Hi there
When you say do the work I want to ask by your book course. I have been separated for 3 months after my wife left me. I met up with her yesterday and she said she has clarity and is fully disconnected from me and for me to let her go. I am so sad and cannot stop crying. I have no gone into no contact after trying last month and broke that. It’s so hard to do. It’s the hardest thing to do in my life. We have been together 14 years and married for the last 3.

@@stephencosta7219 so sorry you’re going through this Stephen. The thing that holds people back from working on themselves sometimes it’s extremely hard to focus on self reflection because you’re trying to figure out what just happened. Especially since you have been together for so long.
For some people it’s more important to become comfortable with your situation by listening to others similar stories also. When you visualize situation from outsiders perspective, it gives you insight on what you’ve been through and then you can piece puzzle together more easily.
The first step is trying to decide what type of attachment personality style that you are that will give you insight on how you got to where you are now.
It doesn’t happen right away you have to focus on learning the four attachment personality styles first and then you can look back at your personality style test, and when you read the characteristics of what your score is, you can relate more to yourself.
At that time, then you can focus on the characteristics of a secure, personality style, and know that if you can focus on becoming that type of person, you will only attract that type of person into your life.
Energy exchange is real, and karma does exist. A lot of people throw that word around just to be vengeful, but it really does come back in different forms at different times and when you least expect it.
Focus on providing positive energy so that you can get positive energy back. Let your ex go if they were the culprit and are giving out negative energy it will take care of itself you don’t have to worry.

Soon you will be comfortable as you recognize when you need to work on something. Time is on your side and another thing to learn is respecting her decision no matter how it hurts. Aim to calm down more and more each day. Take it one day at a time. Soon you will enjoy the freedom to do what you weren’t able to do when you were with her. It’s time to grow. Godspeed 🙏🏼
NC is not for the weak, its painful and a mix of emotions. The highs, lows, sad, happy. All while trying to move forward and taking care of yourself. Stay the course

Been in no contact for 4 months after she broke up with me, it was sudden and unexpected. We were only dating for a short period of time (something these videos never cover) but it's extremely important that I mention this as it will apply to many others on here. Unless you were in a long term relationship with this person, there is absolutely no way they are coming back so please don't get your hopes up high after watching these types of videos. Work on yourself and look forward to meeting someone new and better.

I removed her from my socials the day she started ghosting me (i know, childish). The next day I was admitted to the hospital for 5-days with a few medical conditions. I texted and called her, no response. It's been 2-months now. The fact that she didn't contact me after that just shows that I mean nothing to her. In other words, I know it in my heart that she's gone for good. I still wish her well. But wow, just like that, she's gone. It hurt more than I can put into words. It's a shame cos it would've been a 1-year relationship with her this month. Only god knows how much I loved her.

I haven't said one single word in probably 5+ years to my cheating ex. She's the one who's tried coming back for a few years. I haven't one single time. So no contact doesn't always work.
It worked for me because she tried coming back but it didn't work for her. She can rot in solitary confinement in her head for the rest of her life for losing a good man.
Every once in a blue moon I'll come onto these videos since CCK was someone who helped me out back then.
But lowkey she broke no contact so technically she didn’t maintain it and I assume the whole no contact thing is usually for the person that was dumped or treated badly as you’d be the one to mostly maintain it.
She passed away 2 months ago, I never got to see her again.

Update: 2 days ago, i said that i know my ex is not coming back, and the surprise was that she unblocked me the same day i said that in the comments.Believe it or not, but that just happened 2 days ago. i got unblocked after 7 months of being blocked, and she did send me a message, but i didn't replied because i was also blocking her at the same time

I went no contact with mine in September and went on with my life with a great mindset of healing and just simply moving on to new things. Right before Christmas he slipped a card and note in my mailbox. I was shocked. I guess he found a way to be able to reach out and test the waters (the cat 🤣). We have been talking ever since. About 7 weeks no contact after a 5.5 year relationship and engagement… I think he fears intimacy and commitment. We agreed on our wedding venue and two days later he became unsure then broke up with me about 3 weeks later/decided he didn’t want to be with me at all then blamed everything on me.

@REstelle92 Same here, told me at first that I was the problem, then after a week made the break up official and said I was amazing and wonderful. Tried to keep me around, I said the man that inspired me is now gone, so I let him go. Gave him my moving on list. He was shocked, no contact for 2 months now. I love him but I love myself more 😅

Day 27 of NC. I agreed to friendship for the first month (because he genuinely wanted friendship since we were friends before the relationship) but cut it off, telling him that friendship wasn't enough for me. We were both each other's first, and I think he had unrealistic expectations; he said he lost that "spark" and thought that meant that the relationship had to end.
I think I'm finally open to other relationships, but I'm still leaving the door open for him. I think I still love him, but I respect myself enough not to accept mere friendship.

Odds are they are not coming back. While coach Craig has some very helpful insight on attachment styles and how you can become a better partner, when it comes to this, I believe they very rarely come back. My ex left me for another guy just over a year ago (after obviously saying there was no one else) and got engaged only 9 months later. Don’t hold out hope, but rather just keep moving forward and do the best you can every day to remind yourself that if you did things right, what more can you ask for.
And when they do come back, odds are it will not work out again. And the pain just resets.
Im only 2 wks into No Contact. Have been here before and watched Craigs videos. I was an improved ME for this relationship. But we were opposites where communication was key. 3 times in an 11 month relationship we broke up for afew days, only to get back together. She has a weight issue...saying if she gained 3 stone i wouldn't find her desirable or want to have sex as much. I said, im in love with YOU...whether you lost a leg or gained weight, im in love with YOU. Im so shocked at her ended what was such a loving and wonderful 11 months. I had issues of my own...like not feeling i deserved happiness and slightly ruining perfect weekends away like Lake District and London. But there is such a strong bond. Im now back running and exercising. I have a wonderful family, my own home and great job. More importantly...i know my self worth. After a year itogether in September my ex-girlfriend and I went our separate ways after we couldn't meet on common ground when it came to her alcohol use. I wanted to do counseling together about it and she did not.
1 November is when my no contact started when she told me the guy she had been dating for a month was starting to get serious.
I've learned a lot in this short amount of time. Particularly when it was 8 months before I met her children and was around them for a year and a half. And now all of them are already living with the much older guy she moved in with her. The sting for me was the attachment to the children who are 10 and 12 that I had a tight bond with
If anything it's been more of an incentive to go no contact and not reach out.
Use these videos to work on yourself the same way you would as if you're going to the gym. I say that because I'm honest enough to tell myself that my baseline attachment style is an anxious one. And that watching the videos and doing the work will help achieve a secure attachment style.

I hope you guys can rub this in my face one day down the line months from now or years but my ex is NEVER coming back! She told me she never goes back to an Ex once she breaks up with them. I'd like for her to come back. But she got proposed to in Paris. She said it was her dream proposal. She also said she is going to have the wedding of the year. She had her dream proposal she said on her Facebook. I'm such a fool for letting this go and I wanted to marry her more than anything. I just wasn't quite ready. I've tore myself apart so much. I'm working on myself. I don't understand how people find other people after a break up so fast.

I saw my ex grocery shopping. Recently. First time. In 2 years. We never talked. But. She looked nervous. And. For the first time. After. Doing the workbooks. I did not. Get anxious, when seeing her
My wife and I had a baby and that’s when she went downhill and separated (not legally) and it’s been since Nov 26, and not sure how to do NC when we have an 8th month old daughter. She is being completely ignoring of me and my feelings. She avoids the conversation and says “I don’t have the energy for this” and now I don’t bring it up, but when we go out I make her laugh and have a great time with our daughter.
Together for 4,5 years - lived together 4 of Them, went on vacations together and with her family, all Christmas with her fam aswell, such a strong connection and Bond, with her and family.. and still i dont Think she come back, 4 months since breakup and ive done all mistakes beside handwritten letter… blown up her phone right after news year.. and when it Got to much i talk with her sister and i know i shouldnt..

I find that the attachment style tests are pretty effective the first time. But despite the best intentions, most people who tested insecurely attached normally went and did a lot of research and learning in the meantime and they learn the definitions of each attachment style and what attitudes and behaviours to develop that create secure attachment. When taking follow up tests, people know the right things to say and once you know what the answers are it becomes impossible almost to be 100% genuine in your test answers, either as because they’re cheating, or just wishful thinking, or that they have learnt what the secure behaviours are but haven’t accepted them and committed to change just yet.
When you say 'most people', could you please provide evidence for your claims?
@@bullishwhizz422 For starters I was referring to those who took the test more than once, but neglected to specify. Reading it back it does come across a tad presumptuous. However consider the characteristics of each attachment style and you can make a pretty educated guess which is the most common test result. Securely attached people are less likely to be testing in the first place, or even visiting the kind of websites that offer attachment style testing. Of course they could be there out of curiosity or perhaps they are in a relationship with someone who is insecurely attached and they want to learn how best to support their partner. If they know already that they're securely attached then I cannot imagine they'd feel the need to test themselves once, let alone twice. So you can probably remove them from the equation. Out of the insecurely attached lot, well frankly, don't expect people with avoidant attachment to even show up. They are typically the least self aware and generally reluctant to do the introspection. Unless they had a special reason to be taking (of course there will be the rare few who are wanting to heal their insecure attachment, but they really are the minority) the test then it's very unlikely they'll be taking any test. Not once, not twice, not at all! Those with an anxious attachment style are by their nature open-minded and hopeful for finding solutions and prepared to do the work to heal from past traumas and grow. The anxiously attached rely on their partner for some of their validation and the style is associated with codependence. Finding and fixing problems and challenges facing their relationship is what the anxious attached excel at. By contrast those with a dominant avoidant attachment will excel at.......well.....avoiding things. If an avoidant went along with a test I'd be very surprised. If they came and re-sat a second test then I'd swear it was a mirage.
I'm therefore willing to bet that the majority of 2nd test participants are more likely to have an anxious attachment style.

i know mine isn't coming back. it's our second breakup. he dumped me and blocked me from everything. it hurts a lot
It’s about 9 months since my ex suddenly walked out and then ghosted me. We were together 5 years and she was the love of my life. She agreed to meet me one month after she had left, after ignoring / ghosting me. Then when we met handed me a contract to sign and told me it was over. No explanation. She went back to ghosting me. I let her collect her things from the house over 4 weeks when I was out. When she came to collect the last of her things I was home and confronted her and asked to talk. She just told me she wasn’t respected, and kept laughing in my face, as I was in tears. I have never loved or respected someone as much as her, and never will again because I am broken. I think about ending my life, because I can’t live with these thoughts anymore.
Whoever you are, you matter. You are important. You will get through this, God is close to the brokenhearted. Ive experienced a broken heart before. It was an 8 year relationship. I just clung onto God and sought healing and trust me years from now you won't even remember how it feels. I know it's so so difficult, but nothing you can't conquer. Love yourself and work on yourself. Put yourself first. You will attract the right person. Please don't hurt yourself. I'm sure there's many people in your life that love you and care for you. Girl I liked stopped talking to me since I made a minor mistake which she didn’t like, begged and bugged her for 5 months straight, finally after going no where with her and realizing from multiple videos that I was only making things worse and irritating her more and more each day, that I had to stop, been in no contact for 4 months now, in total been apart from her for 9 months now, it’s been hard as heck, especially with my anxious attachment, have been told by close friends and fam to just move in and start dating but honestly it wouldn’t feel right to me, still having feelings for this girl, I’ll continue on no contact and I’ll keep working on my self since I did make some mistakes, hopefully she’ll somehow see the change even during no contact!

@@isaacjimenez136after 4 month I would reach out for her. she doesnt know whats up with you. if you cover your contact attempt with a question, only she can answer, you also will have a reason to talk to her. No contact is only to build you up, not to never talk to them again! If you feel comfortable and save, reach out.

@@BllyRy. she ended up reaching out 3 months ago during no contact, she acknowledged that the way she had treated me wasn’t the right way and asked me to please forgive her, took a few hours to respond, after I forgave her tho she said she wished my family and I were doing well and that she wished the best for me and my family, she then proceeded to block me before I could respond 🤷🏽♂️ I was left shocked I wasn’t expecting that but, at this point it’s just whatever, if shes gonna come back then I got my expectations now.
So you say that they will or at least there's a high likelihood they'll be back. But then you reinforce the idea that they won't. That's why we do the work cause then we'd be able to blow someone else away. Why would someone say that their ex isn't going to be back? Mine hasn't.

good question. I was in a 6 month relationship that wasn't working. she moved on and is currently in a new relationship for just as long and seems far happier and way more committed. I don't think she will come back, personally and I'm moving on with life as if she isn't.
at the end, the longer the relationship and more memories made, the more the likelihood they will come back.

Me and ex that dated for a year.l talked after a month of NC. I reached out. We got into it. Cause she said that she was out of the relationship four prior to making it official. Felt used after all the things I did for her in those four months.
She said that she’s still attracted to me but I’m not her person because we’re not on the same page (she want me to propose to her within that yr and I need at least two yrs). She can’t express how really feels towards me. Skip it, then answer another question I asked. She said that she wants to be “platonic” when she trying to heal her mental health and be alone. I turned down that offer and went NC again.

Mines broke up with me in November and got into a rebound(we been together for 7 years) with a guy that liked her in middle school(he's my complete opposite) long story short, NONE of her immediate family likes the guy at all and they all are just disappointed in her and how she's treating me. Everyone sees how bad this dude is for her except her. They both get high 24/7, he's addicted to nicotine, they already wanted to get married and he trys to be wirh her 24/7. She claims she's "so happy" with him but was cheating on him with me multiple times and even stayed at my house a few times and talked so much crap about him but I guess she "fell for him" on Christmas day(complete BS, it was because she was with her family) and decided to stay with him. I nearly told the dude that hes getting played because i felt so heartbroken but decided not to. I dropped off EVERYTHING that has to do with her to her house and her family have just been so supportive of me especially her mom and grandma because they really dont like him and just want us to workout. Last night, I went to her sisters baby shower and we locked eyes a couple of times and she even blew a kiss at me...strange

The best mindset is fuck them. Make yourself into the person you were working towards, which will happen even faster without them dragging you down. They will feel the loss and maybe if they come back begging, you'll possible guve them a chance.
Avoidants are not worth the hassle
That is pretty much exactly true it is repeating behavior patterns.
Fearful avoidant people fear abandonment and commitment hence that's why the married affair partner isn't going to release the marriage until they monkey branch into the new relationship.
(This is also true with dismissive avoidant personality type people as well)
Dismissive avoidant personality type people have a fear of commitment with an underlying fear of abandonment but keep the fear of abandonment hidden except for when they have affairs.
A secure attachment personality type person doesn't have a fear of abandonment they just end the relationship and or marriage no problem.
Very important to recognize the four attachment nersonalitv stvles in existence every single person fits into one of the four categories:
1. Pre Occupied Anxious Attachment Personality
Style stands for I'm afraid of abandonment and I second guess myself. I can't make it on my own and I'm a people pleaser and I let people walk all over me as long as they don’t leave me alone. Some people refer to me as an empath without healthy boundaries.
2. Secure Attachment Personality Style stands for I’m okay being on my own, I'm okay being in a relationship as well. Now you know they are capable of engaging in affairs, it's up to you if you want to invest your time money emotions your life into that.

If you know they're authentically a secure person by themselves you won't have to worry about them having an affair.
