Believe it or not when Burton says “what song do you wanna hear my friend?” at 32:47 is referred to me. I was in the first row with my 18 years, fire red hair (just on the front) and a shitty life🤣. I even prepared a banner (still got it!) with “SUFFER BASTARD welcome back Fear Factory” written on it which was put on the stage at the end of the gig. You can actually see my arm throwing it on at 38:04. It was a special day and I feel VERY happy to being there (were also greatest band in that festival as Children of Bodom and Helloween🤟🏻). Needless to say that at that question I screamed MAAARTYYYRR!!! with all my voice! FEAR FACTORY ABSOLUTELY KICKED ASS ON THAT DAY. NO DOUBT. Thanks for the upload! I’m crying!
P.S. I don’t miss those days cause I lived them at the maximum. Looking back to this give me just joy for what have been til today (and tomorrow)
I wish you the best !😁
Thats awesome!!! Yea was a great album. Glad you had the experience there. Cheers
That’s so cool dude saw them in 2000 Leeds England and xzibit the rapper played after haha crazy
wow who fucking cares!
🤡
I’ve seen a ton of new content with FF’s news singer, Milo. While, he is good, he will never be this good. BCB will never be duplicated, replicated, or remanufactured. Long live the legacy of this incredible band.
Ya, can't beat the OG lineup...but at least Dino is still out there represent'n. Way to many great tracks to let go in the chest and forgotten.
@@MandrakeRoots I agree, sad I never saw FF back in their prime but Milo is giving it is all and I'm just grateful that I'll be able to hear some of their songs live.
Milo's stage presence is weak and corny.
Burtons vox are perfect here
I'm pretty bitter that this era of Fear Factory is like some kind of never mentioned dirty little secret now...I really love alot of Archetype
And it’s like they’re almost out there prime with how good they sound without Dino .:: and I don’t mind this lineup I wish we had it now even if it meant being without Dino !! New album is actually really good goddamn shame he’s no longer singing
@@nickrooney6206 the lyrics on the new album are amazing. They're such a killer band even almost 20 years later. Burton will be missed.
Agreed!
CoW had a ton of charisma.
The cool part is that Dino plays songs from that era now days!!! This was around the time i really got into them heavy so I feel you there man this was a great fucking album start to finish!
Slave Labor is one hell of an opener, love it!
Strapping Young Factory
wow burts voice aint what it used to be, but here he sounds better than ever!
I miss Ray and Christian so much.
we all do
I miss Gene more than either tbh Mechanize is my favorite FF album it has Powershifter which is my favorite FF song and it has so many other gems! Oxidizer, Final Exit, Fear Campaign, Designing the Enemy, and not to mention the title track! Mechanize is just a skull smashing album from front to back! #BringBackGeneAndByron
gene is brilliant but he was on one album, raymond will always be THE fear factory drummer to me, the drumming on demanufacture is just incredible
I miss the classic lineup like crazy. It's never going to happen though. I think FF is completely done now. If anyone knows what is actually going on with this Monolith record I'd love to know!!
revivedfears ..well there's a huge rumor going on that "Christian & Ramond are back in the band"!!😈😈..I hope sooo!!!..FUCK!! ITS BEEN TO LONG!!
No one talking about Raymond just destroying it the whole time 🤙🏻🤙🏻
The mexicutioner 🤘🥁
Raymond is fabulous, love him. Demanufacture and Self Bias Resistor just blew me away...
Raymond never got the recognition he deserves i felt.
@@PanicLifthe did
Raymond herrera et Christian olde wolbers font partie de mes musiciens favoris de metal industriel ,trash, death melodic et heavy metal. Pour ma part byron stroud j'aime bien son travail aussi
Goddamn, Burt’s voice here is just about perfect. Hell, everything is just so tight, Christian on guitar was brilliant. I feel the Archetype era is really underrated and under appreciated.
Archetype era is not appreciated only by Dino Cazares :)
Actually Archetype got tons of good reviews and lots of coverage in magazines back then. It was generally praised and seen as a return to good after the rather mediocre Digimortal iirc. I never had the impression it's underrated but the term is thrown around rather as an expression of sentimentality imho. Anyway, bunch of good songs on it.
@@thomasnihil4878The whole album is fucking amazing, beginning to end. Not one bad song on it. I actually really love Digimortal as well.
@@Divine_Serpent_Geh The album was an unexpected and creative comeback for sure.
@@deran1983I've heard Dino say he likes the first half of the album
Archetype was FF at it's best.
Archetype sounds so good, I love this show
...and they ended it with Replica...awesome execution too.
One of the best live performances ever from Fear Factory.
Fear Factory were at their peak here. Archetype is one of their best, even up there with Demanufacture and Obsolete!
It's less of an Industrial album, much more pure metal, thrash like, it's awesome
@@mattbuza8964 they definitely shed their robotic skins from digimortal.
I love Fear Factory. They just could not stay together and to my sadist and disappointed Metal mind.
Watch Worcester 1999 and see what's a band at its peak
@@brugges Nope, this is better. Tighter.
This was a bad ass show! Burton sounded so fucking epic!
It’s so crazy that this was 20-years ago…Time is flying by. I saw this lineup live quite a few times, including their tour with Lamb of God and also the co-headlining tour with Suffocation which was fantastic.
Burton smashes it
And devourers it too
This was the best FF line up I dont give a shit what anyone says. And Bell at his best before voice went.
This is the shit! Fucking flawless from start to finish Christian and Raymond ripping it up. Wish the guys could get over there differences. Fear Factory deserves to be remembered for being kick arse like this.😎come on guys sort it out!
It's time for these members to reunite!
Cyberwaste seems so goddamn heavy here. Love it!
Favorire lineup, favorite era❤
Raymond is such an amazing drummer
Thanks for the upload! This era is the best! Burton's voice is perfect and the a songs are absolute killer! I love Christian on guitar!
Yes, yes... the man who killed Fear Factory in a court year ago is best.
TrulyStucker do you have sources for this? I suspected that this was the reason FF have effectively disappeared, but I haven't seen any actual concrete evidence. Also genexus seems to have vanished off Spotify, at least in the UK, not sure if it is related?
Wolbers made a post in his instagram 'RIP FF' and in comments section told that Burt and Dino can't do anything under FF label anymore + he constantly posts something in insta stories etc saying 'My vengeance is done' etc His instagram post was deleted shortly tho, but people saw it.
TrulyStucker yeah I saw the "rip FF" post but I interpreted that as if he was talking about the 'original' FF. I would love to see a reunion but I imagine there is some real bad blood now. Wolbers is clearly very passionate about FF judging from his insta, it really sucks it all ended the way it has.
Yea thr is updates right now it's all leaked now with burt vs ray and Chris so that's why dinosaurs says no new ff album yet but he has his other crushing band asesino tho. Sad man the original lineup was best I think but mechanize and genexys were really good
Fu la prima volta che li vidi. Me ne innamorai subito
whoa what a setlist!
Госпади как-же они тут хорошо звучат!
Можно даже сказать, что охуенно 🔥
Awesome! Thanks
That self bias resistor was so well done
Daaam im really goin to miss this band lots of great memorys dino and burton love u guys
Incredible!! So heavy and tight
amazing video. they're ferocious here!!!
One of the best!👊🏼
Concerto memorabile!!!
I was there! First row!! Thanks for uploading this.
Great gig, enjoyed that. Great record, haven't listened to it in 10 years plus I'd say until this week.
I’ve seen them during the same tour, but in France. What a freaking awesome show! Everything, even the vocals were perfectly on point.
Summer day in hell 2004...my first festival🖤
che tempi...great concert
Fuck yeah!!! Thanks a lot man, you fucking rule. This makes me so happy \m/
Cyberwaste is my favorite song of Fear Factory
Badass👍
Visti 2 giorni prima a borgaro torinese.. Timelessness come chiusura.. Senza parole..
Christian Olde Wolbers played Tight on Guitars. Great Show and Great crowd.🤘🤘
Very funny
Лучший концерт!
This was a really good era.
Dude this lineup sounds way better than Dino’s garbage shit now. I miss Ray. His timing on the double bass to snare was like a clock.
Your trippin the guitar sounds like shit especially in the older songs!
The true Atomic Clock
Over the top.
wow Shock was on point
best line up of FF. absolute greatness. also does anyone know why archetype is not available on any music platforms to listen or buy
Because Dino doesnt own this record and its too much pain to obtain the rights so its not worth it (by his own words)
Archetype is my favorite FF album and might be their best.
Demanufacture will always be their best album hands down
Good times
It's comical to hear Dino talk about "studio magic" helping Burton out in the latter records, and while I'm sure that's true all the extra flair Burton put into the live shows that *wasn't* on the albums was part of what made the late 90s/early 00s era so incredible
I saw this tour twice with lamb of god in DC and Norfolk…. They were really at their peak here ….. if your eyes were closed you would never know that Christian was playing guitar instead of Dino
after two years at filling-station: the band factory fear, it's now interchanged...
Io c'ero! Che tempi ^^
Goddamn Burtons voice was fucking amazing here.
8:33 oh HELL YEAH!
Jaska Raatikainen from COB @ 3:50.
Wow Dino has changed a lot 😅
Burt made a mistake not staying with Ray & Christian. Would have avoided two bankruptcies too.
They couldn't work things out in a first place, there was no mistake
@@TrulyStucker Why?
FF Forever 🌍🤘💪😈💚🤘🤘
Wish I got to see this lineup live. Unpopular opinion but I like Christian on guitar better than Dino.
Agree.
I don't like Dino. This band was so much better without him
I remember when remanufactured came out and because this guys use keyboard and sound effects, and the drums are so fast. People said the drummer wasn't drumming it was electronic. I knew that was bullshit then because I watched up close live performances where the camera showed the drummer alot because of that. He played every song fast as he'll. No cheating. Then dummies would say he uses triggers. Almost all metal drummers especially industrial metal drummers use triggers. But not to cheat. To alter the sound of the drums to fit the music. That's what triggers are for. To make your drums set to different sounds. But no real band uses them to cheat and have a drum machine play the fast parts. VINNIE Paul never cheated on drums but he used triggers to make his snar louder. He also used a massive drum set and played with the sticks turned around so the drums where heavier sounding. He used 14 inch floor Tom's as rack Tom's. He was a beast. He played every note. Now playing this fast is the standard in metal. Because of pantera and fear factory. Joey jordison used triggers in slipknot. Not to cheat. To alter certain drum sounds. You can tell a fake ass drum machine. None of those bands ever used fake drum machines. They said it about fear factory because the drums where programmed to sound somewhat electronic. To fit the heavy fast music. But now every drummer in metal uses triggers to get a heavier thump. Or snap on the snare. But they play every note. I always laughed when people would say so and so uses triggers. Like that means they aren't playing. I cant think of one punk, metal, hardcore or rock artist worth a crap that uses drum machines. Real rock fans would disown their favorite bands. Fake drums are for rap and dub step. If anyone can name a good rock band that fakes live performances please let me know. I doubt anyone. If I'm wrong prove it to me. Because I don't know any fake guitarists bassist singers or drummers in rock. That goes against what rock stands for. Lol Wayne and Jay z use fake drums not rock bands.
Demanufacture sorry for the rant. But rock is real. Rap isn't
Snare
Auto tune is frowned upon in rock also. You can tell auto tune just like lip syncing. To breathing sounds, no slip ups, the s's in words leave a distinct sound like life thatsss full of misery. Not life that's full of misery. No tell tale lip sync or auto tune can be hidden from a metalhead. There are so many tells it's unbelievably obvious in pop, rap and the new fake country. Not Johnny cash, and hank Williams. These country rock rap pop abominations. They call country
Well said
Auto tune is also used as a vocal effect, not for vocal correction. It gives a robotic sound to the vocals which can fit very well in many different genres. Hating on auto tune is just like hating on drum triggers. Ignorant
Is it me or Christian's playing is way tighter than Dino's?
I'M ABOUT TO SAy THE SAME AFTER ALL THESE YEARS
I was wondering if that was Christian or not. And definitely way better than Dino for sure lol
Funny thing is that christian was not very thight on the bass
@@brugges cause he was jumping around like crazy on the stage all the time while on bass :D
It’s you.
How fucking tight is Raymond's hi-hat work at 33:45?! Man is a machine.
Damn that is pretty good performance and good phone camera for 2004.
There were no such phone cameras in 2004. It's filmed with camcorder.
People saying the new singer can even compare to Burton need to watch this video lol
is it Steve Tushar on keyboards? he had previously his own electro-industrial project named Carbon 12
Yep, it's him
Great Band. Shame they couldn't get Along with each other.🤘🤘
It was more or less Dino's return that caused ray and Christian to leave, Byron left because he didn't like Dino and then Burton left because of Dino. Basically Dino is a wanker.
lol... every fear factory video has the same comment: "Fear Factory were at their peak here."
Hey buddy - Awesome footage - Loved this Era for sure. So much anger but power aswell :)
Would love to trade for this show as I have one I'd think you'd like that I filmed :)
Let me know if your interested buddy :) and again thanks for the Upload of this awesome show :)
@@TrulyStucker Thanks buddy :)
What happened to homeboy with the corn rolls!?
The best, no Corporate Cloning, Drones or Bite The Hand That Bleeds? ='( amazing songs.
if u havent, check the paris france performance. Drones is a must listen. if not, the sunset strip performance was pretty good. its around here somewhere!!
@@Fishgod1216 Thanks x
Wonder if Milo was at that show :D
This is Fear Factory not Milo's Wish Factory brought you by the Make a Wish Foundation.
Wish Factory 😂
8:32 someone climaxed lol
Fear Factory always sounded better with a live keyboard player
I respect Dino, but Chris has it all. Beside ability to play(of course), fucking stage prescence. (Sorry for spelling)
Christian was the Jason Newsted of Fear Factory.
Yes. And Andrew Shives was Cliff Burton. What are you talking about? Not a single common thing!
@@TrulyStucker sit down man!! Obviously you don't understand comparisons between some of the musicians in the metal world.
@@franciscoguardado5827 obviously you can only come up with preposterous comparison without any ability to explain
@@TrulyStucker n
Don't need to explain! Good day.
@@franciscoguardado5827 Shame you don't want to explain. Good day.
Now this is real Fear Factory. I miss this band. Not the Fear Factory now of 2023 crap Factory now
28:58 Milo is good but these cleans are epic. Burton can be mimicked but not replaced.
Archetype is probably Burton's best clean vocal performance in general. Lots of clips of him nailing the ending Open Your Eyes section in ways that make you wish he displayed those kinda pipes on more songs.
I agree Milo is great but Burton was the greatest metal vocalist around back here holy shit
Soooooo no one im looking at here is in the band now but FF is still going? Doesnt feel right
It's been almost twenty years man. Things change.
18:18-18:20
What was that he said?!
Burton said 'molto bene' in italian, which means 'very well/very good' in english.
It's good they got that new singer.
Toddler Burton wets the bed too much.
I see Dougie I see Juan......And those people fucking up the back drop wtf?? Dougie droppin the ball ;(
Lazy crowd. Fear Factory at this time was awesome.
Ugh... anyone else on here hating on Dino for buying the name after Burton went bankrupt and basically ending FF? He's CYBERWASTE!
Lol. Otherwise. if Dino wouldn't buy out Fear Factory, the band would die. Burton wouldn't return anyways as he couldn't get money from FF anymore (royalties). Dino outbid Christian and Ray. Raymond is not even drumming anymore. If you don't like the present state of FF, remember, it's either like that or completely dead, without releasing AC and so on
It's that Lars Ulrich on drums?
Get the fuck outta here
of course! and vince neil on guitttttars
Trujillo is singing also
U kidding me
Fear Factory...wish edition
Yeah The 2023 version is Fear Factory in Name ONLY. A a Fear Factory Karaoke Cover Band.
Burton is perfect in this era of FF, but Christians guitartone was always weak, i hate it. Go Burton tho ✌🏻
Raymond kills it! But this is the worst era of Fear Factory. However, they do sound fantastic live in this video. Burton is on fire
Came here after live with Milo. Dam, young Burton is a real beast! No one can get to his level and never will!
Little Milo was probably ten years old here not even knowing who FF was
Miles is probably in the crowd somewhere
