that's what happens when you don't play ball with record company scumbags... you get forcibly forgotten, and bands that start way after you get all the glory for creating what you started, but they sucked that rod. Dunno' why we don't learn that but then I see whats popular, what buys it and how brainwashed they are..... ALL makes sense and another reason to hate this rock.
I met Burton at Walmart, in Charlotte. It was the day of Ozzfest '99. My friends and I chased him through the parking lot and into the store. We got down on our knees in front of him, and did the Wayne and Garth "We're not worthy!". He started laughing. He was buying socks and razors. He chatted with us for a few minutes. Very cool guy. Had a smile on his face the whole time talking with us.

It's funny, I live in a town called Lewisburg in Pennsylvania and went to high school in the neighboring town of Mifflinburg. I started listening to Fear Factory around 1999 and there was a rumor that their keyboardist, John Bechdel, had a house in Mifflinburg. You need to understand that Mifflinburg was nicknamed Cow Town for a reason. There's barely anything of note out there, plenty of farm and woods, heck, even the Amish use horses and buggies out there. I wasn't able to corroborate this rumor of a rock star living in the sticks with us so I left it at that.
By 2021 I was talking to a coworker about Fear Factory and the John Bechdel rumor. He said, "Oh yeah, my dad and I know him. You know Burton C. Bell's family lives in Milton, right?" Milton is the other small town neighboring Lewisburg. Sure as shit, Burton's own IG has posts from Lewisburg and Milton on it. I've been a FF fan for almost a quarter century and two of their OG members have spent time in the middle of the bumfuck nowhere area I live in. Right under my nose and I didn't even know it. And I've never met them once. You lucky devil, you!

Filter played before Coal Chamber as well. I think the promoters expected more interest in the CC reunion than there actually was. I doubt half the venue was full for the Pittsburgh show.

One of the most amazing voices in metal but like a normal regular nice guy. This dude is my Bruce Dickinson.
Bruce is an asshole as a person compared to Burton. Bruce is nice on stage but the opposite off stage. Saw him here in Argentina twice last year and he wasnt nice to his fans.
You can tell that he is a nice guy just by looking at him.
It's because Iron Maiden are more popular so they have to deal with fans more often which can get annoying.
Out of all of these Tour Bus videos, Burton, gave the best explanation of everything.
He did a very good job!

For a band like FF, they may actually prefer not to headline one in a while. You have a better chance at picking up some new fans that way.
Coal Chamber was probably bigger than FF back in the day. This was always their reunion tour so it got a fair bit of hype.

Burt comes across as happy and welcoming. It’s genuinely sad he’s parted ways with the band. Having said that, I am pumped to see what dynamics a new vocalist brings to the band. Fear Factory Forever! 🤘
Time to change name. Cannibal Corpse was a different band when they changed vocalist from Chris to George in 1996, they were never CC after that (but they kept rolling with the same name). They should have renamed too.
I've loved Fear Factory from the beginning, and it's so cool to see these bands as people like you and me. Sometimes it's disappointing, but most of the time it just makes you more of a fan than you already are. Really loved the part around 4:52 where he mentions "gifts for my kids." Besides the fact that he's wearing a totally cool Swans t-shirt, this video is just more proof of the honest humanity and intelligence of the best extreme bands.

One thing I respect any band for after seeing your series is they make these buses their homes, away from their actual homes. I know they make the best of it and enjoyable, but as a 37 year old man who likes to walk around and lounge in my own home, I could not do it.
Yeah, touring definitely isn't easy. Even in a luxury bus like this, you're still living in a space the size of a small one bedroom apartment with up to 11 other people.
You can't even do number two or the angry driver will beat you! Just crap in a bag in your coffin. I guess you can go through that if the tour is sold out and you know you're making some sweet sweet money which is more important than gods!!

Fear factory is the shit, insane kick ass Metal that will make your body shake,😊🤘 I will never forget Ozzfest 97 Alamo dome, they rocked it. Keep it up guys more than 25 yrs and still kicking ass, my hats off to ever member of Fear factory former members and todays.
We got on sepulturas bus with tim from vod in Cincinnati back in the day. They were playing fifa. It was pretty insane.
Fear Factory one of my ALL time Faves! Seen them 20+ times! Burton Is awesome human being. I’m from Columbus, Ohio; was living on OSU campus and had seen FF the night before at the Legendary Newport! There is a Independent Record Store called Magnolia ThunderPussy abd they gave Yons I’d Metal T’s, and tons of Metal! My best friend had FF tattoos and we ran into Burton talking to the store owner and I had my FF shirt on and he saw us and invited us to burn a Joint in the back room and iater Burton and Dino came back to my Campus house which was 3 ex Army GroundPounders abd two Jarheads and all due hard Metal fans! They partied with us and gave us tixs and backstage passes to the next night show in Cincinnati!

It really depends. Some fans bring presents and others don't. It all comes down to personal preference.

One would think that a bus would have been invited by now that you could do #2 on and it not be a horrendous event.... just a thought for the bus manufacturers out there.
It already exists. We've been on a few that you can #2 on. It requires the bus to have a "grinder" (I know, it sounds disgusting). Bands have the option to install them on the bus if they don't come with one, but they are pretty expensive and bus drivers are not a fan of them, because they have to clean them.
A lot of bands will "hot bag" if worse comes to worse.
😦 You would bring up "Hot bag-ing". Amd why do bus drivers have to be so difficult as well as mean spirited? 😞

Birch Run is awesome little town. That would my pit stop on my way visiting my grandma's house. haha
You guys have to go to Birch Run restaurant off of I-75, they have the world's largest hamburger at the size of a dinner plate and normal side of fries is a big basket. They say if you eat the whole hamburger you don't have to pay for your meal. haha
It's a cool road trip but freaking long too if you're going way up to the North UP.
I do think many of you have gone up there, great during spring, summer fall but suck during Winter.
Like I said my relatives are up there and grew up also have to school during heavy snow storms not cool at all. It's a good excuse to a play an instrument fight the frigid Northern Mi, cold it does get same temps as Norway during Winter but not as bad.
