    I have a chair that works perfectly, in math class. Literally every morning I crack my back on it. I push up on the desk (they’re connected), and lean back. It cracks my back instantly, and being a swimmer, I need my muscles to be loose, so it’s always really nice. I’m glad to see that actual chiropractors recommend this.

  • @BrainyBeesTV712
    @BrainyBeesTV712 6 років тому

    I coughed last night and I felt a sharp pain in the lower back and tingling down my right leg. It's the weekend and my chiropractor office is not open. I woke up in pain sore and almost hunched over from the pain. I started doing some research online because this issue started 5 years ago after my workout. I've been going to the chiropractor after chiropractor and every three months or so I'll be back with the same issue. I read up on my symptoms and since it's been 5 yrs with the same problem I narrowed it down to sciatica. I serached pinched nerve on UA-cam and found your videos and started doing them immediately. I am now sitting up in bed typing this review with litte pain. I set and alarm and have been doing these stretches every hour (road kill etc.). I completed the standing way of cracking your back and did it at various levels, as well as, the one with the foot behind the knee. I was able to lay on the floor and complete this and get up with no pain. Thanks kindly for your videos, I truly do appreciate you giving your time to help and educate others.

    Wow the first two ways were what I already do, didn't even get told, at least I know I am doing this safely! Thanks. Also my GP told me to lie flat on my back, tuck my knees up, close them together and swing from waist to the right and left, cracks whole spine!

    This is not a good exercise to practice. Keep in mind that "cracking" your back or neck will almost always give instant relief as this is a neurological positive side effect moving vertebrae within the spinal column. This however is not indicative of a successful adjustment. Pain can commonly be generated by a lack of movement in a section of the spine, such as two vertebrae fixated upon one another. When this occurs the vertebrae surrounding the fixated segment will become hyper-mobile in a attempt to restore normal movement to your spine. These hyper-mobile segments are the path of least resistance. When performing a non-specific spinal manipulation such as the one in this video, these hyper-mobile segments will be the ones that move producing the cavitation (cracking noise). This will further mobilize these segments making the fixated segment even less likely to heal. There are many other reasons why this is a bad idea as well such as putting yourself at risk of nerve impingement and or disk injury to name a few.
    Your spine houses your spinal cord and gives support to your entire body, if you have a problem do not treat your self as a science experiment trying random online videos, get help from a professional.

    I've done all of these for years but I finally came up with a method to crack the UPPER MIDDLE back consistently, chiropractor qaulity, on my own! you need a bath tub/shower. lay flat in the tub back far enough that your neck is scrunched upward on the back of the tub. Now put both feet up against the front of the tub/shower about one and a half feet high. Now place your hands on your knees.. and push your hands forward into your knees while pushing your body backwards with your feet. My back cracks so loud when I do this and its so relieving! It's taken me years of expiriments to finally come up with this method and I finanlly have relief without relying on other people! hope this helps you!
