- The Fine Bros (FBE) had the Kids react to mega stars KISS, one of the best selling rock bands in history. You saw my takes on Iron Maiden and Metallica. Here's my take on KISS.

The best KISS moment was when they helped solved mysteries with Scooby-Doo.
My Childhood...
lildballin86 and when they were in the fairly Oddparents
Fuck yeah
Mine is the show My Dad The Rock Star. I'm not a Kiss-fan, but always stay thankful to Gene Simmons for the fun time I had with the cartoon co-created by him.
As I said in the Kid's React comment section...they should let the kids react to that cartoon not too long after this ^^
lildballin86
Yes! For the longest time I couldn't figure out if that was real or just a dream I had when I was little lol
Beethoven's music was also very loud. He must suck then
Hehehe
I like your profile picture.

Brent Reznor was my favorite Justice Avenger Sevenfold.

Jesus Christ Yeah but how about that scene where the sponge and the starfish almost dried to death? That scene made me cry.
Top 5 Things Said In Kids React to rock/metal group
1.) The guitarist is really good!
2.) It's too loud.
3.) Why is their hair like that?
4.) It sounds the same.
5.) I don't like this, I like stuff like pop better.

GregtheSalad, I’m not even a huge Metallica fan (anymore), and that hurt me.
Anyone remember that one time in Infinity War when Darth Vader comes in and saves the day??? Man that shit was crazy.

One of the most prominent lessons I learned in my time as stage crew : If you hear the pyro guy say anything that remotely sounds like "oops" you go in the opposite direction of the sound.
Good advice, thank you bro

And the saddest moment with kiss was when Eric Carr died of heart cancer, he was such a good drummer I say he’s one of the best of the 80s
F in the chat he was so good
With heart cancer the universe must have it out for you
We need these damn kids to react to Judas Priest
How about Rammenstien?
Trevor Phillips Hey T
Michael De Santa hey sugar tits 😂
Trevor Phillips Can you stop calling me that?
Darth Ciliatus that would be hard for them so watch
“I want to rock and roll all night, and part of everyday”.
Great line from Role Models.
kitoyobeni1 I usually have errands... I can only rock from like 1 to 3.
Everyone in KISS except Gene dies in Infinity war
Aidan Foley he could be right, we don’t know what happened to KISS when Thanos snapped his fingers.
I can't believe Thanos used the Time Stone to resurrect Eric Carr and kill him again
ToruKun1 good joke but it’s sort of hard to laugh since he died of heart cancer and infinity war is only a movie.
That's a shame.
Gene created the infinity stones
I loved the part where Darth Maul appeared in Infinity War
FarOOOOOOOqi eh?
They should make a po boxe for Syd so we can send her albums because that kid has potential
Yeah, because the internet couldn't possibly send some weird non music stuff to a child haha. But legit sending her the likes of Tool would be awesome
Obviously monitored by the react team (dumbass)
I know I know I was joking jesus
What do the ladies think when the tongue goes out like that?
Fun fact about Paul Stanley's makeup:
It wasn't even him who designed it, it was actually Ace because Paul couldn't manage to come up with a good enough design on his own.
5:40 I've been told I have a Gene Simmons tongue.
That is all I will say.
TheBlackKnight1o1 Then I’ll just say congratulations are in order-good on you, mate
So you're a hit with the ladies.
Fellas...?
Well spoken! I've never cared much for KISS, as you say their songs sound pretty much the same, but their showmanship is supreme. Saw them as the closing act at a festival once and all I can remember is rocking out with a stupid grin on my face. It was ridiculous, over the top, and so much fun.
When kiss was in the fairly oddparents
hi how are u and Scooby Doo
Wait... If Kiss was in Fairly Oddparents, and they were in Scooby Doo, does that mean they share the same universe?
Kiss saves Santa
hi how are u I remember that episode
Clippy Paperclip family guy
We need to start a petition to get these kids to react to dream theatre!
Someone did
Remember in infinity wars when Kiss came in and saved Santa?
I am 14 years old and I am obsessed with KISS🤘❤️
Same

I'd like to coin the term "goodplistic"; it means you're doing simple stuff, but you're so good at it.
AC/DC
Exactly
You know, I´d be extremely interested seeing you do a series, where you take a closer look in some band, analyze their music, live performance, overall production and progression, commercial success and tell your opinion about them + why you think they were/were not successful.
It would also be a somewhat original & durable idea and I´d believe your fanbase would enjoy it. I certainly would.
Arttu Norhio this sounds like a great idea I would also love to see this
KISS - hotter than hell was the first record I bought with my own money, me and my older brother used to perform for our parents in the living room with make-up. Lucky us having parents that was big rock fans with favourite bands like Led Zep, Budgie, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Rush, ABBA, Cream etc. so they enjoyed watching us rock out! :) Good memories.
Best of luck with ur transition into a full time youtuber, been with u for around a little less than a year
K N I wish him nothing but success. UA-cam is iffy right now though.
I spit out my coffee imagining Richard Simmons jumping around on stage and spitting out blood.
Honestly, I'd pay to see it.
kiss is actually one of my all time fav bands like i love themmmm
Glad to see you’re pursuing what you want to do man. Keep it up

I don't know if this is true, but I think the whole point of 70s Glam Rock was not really a gay thing(I'm NOT homophobic, just to tell you all), but rather just to create an image that would appeal as less boring and more eye catching.
Mike, please react to Kiss Guy at Foo Fighters concert
Detroit Rock City was the first song I heard on the way home from the hospital when my daughter was a newborn, she's now three and it's her favorite song. When I was younger and Yahoo chat or whatever it was popular my mom and her friends would do karaoke on the weekends and I would sing "I wanna rock n' roll" everytime. 😂
Awe, that's sweet
By the way joe swanson walks in infinity war ;)

Alice Cooper is probably the best "Shock" artist

"I guess i shouldnt have done dabs right before touching explosives" 😂😂😂😂 best fucking thing I've heard yet
Didn't Ace have the best selling solo album out of all the other band members when they each did a solo album?
Ron Buckley yep and for a good reason, that album rules!!
The Raul Guerrero G fuck yeah it does
He also had the best single out of the heavy criticized though personal favorite album. The Elder.
Arnold Jose Sandoval The Elder is an amazing album imo
Ace's post KISS albums are also the best selling compared to Paul's and Gene's newer solo albums (Live to Win and Asshole) as well as Bruce Kulick's, Mark St John's, Vinnie Vincent's, and Peter Criss' post KISS recordings and he is still recording new music all the time! Ace rules!
ffs Mike, I was listening to Judas Priest's "Sad Wings of Destiny", this better be good.
We smash through the clouds into the light of the moon!
lol @ Richard Simmons in KISS makeup. ;)
Seriously tho.. that analysis about the makeup being timeless was brilliant. I had never considered the ageless factor.. only the lack of identity factor (as represented by Ghost with the Nameless Ghouls). Thank you for that additional perspective to add to my repertoire.
As for them removing their makeup.. I think the album 'Lick it up' was probably their hardest album.. and interestingly their first w/o the makeup if I remember correctly. Tho I am not a huge fan I do have the utmost respect for what they added to the genre in general. How many people.. do you think.. would not exist today.. had there been no KISS?
Peace
As a die-hard fan of KISS, I can totally agree with the fact that their music is, by and large, not the best. But having recently gone to my first concert, which was KISS, it also is true that their show is one you will never forget. Another thing they did extremely well, made a show and brand that is marketable to any age. At that concert I saw people as old as 80 and as young as 4, all decked out in face paint and having the time of their lives. My point is, whether you're a mega-fan who's heard all their songs like me, or a casual listener, you gotta admit, KISS is one of the most successful and recognizable bands of all time.
KISS Saves Christmas!
Good times, goooood times...
I remember back in middle school band class, our director sat down and told a story about this band that he met back when he played trumpet in a traveling jazz band. He said that a lot of the members weren’t better than the members of his band, except for maybe the guitarist, but they still played alright. They told his band about how they were going to dress up in cat makeup for an upcoming show. His band of course thought it was was stupid, but little did they know that that band was Kiss and after that show would get really really famous.
Don’t know how true that story was but I always enjoyed it, seemed to fit this episode pretty well.
👏🏻
So this is humanity's future? Damn pop culture kids.
Great all around analysis Mike, happy that you have made the decision to do UA-cam full time, and I hope that your channel grows exponentially in time!
I love how Mike roasts some of these little kids 😆
personally feel that Alice Cooper did shock value better than KISS
Mark Macfie agreed 100%. Was never a huge kiss or Alice fan but if it was a life or death decision I’d choose Alice. Black sabbath have more shock value than kiss and Alice combined
KISS isn't shocking just Gene specifically for spitting blood the shock ends there Alice takes the shock much further than that one trick pony
I always enjoy your React to the React of Fine Bros and Rock/Metal music. KISS was the band that got me into hard rock and was an influence in my Haunted House work, 20 years strong. But my Mom who is blind got me into them, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, Dio, Scorpions, AC DC Iron Maiden Judas priest Metallica to later I got her into "newer" stuff like Iced Earth Blind Guardian and Ghost. Which I think Ghost will be the big band of Today, But KISS could be a band that could go on with all new members if they evolve it and I think there the only ones that could do it. But I like them to do Kids react to Alice Cooper with his horror theater. Alice KISS and Ozzy still going strong too. Rock On sir love a Rocker's point of view of these stuff.
I’m always enjoy watching your videos! It’s cool honest thoughts!
Talking to a buddy on the phone he told me about this video... Enjoyed watching/listening, and the whisky on ice made me subscribe. (LOVE)
9:19 Mike now has the power of refilling his drink without even moving
Been to two Kiss shows and they were awesome!
Paul Stanley is a great frontman
Dude I fucking love your videos and style. I just found you the other day and I can’t stop watching . Keep it up!
I absolutely love these react videos. Been waiting a long as time for FBE to do some kickass music react for a long time...
am I the only one here who loves KISS? they are my favorite band lol
Christian MetalHead Peter criss is one of my favorite drummers
Dee Boii hell yeah
Christian MetalHead I've always loved how he keeps things simple he's like Ringo star he plays for the song he's been a huge influence on my playing
KISS is amazing. Im surprised a lot of people especially a lot of my generation who grew up to Grunge, Metallica, Nu Metal etc Are only familiar with Rock N Roll all night and Detroit Rock City. KISS has so many good stuff from their first 3 albums. Ace Frehley is actually big influence on a lot of guitarists of 90s and 00s bands. Their album Creatures of the Night also their best 80s album heavy and drums with Eric Carr badass!
My favorite band too. KISS kicks ass musically and theatrically
I have a very important music related question.
Does it djent?
Cade Cass tee hee
Kiss is the real definition of djent
Cade Cass I
Very, very important question. We all wanted the answer to that.
the meme is alive
Aw miss you. I forgot about your channel for a while I'm happy I found it in my feed again.
That sounds like a fun project for your channel: Evolution of bands along the years, going through album to album.
10:15 That's what I said when talking to my friend about Reggae today. And I say it applies to Kiss, and folk music.
I know when I was a kid I commented on my dad's music being loud, kids, kind of in general, stop thinking that way when they hit 12-13. I will say it wasn't Kiss that I grew up on, my father was more into Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, ELP, Jethro Tull, etc. but some friends and I did sing "I Wanna Rock & Roll All Night" at prom, I think that was my senior year, so, that would've been in 2003... I don't think I discovered Kiss till 2001 or 2002. Love all your videos.
The Rock n Roll all night vid was taken from the 1987 Kiss Exposed home video
On the forever young point, you reminded me of something Bruce Dickinson said about Eddie being on the cover of their albums being able to hide their age. I wish I remembered the quote.
They should've showed them Black Diamond, like that song is amazing and really shows that Peter Criss was the best vocalist of the band.
Absolutely. Take the Kiss brand and personas out of the equation, play "Black Diamond" and have a random sample of rock musicians and fans rate the song. I think it stands alone as a great rock song. I'm not a Kiss fan per se but of course a lot of their music has been part of the soundtrack of my life. Most of their music sucks to me but I still love a lot of their songs. Black Diamond is by far my all-time favorite. Peter Criss was the force and voice behind it. P.S. Fuck Gene Simmons.
I need to see KISS's end of the road tour this year.
Paul is bisexual so you can meet him later gene called my city a shithole because he had to pay for sex what a joke they call you doctor love ha ha ha I have to laugh they ate at my friend's restaurant if they knew what he said they will spit in his food and they have been to Adelaide at least ten. Times kiss are whores who want your money not you.
Dude you gotta keep doing this kind of videos, people including myself seem enjoy your opinions on bands!
haha I knew Mike would be all over this. BTW - best of luck to you Mike in making this your full-time career!
When I was too young to connect any dots and like barely able to speak to make myself understood I somehow was drawn to KISS and Gene particulary every time there was a performance by them on TV. Gene Simmons scared the living shit out of me like running away crying... Yet I kept coming back to watch them (him) more. A scare attraction I guess.
Same, actually. It's kind of like where it's startling at first, but then you have time to process it, and it grows on you.
Hey, Mike can you do a music reaction live stream, where you get suggestions from the chat, and react to them live without any notes. Just raw reactions.
Mike, that section about colors was super insightful. You should do an entire video about it.
"*drinks* you be a fucking man" 😭😭😭😭 I couldn't stop laughing
kids don't know system of a down?...
still no?
I don't get it, he did almost every other kids react. He even did this one, after the system of a down...
It's because he already did an 'Elders React to System of a Down' video at the end of 2016.
Because since Mike talks about the bands, he'd repeat himself, he is not only here to react to the kids.
No
Zebes 26 he released a 5 second video regarding this in which the only word he said was "no"
The Red Letter Media reference made my week
One of the best moments on your channel ever “‘No please do throw up blood. Its fucking badass”
I remember reading an awesome book "Heavy metal thunder: Album Covers that Rocked the World" and exactly what you were saying at the end of your video was precisely what was in that book.
yesterday, Gene had a concert in Stockholm Sweden. He invited me and my friends up on stage on rock and roll all nite and grabbed my hand and I sang for the whole audience, and I'm 13. Look it up, "Gene Simmons Gröna Lund rock and roll all nite"
Kiss got lucky and had a businessman as a bass player, having Gene at the negotiating table, that got Kiss the best contracts ever, whereas other bands were just wanting a contract and would give all their rights away just to make an album.
everything you just said i wrong
Metal was always about expression, and about taking things to the next level, there's a reason the term "turn it up to eleven" exists. The term it originates from the fact that most amplifiers have up to 10 volume settings, taking it to 11 would pretty much translate to going over the top, going to the extreme, and just doing something crazy, something not common. It matters not if one is the calm "sit around, have a cold drink, and enjoy the music" type of metalhead (like me) , or the "all out headbanging party" type, in the end, we all feel the energy, and we all love it.
8:40 it's funny that Paul bullied Peter's Catman makeup when they were starting saying that Peter wasn't creative enough
Kiss Is One Of My Favourite Bands But I Still respect you and your opinions and I am also a huge fan of Metallica too
React to baby metal
He should react to "BABYMETAL Reacts to UA-camrs React to BABYMETAL."
I love that 1 second clip of mr plinkett talking about star trek nemesis but with a picture of a paul stanley costume at 8:35
I think it was Oderus that said in an interview "we weren't good enough to make it without wearing these silly costumes". Gotta respect showmanship. With that said, fuck kiss! All hail GWAR!
chris pratt is that you in disguise?

i agree with you i have much respect for everything kiss has done for rock and all the fans the tottaly deserve to be recognised they way they have been
just gonna go on ahead and say that i been watching your videos all morning but seeing you wear that tys merch made me go "oh hell yeah this dude really does get it" even more than i was already thinkin so went ahead and followed you on like... nye on everything
Why do the kids have Instagram
7:57 Part of this generation but i still agree.
The black/white thing you mentioned really made me remember Deep Purple in '74 California Jam. Ritchie Blackmore dressed all black, smashing the guitar on the camera and being a darker dude in general, contrasting with Glenn Hughes dressed in white, singing like crazy and with a whole other vibe to his performance. Coverdale was kinda awkward and even shy, but was singing his ass off, as was Glenn Hughes. Epic fucking concert!
What you said about the age and costumes... It was pretty smart! You are right :)
For me one big difference between say Alice Cooper and Kiss is that Alice has the songs to go along with the image. Kiss sold the image left right and centre but Alice Cooper had more iconic songs for me.
Detroit rock city 🤘🏻
ExtraChristo 78 👍
Disco blows goats for quarters
yes time for me to learn something new about music i cant wait to watch the video
i'm glad you are doing like a nice balance of adding some positive statements along negative, really tends to turn down the mood if one just looks at the negative. It's like, every band has its faults, but, even though we're aware of them, we all acknowledge them , one still has to look past it, and just look enjoy it for what it is.
I’m a huge Ace Frehley fan. And you’re right he’s not the best guitar player. He has his style and he sticks to it. But for the most part what you see is what you get with Ace. I don’t think he was holding back from letting loose with KISS as you called it. Looking at his work with KISS against his solo career, his technique and licks stayed the same. No matter what, when you hear him, you know it’s Ace. He did a huge service to KISS by giving them more style. His 50’s style rock licks brought a different edge to the band. Not to mention he wrote what a lot of fans call KISS’s best songs.
Ace can shred though quite well actually but that is just not his thing. Rather than him holding back he just does what he wants, shredding like EVH is not his style. Don't forget he is self taught and knows almost no theory. He worked his way up to be a good guitarist with just fucking around on the fretboard. KISS became shit after he left
Hell yeah, 360p
Whenever UA-camrs reference or bring up audio clips from RedLetterMedia it just makes my day
Good to see your at 122k now, i was probably first here when you were in the 70's
I like KISS.

Lmao
You stole that quote
Lol I don’t understand
Almost at 100k.......... ROCK ON!!
Maybe I'm overthinking too much, I never heard anything from Kiss, but they were part of my childhood without knowing that, one example "Jem and the holograms" LOL
