immediately went out and bought the cd.
One of the most underrated bands ever
My favorite band since 1999, when I was 9 and discovered this fantastic musical genre. Thanks Fear Factory.
If you like this type of music try to listen to the band Sybreed...my fav song is probably Orbital. I think they even had the same producer as FF.
@@MLCrow Yes, i very like Sybreed.
Fear Factory, Machine Head, Sepultura/Soulfly, Pantera.

my 90 in underground house in Ukraine. Cannabis, music and table tennis. It was cool. Still remember it with love.
Dinamo Kiev rules great club
в 97-ом году мы ставили эту композицию в нашем деревенском клубе под Орлом. Да, мы с братом были продвинутые в метальном плане.
Got to say I hated growing up in the 90s but now I really fucking miss those days and the music
The kick drum shot is what hooked me on this band, two decades ago.
Saw this song performed live last night and screamed the lyrics the whole way through, worth it.
I discovered this group last year during Spring lockdown...Then discovered another 90s metal band (Type O Negative) in Fall lockdown, and many others followed. 2020 was bad af, but at least it made me discover pure legends. Problem is I got even more nostalgic of an era when I wasn't even born... Bummer
💀 And now I see that the lead singer is leaving the group 😭
it´s been 21 years since i first listened to this song, and I still find it perfect. Damn what an incredible band
I would say that Demanufacture was essential. I remember falling asleep to this CD.
Burton C Bell is the absolute best. I really miss him smashing the songs. HK Hunter/Killer, I'm so glad I got to meet him and see them live so many times.
I remember when this video came out back in the day my buddy and I were amazed by that double bass towards the end. Still impresses the hell out of me actually.
