I had so much pain, I thought I'd need hip replacement or something like that. I could barely walk. I watched this video and did your different positions and found out it was a pinched nerve in my back. I can't tell you how much relief I felt after doing these positions. Thank you so much for your help, you saved me a doctor's visit and so much stress. You guys are amazing. I am 74 yrs old and feel like your excercises are mild enough for seniors.
I’ve been suffering so bad with extreme pain for over 10 years now, I sure wish your business was close to me. You guys are the only therapist who seems like you know what your taking about. Love your videos!!!
Hi I've had back pain since 200 I've had 6 surgery they want to cut again on me I don't believe it will work I can't even sleep normally hours because the pain is to much. I also have neck pain that goes down my arms carpal tunnel it hurts big time when your fingers get stuck together Well I wish you luck because I've been sleeping on the chouch for years now the bed don't even helps me but whatever you do don't have surgery unless you feel it will work out for you. Take care
Lemme tell you, from experience, I have learned that if you need to know something, talk to someone who OVER-knows something, someone who is an enthusiastic geek for what they do. They are fantastic resources. These guys have helped me more than my last three PCPs have. Honestly. Doin' the Lord's work.
I had lower back pain for years before someone told me it was because of a weak core. I strengthened my core and my back pain went away. You’re welcome
Nah I just enjoy watching this instead of Netflix in my free time Lol I’m jk I’m here because of a back injury. I’m so glad I randomly found this channel. These guys are great!!! 👍 I’m learning more here than from my doctors and Physical Therapist lol

You should take advantage of that while you’re still young. If I had taken the advice from an orthopedic surgeon several years ago, I would be a physician/surgeon right now specializing in spinal orthopedic surgery…it’s much too late for that now. Regret is a terrible thing to live with.
This was literally the most critical video you two have done yet---so awesome, thank you, thank you! I've had it all--herniated discs, facet joint issues, AVN (had hips removed), and on and on. What has gotten me through it is ongoing PT. You've shown me some new ones, though, which have been invaluable.
Every time I go to the doctor they send me to three different places and they all say something different, then at the end of it all I am just spending money
@@joshhutchins5961 some says it's pinched nerve, some says hip arthritis. Symptoms I feel: hamstring is very tight, causing hip pain, when sit for than 15-20 min. Pain shifts to back & causing backpain, early morning low back stiffness. I am also spending the money & eating a anti inflammatory food as much as possible. Get well soon :)
After few months of seeking a back pain treatment, I`ve finally found the best back pain guide for me known as MyBackPain7.blogspot.com Because it helped my back pain, I`ve got no difficulty sleeping any more. Very glad with this particular guide. It`s firm and just what I was seeking.
I have been suffering with a horrible sharp pain in my left hip for several weeks - has been stopping me sleeping and nothing I've tried has helped. Until now! I did your series of stretches to see what the likely cause of the pain was and by the end of the video the pain had suddenly stopped. Fantastic. The first time I did the 'slump' test it hurt on the lhs and then when I tried it again a bit later it was fine. Not sure what happened but very happy with the outcome. Many thanks.
OMG!!!!! I just came across you guys and I am beyond grateful!!! I’ve been a pet stylist for 15+ years and have suffered many injuries. The worst injury happened 9 years ago and effects me daily. My L-4 & L-5 suffered damage and an MRI showed I have both a slipped disc and either a herniated or bulging disc. I was then referred to a physical therapist who showed me various stretches and exercises to help alleviate the discomfort…end of story!! I’m constantly suffering pain, some days are WAY worse than others and the only source of relief is my back brace during those unbearable days. I am going on a serious binge to watch ALL your content to get a better understanding of what’s going on with these types of injuries when they occur, nerve damage, long term effects, etc. You both are absolutely amazing, intelligent, highly educated and most importantly (for me personally) a sense of humor!!!! That in itself was the second motivating factor, first was finding a professional who specializes in this medical field and finding general knowledge of my situation. Anyone can tell you’re both SO passionate about what you do! I’m SO happy I found this channel! I’m now a forever subscriber with notifications on🤘🤘🤘
This completely helped me figure out between my back pain. Bad sleeping postures and lazy form during working out sometimes gives me different back pains. Ty for the clarification. Love your channel
Excellent Video clip! Excuse me for chiming in, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you heard the talk about - Proutklarton Enjoy Playing Plan (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a smashing exclusive guide for relieving back pain in just 16 minutes without the normal expense. Ive heard some great things about it and my old buddy Taylor finally got excellent success with it.
@@alexvidu4517 My thoughts are that you're trying to sell this program. I'm also pretty sure that you don't care about our thoughts and that your old buddy Taylor doesn't exist. Since your channel mostly consists of marketing videos for UA-cam I'm fairly certain that your entire message is constructed of marketing techniques.
Hey I’m new and hoping to get your attention for some help. I had a l4 l5 fusion n decommission when I woke up from the 6 hr surgery I was in terrible pain and my testicular area was throbbing. It’s now been 2 years and when u over work myself or do a little to much my back gets super tight and my testicals throb so much I can’t walk. Please help me I’m begging anyone
Jeffry Blackmon they have tons of videos with multiple back hip info. I’ve been watching em a while. They are good smart and comical all together. Love how they talk over each other lol Good guys😇😁👍
My son James really loves you guys. He fell on his sacrum playing basketball and is now only mobile with a walking stick. At 35 and 6ft 4ins he is desperate for a solution and hasn't been able to play his favourite sport for the last 10 years and now can't work. Thank you so much for for your videos which I have just discovered.
After 6 years of pain, I have finally been able to figure out exactly where my pain is. I 100% have SI. Right down to the leg length discrepancy. Can’t lie on my back. You guys are amazing
I took great comfort in even professional people like you are not sure what causes the pain when it happens sometimes. Lower back pain has been bothering me for a long time and this is the first time I find out what exactly it is. Saved me a trip to the GP for an ambiguous answer. Thank you!
248...? :) 5 years ago I had severe low back pain like a knife in my spine for about 2 weeks and could barely walk. From the "Motivational Doc" channel tip, I slept on my back with a pillow under my knees and thighs and noticed a slight improvement the next AM. Did this for 5 days and it cured me! Several times after I quit using the pillow, I've noticed the pain coming back, and reusing the pillow has cured it. About a year ago I started getting a severe hip pain while sitting and could barely drive my car and sit at home. I suffered about 2 weeks and thought since my hip and lower back are joined maybe the pillow would help my hip. The pillow cured my hip in about 4-5 days. Also from a sports doc tip, I cured myself about 10 years ago from severe (head forward) shoulder neck pain by sleeping on my back with a medium towel rolled up in a pillow case held by rubber bands under my neck. It works! 😀
It's amazing, what you start to describe at 3:00 is what I've been suffering since December 17th, 2014 non stop, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, even in my sleep. The cause??? One of the biggest mistakes in my life: I-Fuse surgery. I woke up during the surgery from the agonizing pain, apparently one of the rods pinched a nerve that exits into my left leg. Everything you guys describe is what I feel. Did i say 24 hours a day???? 7 days a week??? Yes, that is correct. I had a revision performed 6 weeks later, had I known I would have had them remove all 3 rods. Don't let anyone perform this surgery before doing all you homework and then some. I wish I was near you guys, I pray for the day that I wake up and there is no more pain in my foot, THAT'S the worst part, I wish I could see you guys in person, I've been watching you guys for years and I love you both, thank you for doing what you do, I'm now suffering from pain in my hip, it feels like spasms in the pelvis region and both hips, especially the right one, gonna watch this video over and over again and hopefully.... I'll find an answer. Blessings to you both.
I just LOVE you guys and everything about this UA-cam Channel--intro song included! Thank you for your generosity & for sharing your knowledge and yourselves so generously!
My daughter and I did the move where I lay on stomach keep pelvis on bed lift upper torso with your arms creating a u shape. She pressed below waist line on my back. The bulging disc went back into place after years of pain. Thank you Bob n Brad!!!!!!!!!! Seriously the very best
I’ve experienced almost all of these and now have Adhesive Arachnoiditis - unfortunately no longer a rare disease. God bless you all working to keep folks out of pain.
I have been having some lower back pain, which I thought was muscle, and thanks to this video I am sure it 99.9% is. Still going to have it confirmed, but wanted to thank you. :) I love your videos.
I'll be looking for exercises to help with the nerve pain. My lower back gets tight, pain in my butt and then goes down my legs. Thank you for all your great info!
In over 15 years I have seen many surgeons, doctors, chiros and physical therapists. It’s amazing how you nailed all my problems that have been eventually addressed but only after seeing numerous providers and many costly studies. But you guys addressed them in under 20 minutes. Most notably the nerve pain and Si joint issues. Leg length discrepancy and pinpoint pain over the SI with pain that radiated to the front hip, thigh and knee. The left was so out of alignment it twisted my pelvis causing my piriformis muscle to trap my nerve causing sciatica down to my outer calf and ankle.
Great team, you work well together and have great chemistry! I’m laying here on hard floor with feet slightly elevated to try and relieve massive pain. Searched this video to infect try and determine what I have before I see the doctor. Thanks for this!🙏

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Because of your great videos & simple ways of explaining things, I was able to pin point my back, hip & leg pain from a car wreck to my SI Joint. After 7 months of visiting one specialist after another with the wrong diagnosis I'm now on to treatments that are actually helping thanks to Bob & Brad.
I am in excruciating pain all day, every day. I'm a disabled vet and I've had 4 lumbar surgeries. 2 were fusions. My pain now goes from my lumbar around my hip and to my groin area. Occasionally it does that and goes down the front of my leg to my knee. I'm at a loss as to what it is. I appreciate your video as it helps me semi self diagnose what's going on. Thank you and God bless.
Sounds like the psoas muscle. I would do the PT exercises that stretch out and strengthen the psoas muscle. Doctors kids this all the time. I know coz I suffered an infection with the psoas muscle outside the surgical procedure I had prior to tte infection. I had fractured a vertebrae which is extremely painful.
After having eight spinal surgeries myself, a two level cervical fusion, two level thoracic fusion, and being fused from S12L3, I think this was such a wonderful video. Even though I understand a lot about the back having gone through the surgeries and through tons of physical therapy and I worked in the medical field for 15 years I found it very interesting to watch and the different signs to look for to try to determine whether it’s muscle nerve or desk. I can usually tell the difference just by the pain but I don’t think everybody would be able to.. My poor son of 26 has developed severe degenerative disc disease just as I have except he got his first surgery at 15 and mine was at 28. Thanks for the video
@ Kristina Knapp I want to thank you for sharing your story. I'm in so much excruciating pain I can't hardly walk. I don't understand a lot of this. I'm scared beyond belief. I was supposed to have a Via disc minimal surgeries two weeks apart. My insurance company said I was approved. This was back in March I got approved. Then I got a call in less than a week before the surgeries were to take place that my insurance company was not going to pay for it. I got an MRI scan and my lower spine is collapsing. I have degenerate disc disease and pinched nerve. I don't know what to do. Could you please send me a post here And I'll check it. My husband passed away and I don't know what to do. He always helped me. Thanks again
@ Kristina Knapp I also have spinal stenosis as well. I hurt so bad. I had total hip replacement about 6 yrs ago. Thank you for any help you can txt me back with.
Have SI Joint pain for years now, following a car accident & Spinal Fusion at L5-S1, which I believe is the cause of the SI pain now. I’m going to try your exercises. Thank you 😊
S.I. Joint pain sucks. Anyone else with it, feel like they want to rip their hips apart and pull them away from you cause of the pain? Ugh. I hate getting old.
OMG, thank you for this! I literally got out of the hospital on yesterday. I was just slightly bending over to get food for my dog(I wasn't even lifting anything) and this stabbing sharp pain hit me in my back. I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis this past year. Anywhoo I went to the ER and the doctor there diagnosed me with a back muscle strain, and quadracept strain. Now, I'm no doctor, but the quadracept is the leg right, not the back. The doctor didn't even touch me, just an x-ray, robaxin 1000mg, and some nsaid for pain. Great, it worked, but now I feel the exact same way I did before. I'm so glad I found your video, and I immediately subscribed. I sat with left leg on the couch, other on the floor, flexed my toes back, there's that awful pain, then I slummped, and looked down, it got significantly worse. I will be making an appointment with my spine doc in the morning. Thank you for this again!!!
I’m scheduled for steroid injection in sacroiliac joint this week. I had one about 9 or 10 months ago. The doctor has made appointments for physical therapy next week.
I have been dealing with pain that has gotten worse moment by moment - day and night - 24 hours a day , especially the last 2-3 weeks. Had an MRI 10 days ago, received a special (PAINFUL by itself) shot of specific medicine to release me from the pain. It was very good the first 24 hours but by 32 hours it was worse, and by 42 hours I was in severe pain. Had to re-connect with the hospital (2 hours away) and set up an appointment for more tests. Watching this UA-cam video of yours about "Low Back & Hip Pain? Is it nerve, muscle , or joint? How to tell." it comes specifically to the point and greatly prepares me for going back to the doctor on Wednesday morning, I will have the answers to his questions ready to pour them out on the specialist part of him and get to the point for the treatment I need. Thank you SOOOOOOOO much for posting this info for me. (I am a missionary in Japan, and usually have a barrier on communicating in a medical situation. Your post sets me up to answer questions and get to the point right away!
No lie. I just performed all of what you showed, step by step on myself in mid workout and fixed my issue by pressing a couple of giant knots wedges between my glut, lower back and hip type area. Holy crap, thank you. 😇🙏
Good video guys. I've had a problem with my QL and Psoas muscles. Basically I started road biking a couple of years ago. Unfortunately I rode for long periods of time in and bad position which led to those muscles on the right side of my lumbar spine to really tighten up. I ignored it for a long time until it eventually compressed a disc so much that it started causing my calves to have constant mini-spams due to nerve root irritation. After months of therapy it's finally almost completely subsided. It took everything from lumbar extensions, to the theracane, ice, massage, inversion table and core strengthening to get somewhat normal again.
Great advice & information guys! Your channel is fantastic! I was born 2lbs and had many health problems the worst being born with dislocated hips and both legs wrapped behind my shoulders. This was a delayed diagnosis so unlike with all our updated technology we have today to strap a baby in a harness to correct this issue, mine consisted of many operations, my first when I was about 2 years old. physical theraphy, pool theraphy, steroids and cortisone injections, any and every otc medicine, & prescription anti inflammatory and muscle relaxers, release of tendons and muscles operations, traction, full body casts 3 different times, a leg machine that consisted of strapping one leg to this machine that would keep pushing my leg up and down I had to use this day and night for months to keep the muscles loose. I had to wear special shoe inserts to raise my shorter leg up to equalize the length with the other leg. I have metal and screws and wires in both hips and zero cartilage left in my hip joints and my joints have fused with my pelvis bone I have no rotation or range of motion what so ever in both hips I suffer from pain all my life and have always walked with a terrible limp/gait. It' puts strain on my back and tail bone and my spine and knees and feet. I just turned 30 years old last week and over the past 5 years my pain has increased so much the older I get I finally had to resort to opiate pain management something I refused all my life until I just couldn't bare it anymore. For the past two years I've been on pain medication which does work but with having to keep up on the doses and not miss because I'd start to withdrawal I feel like there's no hope for any relief. Yes as for me this pain medication help outweighs the risks. Yet I still feel like with a name of oxycodone and OxyContin I feel somewhat embarrassed and ashamed that I have to resort to this just so that I can walk today just so that I can bend over to pick up something off the floor with out screaming in pain. But at the same time there's gotta be a better way. I was told my only option is a complete hip replacement and the doctors said my case was on a scale of 10+ being the most complicated operation they'll have to do and have ever seen and will have to go for a more old fashioned approach of the incision behind instead of the front because of my previous operations. Most times I live happy but sometimes when pain is unbearable I wish I hadn't been born at all. I suffer daily for stiffness and I have severe arthritis. To top it off all the people who laugh snicker and stare. I'd like to go to the grocery store and not take the electric scooter from the store. After every operation I've had to relearn how to walk. It's hard to get by day to day when all that's going on in your body is pain. At the same time there's people who's in a much worse situation than I am. Hopefully one day my legs can be fixed and I can walk like a normal person. Thank you for talking the time to read my story. ❤️
Cheryl Tindwani You are a beautiful strong person. Your story made me cry for what you have dealt with and what you will face. Keep your positive attitude, like you had said there are others out there that have it worse than you... This is what I tell myself as well when I just want to give up. You reach a point with constant pain where you don't want to try living anymore..... But life is pain. Some of us just have to deal with more than others.... If you ever need/want someone to talk to, I would be more than happy to lend you an ear. Much love, and peace be sent to you, along with great health.👍
Great assessments that I use daily in my massage practice. Just now learned about the pinpiint one for SI, Thank you for that ! I like it and will definitely be adding that to my arsenal.
Hello, I’m having pain on my left lower back and hip. I was just wondering is there any tip you guy could give me or do a video for it. Thanks and keep up the good works!
You guys are great, if only my Drs would take the time with me that you guys do for these videos. At only my mid 20s I've got back and neck issues that not many people can relate to and it makes me feel alone at times. These videos really inspired me to try and keep a bit healthier and try harder. The work I love and do is very physical at times and I hate missing day's. I once had a Dr tell me I just need to give up that work and find a desk job and stop riding my bikes as it irritates my issues at times. Something like that at my age can make a person feel lower than low and sent me into a bad depression for a bit. Needless to say I dropped that Dr and have been doing a bit better for the time being and still working. Although I don't ride my bikes as much now I try to remain active. Much of what I Know is going on and to avoid is thanks to this channel. Thank you.
@@adilnasir716 That's really crappy man. I understand what it's like. Tho mine hadden't gotten bad until more recently. Your not alone. Just hang in there and try not to let it get ahead of you. Although some days that's hard to.
I am 25 and broke my left foot and collarbone a few years ago. Year after yer the pain has progressed from my foot to my middle back to my neck. It is constantly moving, and it is so fuckin frustrating. Being my age I can't help but think the doctors think I'm lying trying to get pills or something. They never spend more than 10 min talking to me saying "do some stretches"
@@Gojirasu Try taking a dissolveable minerals and vit c to see if you get stronger. Remember bones feed muscles so if the bones are defficiant than the muscles get weak.

Thank you so much for this video. I have been battling with this problem for some weeks and it is so helpful to have someone explain how to perhaps diagnose my own situation and put my mind at ease until I can get some professional help. ❤
I've been struggling with back pain for almost 5 years. I've accommodated my life so that I can function around it. This video is really helpful. After doing the tests I think it's the SI. I broke my tailbone twice years ago. Could that be a cause? You guys are great!
thanks for this informative video. one last tip: many conditions can co-exist, so if a patient has pain that refers to the thigh, down to the knee, the patient may have ilio-tibial band syndrome with another muscle spasm higher up in the back. remember not to rush to the diagnosis without good history and examination.
And hello....blood clots and a history of dvt should really be considered. So the whole body and soul of the patient should be considered and a good doctor does this. P.T. doctors and nurse practitioners can be very good but we really need better doctors that have patience with their patients.
I have learned to keep my stenosis managable with everyday stretching, lower back/ light weight workout, and aquatic PT. I am retired and have the time to manage my health and received alot of medical info from Dr's. and PT's. Bottom line..Keep Active. Good Day
I just want you both to know how much I appreciate your knowledge. I have referred to your videos often. I am 60, my lower back and hips have become a big problem for me. I sit most of the day and I know I should move more and walk. I am fearful this morning, after a sleepless night, that I will never feel better and that it is too late. Should I start with an orthopedic doctor? Thank you.
You have saved my life. Thank you. I know this video is older but I felt bad for you having to do this while people talked nonstop in the background. As an ADHD person it was distracting but you visuals and way of explaining things is amazing.
Thank you for the video Doc! My concern is that I have been having swelling on top of the right SI joint causing pain in my gluts and imbalance by making the right leg longer. This has resulted in having numbness in knees and whole calf area. I have been doing therapy and stretches & strengthing exc twice a day from past 3 weeks. Also have done a course of oral steroids. how can i make this better and not feel worse everyday?
I love watching these two guy's. Their video's are very very informative. I have many of the things they talk about, but don't know who or where to go to get help. I have been fighting chronic pain for about 30 year's. Thank you guys for sharing your expert knowledge online for all of us!! I am very greatful to you both....
I appreciate you guys soo much, I've felt the cold water trickling all sorts of weird sensation I was so scared thanks to your informative videos I've been doing about 80% better your a god send. 😘😘🤗🤗
So what about pain in the hip. That causes discomfort sometimes extreme when you bend the hip to the point of sitting down. When you just have to straighten the leg out. Also have low back issues.
I have lower back pain when I walk sometimes like mowing the lawn, feels like it's in my tail bone but up some towards the lower back region. Usually if I bend my back it helps kinda crack it and release some of the pain. Idk what it is
When I do the slump test and lift my left leg I feel a sharp pain on the right lower back and hip. Would that still be nerve? Or would it be a muscle issue?
Bob and Brad you taught me a few things that may be causing my pain ..Won't go into my symptoms cause we would need a longer page ... I'm going to start using your different ways of some what detecting what's causing this or that ...Bless you both 🙏🏻🙏
-you just helped me identify--it’s the SI joint-for sure. Thanks. Been going on for years-getting old sux=====your humor does a great job on a broken heart. Thanks for doing these
My hip hurts when I run and after it hurts in the right lower back area and sometimes get minor cramps in my right leg. What would you say this is a muscle strain or bone problem because you said muscle problems are isolated but my doctor said my piriformis muscle is causing this. Would you agree?
me too! R hip pain after running and low R back pain more recently. I don't get any cramps in my leg though. PT thought all my pain was coming from L4-5 and maybe facet pain. but I don't think she really assessed me very much so I have my doubts!
Thanks for the great and informative information! Many times your videos can really relieve a persons anxiety when they realize they have an issue that is solveable or with your instruction then they can work around it or do self help till it gets better.

This was literally the most critical video you two have done yet---so awesome, thank you, thank you! I've had it all--herniated discs, facet joint issues, AVN (had hips removed), and on and on. What has gotten me through it is ongoing PT. You've shown me some new ones, though, which have been invaluable.
when injured or feels something painful
others: goes to the hospital
me: search for the famous pt in the internet
Sometimes the ER is not helpful. Personally, it's never been helpful because they never know what's wrong with me. 😩🤷🏽♀️
Vincent Rabuyo me and you both lol
Every time I go to the doctor they send me to three different places and they all say something different, then at the end of it all I am just spending money
@@joshhutchins5961 some says it's pinched nerve, some says hip arthritis. Symptoms I feel: hamstring is very tight, causing hip pain, when sit for than 15-20 min. Pain shifts to back & causing backpain, early morning low back stiffness. I am also spending the money & eating a anti inflammatory food as much as possible. Get well soon :)
After few months of seeking a back pain treatment, I`ve finally found the best back pain guide for me known as MyBackPain7.blogspot.com
Because it helped my back pain, I`ve got no difficulty sleeping any more. Very glad with this particular guide. It`s firm and just what I was seeking.
I love these boys. Their chemistry and delivery is amazing. Also, they genuinely seem like a couple of nice dudes.
This is the best jingle I've ever heard in my life! Thank you for this! Also thanks for all the shared info here!! Exactly what I was looking for!
That signature song is priceless

You gents have shown so much information in a mere 12 minutes. I'm saving this video to watch over and over. Thank you.

Thank you!
Yaaaass !!! This is what I'm looking for..I have back pain and hips pain. When I move in bed I get severe pain.
Did you find out what exactly was wrong? Was it your SI joint?
248...? :)
5 years ago I had severe low back pain like a knife in my spine for about 2 weeks and could barely walk.
It works! 😀
It feels so good to watch a peacetime and pre-Covid video. And you're explaining how all the muscles and nerves come into play very well, too.

Finally a real video on the topic. Other videos don't really provide any insight. Very well done! And you are some likeable individuals.
How did you fix it?!!?
Great team, you work well together and have great chemistry! I’m laying here on hard floor with feet slightly elevated to try and relieve massive pain. Searched this video to infect try and determine what I have before I see the doctor. Thanks for this!🙏

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Because of your great videos & simple ways of explaining things, I was able to pin point my back, hip & leg pain from a car wreck to my SI Joint.
After 7 months of visiting one specialist after another with the wrong diagnosis I'm now on to treatments that are actually helping thanks to Bob & Brad.
What kind of treatment did you have? How are you doing now?
I am in excruciating pain all day, every day. I'm a disabled vet and I've had 4 lumbar surgeries. 2 were fusions. My pain now goes from my lumbar around my hip and to my groin area. Occasionally it does that and goes down the front of my leg to my knee. I'm at a loss as to what it is. I appreciate your video as it helps me semi self diagnose what's going on. Thank you and God bless.
poor you I find this sort of pain very debilitating
As a Vet (ty) can you continue a mild exerecise program, the the VA might be able to find one for you. I will pray for some relief for you.
@@maryc5052 Thank you so very much. I truly appreciate the prayers.
God bless you young man thank you for your service. I pray that you get relief from your pain
WOW 😮 that’s soo young to have so much pain & have to endure so many surgeries
Are you getting enough elemental minerals and vit c to build healthy bones?
❤
@ Kristina Knapp I want to thank you for sharing your story. I'm in so much excruciating pain I can't hardly walk. I don't understand a lot of this. I'm scared beyond belief. I was supposed to have a Via disc minimal surgeries two weeks apart. My insurance company said I was approved. This was back in March I got approved. Then I got a call in less than a week before the surgeries were to take place that my insurance company was not going to pay for it. I got an MRI scan and my lower spine is collapsing. I have degenerate disc disease and pinched nerve. I don't know what to do. Could you please send me a post here
And I'll check it.

Ugh. I hate getting old.
yes - me too
I juat had cortisone in SIJ. It's not that!
ALL the time!! Either pull apart or squeeze my hips!
Sometimes I would to hit my hip with hammer
Yes! At 21 I suffer pretty strongly with it.
Two great experts have wonderfully explained the exercises. Great to learn. Thank you for the information.
Omg these stretches are like magic my back feels so good after
No lie. I just performed all of what you showed, step by step on myself in mid workout and fixed my issue by pressing a couple of giant knots wedges between my glut, lower back and hip type area.
Holy crap, thank you. 😇🙏
Pressing how?
This was fantastic and helped me understand which pain it was associated. My issue is SI joint pain. Now I can address it properly.
Bob, rooting for your full recovery. Thank you for all the helpful information. God bless

This is very helpful. I've had lower back pain for 6 months now (at age 31). Excited to see the treatment videos!
Did it work????
Did you heal?
Brad: "It's called a straight leg raise because you do it with a straight leg."
Me: Wooooooooaw..
These 2 guys have saved me so many times with their instructions and stretches
You are truly the best PT in the internet !

You are a beautiful strong person. Your story made me cry for what you have dealt with and what you will face. Keep your positive attitude, like you had said there are others out there that have it worse than you... This is what I tell myself as well when I just want to give up.

How are you doing with that hip pain? Did it go away?
I've been struggling with back pain for almost 5 years. I've accommodated my life so that I can function around it. This video is really helpful. After doing the tests I think it's the SI. I broke my tailbone twice years ago. Could that be a cause? You guys are great!
yep sacrum ,ans SI worse pain you can have ...im hearing you
thanks for this informative video. one last tip: many conditions can co-exist, so if a patient has pain that refers to the thigh, down to the knee, the patient may have ilio-tibial band syndrome with another muscle spasm higher up in the back.
remember not to rush to the diagnosis without good history and examination.
And hello....blood clots and a history of dvt should really be considered. So the whole body and soul of the patient should be considered and a good doctor does this. P.T. doctors and nurse practitioners can be very good but we really need better doctors that have patience with their patients.
I had shoulder pain
Did the exercise well still do pain is gone shoulder working good now
You Guys are spot on

Yes. Had total hip replacement surgery 8 weeks ago.
Thank you for teaching me the differences in what to look for when having pain. I never understood this but it makes sense now.
Idk what it is
I have the same exact thing
Do you have duck feet?
When I do the slump test and lift my left leg I feel a sharp pain on the right lower back and hip. Would that still be nerve? Or would it be a muscle issue?
Bob and Brad you taught me a few things that may be causing my pain ..Won't go into my symptoms cause we would need a longer page ... I'm going to start using your different ways of some what detecting what's causing this or that ...Bless you both 🙏🏻🙏
