I'm glad you got this gig and I'll be watching you for a while. Peace love and rock and roll.✌️❣️🤘
Isn’t no trombone mate, it’s the guitarist playing the guitar with a violin bow
Page is God. God is Page. They are one and the same.
This should be taught in every school across the globe.
I think you mean The Guitarist a.k.a. Jimmy Page. He didn't play around when it came to playing the guitar!😛😀
A cello bow, the violin's bow is too small.
Jimmy Page made a deal with the devil. No one knows what Jimmy got, but the devil got a guitar lesson.
Lead singer Robert Plant was 19 years old when zep did this masterpiece.
Dude, really?! That’s so sick! 🤟🏻
I’d like to see them react to Greta Van Fleet.

@@codyhayden455 Not so fast friend---- > Jeke Holmes "Dazed And Confused"
ua-cam.com/video/pTsvs-pAGDc/v-deo.html
Holmes recorded this in 1967 Wikipedia quote from "Dazed and Confused (song)"
"Holmes attempted to contact Page in the 1980s regarding the songwriting credit, but received no response. In 2010, Holmes filed a lawsuit and the matter was settled out of court, with the credit on Led Zeppelin releases being changed to "Jimmy Page, inspired by Jake Holmes".
More--->"The original album credited Page as the sole composer; Holmes sued for copyright infringement in 2010 and an out-of-court settlement was reached the following year."
"How are they doing it?"
With talent, without autotune, with real instruments in a recording studio playing the parts just like they do in front of a crowd. They are one of the legendary bands. I know it blows your mind, but music used to be organic and most modern music (especially hip hop) is recycling but to be fair, it's a continuous cycle, these legendary bands were also inspired by previous legends.
The lead singer lives near me. Regularly seen around our town , the same town where he grew up, he stopped and let us cross the road in front of him last month.
We just have him a nod of the head and he returned a smile.
He does a lot for our local college and their music department. Legend is not a big enough word for him. Read about led zeppelin, they had their own jumbo jet ✈️ before it was a thing!!!
No auto tune bullshit back then. Welcome to the Led Zepplin ride.
I get what you mean but since pretty much the inception of music recording the studio engineers have been able to manipulate and modulate the sounds. Led Zeppelin was definitely fine tuned in the studio, as is basically all professional music.
No body is like LED?........
🙄
"Play with your fucking heeeeeaaaaaarrrrttt!!!!" - Bill Hicks.
Can you believe that some reaction blamed the band for drowning out Robert Plant's vocals???? 😕
I'm a 75 year old woman, and I LOVE watching you get into the Classics! My son used to hate it when I made him listen to "my" music in the car, but now that he's grown he thanks me. He now loves all music.

Dude!! That's Jimmy Page playing guitar with a violin bow. He is one of the GOAT guitar players! John Bohham's drumming was out of this world! Robert Plant's voice is perfect and John Paul Jones' bass skills are totally underrated. He's one of the best! Hard to believe this song came out over 59 years ago - 1969!!
I just love all your reactions!!
He's using a cello bow
Led Zeppelin an all-time favorite. You guys are in for a treat. Try "What is and what should never be".
I'm a 58 year old white woman and you two are adorable. I'm so happy to see someone discover LZ for the first time. They were totally amazing. Some of the best music ever made. Just as good in concert. Robert Plant made me feel funny - tee hee!
Led Zeppelin is a British band that learned the blues by listening to Black music from America. They studied and appreciated it and created their own style. You will really enjoy reacting to their music because of their black blues foundation! I'm a black man that grew up in the 60s, 70s and 80s ... some of the greatest music ever made because everyone was learning from each other! Most importantly, we all had to learn had to take music and learn how to play some sort of instrument. I think this will get the younger generations back to making music with actual instruments and not with beats!
Dang Whittish bastards.(white British). Flippin' out black folk! British BLUES....
My man this isn’t blues. This is rock and they were the first to ever do it with this style of rock.
RaiD Frenzy CREAM was arguably the first but it had Paige, Clapton, and Beck so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
RaiD Frenzy, black folk invented rock & roll as well! Page played backup for the likes of Howlin' Wolf, Sonny Boy Williamson, Muddy Waters. And let’s not forget the influence of Hendrix. I’m just saying that Led Zeppelin’s clear influences were black blues artists ... and if you don’t think Plant sings in a blues style, I don’t know what to tell ya! Lol!
pxlmvr7 I can't remember if he mentioned Page specifically but Buddy Guy did a Ernie Ball Music Man interview where he mentioned British rockers coming to see him.
As far as the birth of Rock music, Ike Turner is credited as the first person to record a rock song in '51, then Chuck Berry in '55 helped make it popular along with Bo Diddley and Little Richard in '56. Chuck Berry had the biggest influence as his guitar licks show up in pretty much every rock solo ever.
As for Hendrix I believe he was the single biggest influence on blues-rock as he combined those elements as well as jazz into the Experience. If you look at the blues greats like BB King, Guy, Waters, and so on he took a little bit of everything made it his own.
I was 14 years old when Days and Confused came out I’m 65 now and I’m still Dazed and Confused

All of the above & more..That was music..People actually playing instruments..Not this fake computer genersted stuff you hear on the Radio these days.
Good job you two. You nailed it. You recognized it in eight seconds. The blues is the root of all music. Zeppelin, Clapton, worshipped blues players like Robert Johnson. They did tribute songs to him. So great to see young people who have real music runnin' through their veins. We people recognize it when we experience it, regardless of border, genre, etc. etc. You're too much fun to watch. Y'all too cool.

This was their very first song album number one. They were introducing themselves to the world for the first time and they wanted to show what they could do, show their range in one song. Love how you guys describe everything with words, physical expressions and so open minded with music in general. Your natural reaction is vibe🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Love the reaction and being utterly speechless at certain points. Jake Holmes originally did "Dazed and Confused" but like all covers Zeppelin did, they took it to a level that no band/artist can touch. This reaction makes it abundantly clear. After you're done doing more Zeppelin greats, come back to live version of this song. The 1969 live concert at Albert Hall (on UA-cam) is among the best. There you'll see Zep take it to a whole other level.
You have to appreciate the drummer John Bonham! When he died they didn't want to look for a new guy. They just said piece out, band is over and we're done. That was it for Led Zeppelin. They did do a reunion later with his son Jason Bonham who became a great drummer in his own right.
Wow that's some serious connection between them..
Shaju Valappy he was the driving beat (literally) of the band. You can’t have Led Zepp without John Bonham. He was not just a master on the drums, he was creative, invented so many new drumming techniques, or pulled them from places that normally rock bands wouldn’t go. I’d say he’s one of the most iconic and most influential drummers of all time.
I wouldn’t want to replace him either.
You simply cannot replace the best drummer that ever walked the face of the earth.
Neartmhor he also had pouch on his junk filled with cocaine and would grab a handful while playing.
I remember that day, I was at work and brother came by and said Bonzo was dead. I stood there stunned.
They are doing this with real instruments no auto tune , and no computerized bullshit. Just four master musicians rocking out.
Judi Dipillo man stfu. music back in the day was OBVIOUSLY more talent. but to say there’s no talent today...... you’re blind.

I just adore you two!!!! Your reactions to such amazing music is FUN to watch!!!
That's what we geezers call 100% rock and roll!
I grew up on this. This is when we all, black and white, hung out together and partied. Dazed and confused is the perfect way to describe the era. Fire one up and pass it around, drop a little this and that and just hang out together. Man we were all brothers and sisters. I have a few holes in my memory from that period.
Right I have a hard time wrapping my head around the social divide right now. You were either a stand up dude or not.
I'm 66 and and so happy I grew up in Venice, CA with every race imaginable. It was a time we were all getting together and appreciating what we each had to bring to the table. All of us were digging the Motown sound and blues echoing through so many British bands that melded it to rock to create something new based on something old. What a great time to be alive when we were all feeding off each other with respect and homage. I am so grateful to have grown up in that time. WTF happened?
Rap music happened.
It's hate music for the most part. Not to mention the lack of musicianship it takes to produce it.
World should've never changed from this and it would a better world
So true. Less racial trouble back them, it seems. Divided world now. Divided along race, gender, class. Then, it seemed simpler. Trouble is, now, that when something bad happens in east podunk, it is reported like it happens everywhere all the time. News, weather, racial disputes, crime all seem to have increased because the news flashes instantaneously. People who have no reason to be leaders now lead because other people can be led so easily by yelling and repeating the same thing over and over. Lets expect the best from people and treat them as though they were individuals, because they are. Maybe if we all introduced ourselves to one new person a day, and got to know them a little, just maybe we could slow down this runaway hate freight train that is out of control.
"When the Levee Breaks", "Whole Lotta Love", and of course "Stairway to Heaven". Another commenter said this is a deep rabbit hole. It's really really deep.
Live!
I second these choices and the sentiment.

The sound you are describing as a trombone is the great guitarist playing his guitar with a bow, as in a violin bow....Love your reaction to the greatest rock band of all time....Robert Plant is the singer, Jimmy Page the guitarist. John Paul Jones on the bass and the best rock drummer of all time John Bonham.
This is called "getting the Led out"
Back in the 90s the local rock station used to get the Led out every Friday night. Good times and a good use of my old Marantz receiver amp :-)
I discovered led zeppelin in may of 1994 at the ramstein, germany army airforce base. I was 9 years old! I bought this cd and led zeppelin 2 cd. They are still my favorite..... It makes me smile to see you two discovering the band with the BEST DRUMMER EVER, GUITARIST EVER AND JOHN PAUL JONES WAS INCREDIBLE AS WELL.....
I HAD THE EXACT SAME REACTION HE DID.... I WAS LIKE "WTF, HOLY SHIT, DAMN, THIS IS INCRECIBLE.
