WOW! This basic tutorial was so damn helpful! I needed a basic idea of how to use CSP, because I wanted to be a little more proficient in my drawing. I am so not a technical person so I am so happy to have someone who is out there making content like this!!
Finally a pro that uses CSP instead of Photoshop!! I'd be very interested to see you delve into some of the more advanced options, things like the extreme amount of brush options, as an ex-photoshop user myself, my biggest hurdle when getting into CSP was how the brushes seem to behave and blend differently leading to me having an over reliance on the blur/blend brushes which gets rid of a lot of texture.
Man, these videos you make are just so good! They literally save my life, since I've been struggling so much with progress in drawing! You deserve many many more views!
My biggest problem as a beginner with using any software usually is not knowing how to actually use brush/es or which ones to use so I appreciate the painting part with explanations and I would love to see a longer vid with similar format but more examples maybe.. Great video man😊
I am definitely going to watch this multiple times while I do Marc Brunet's art school. Thank you so much for this. This is a masterpiece tutorial. I also love your dragon. Reminds me of Monster Hunter
I always put the navigation tab because you can zoom in using it and there's also arrows on the side to flip your canvas and you can scroll to whatever part of the canvas you want with it
@@theartofnemo Oh no! I just use like a key dialed remote it a huion. It comes with like this little remote control that you can map your keys to it kind of looks like a calculator.
@@theartofnemo yes! i actually just got this tablet recently i tried messing with clip studio pen pressure settings but i wasn't really getting anywhere.
@@theartofnemo OH I went back and went to pen pressuwre setting and it was on wintab settings i had to change that thanks a ton that helped, this might help other people if theyre having the same issues also please excuse my bad typing ive broken my left hand
@@sebastianmaverick7588 weird! I had the issue when I moved my settings from another computer, except ALL of the brushes would only draw round shapes. Can you go to the brush settings and see if the brush tip has the right shape? It seems to, since it's painting the triangle... but not the cursor
I have plenty of videos where I show full processes for dragons, like this timelapse: ua-cam.com/video/H198_wKZino/v-deo.html Or the streams, which are in real time

You're welcome! Glad I could help.

Hey! I was actually thinking of making a video just about brush settings. They are confusing but you can get way more than you could with Photoshop
@@theartofnemo please make a video on this! I am starting to us CSP and would love to see what I can do with the brushes :D

Thanks for the suggestion! I do have a lot of painting process videos on both sai and clip studio, thought they are Livestreams
if you're a beginner you should learn to draw and paint on paper first

Glad it was helpful! Yeah I like the MH designs a lot
I always put the navigation tab because you can zoom in using it and there's also arrows on the side to flip your canvas and you can scroll to whatever part of the canvas you want with it
Makes sense! The thing is, I use multiple monitors and i would have to use the mouse to click the buttons, hence taking more time than a keystroke
@@theartofnemo yeah I mostly use it. Just for navigation. My table has a key remote so I've mapped all the keys I use to it
@@williammclean6594 Oh, like your desk? That's interesting, can you share what model/brand it is?

@@williammclean6594 Gotcha! Yeah I have something similar but it's like 1/3 of a keyboard, 34 buttons, can't even draw digitally without it :D
I’m just at the introduction of your hours and was relieved you were kidding about how many hours this would take…continuing. 👍
I like to freak people out :D
awesome as always nemo :3 i dont use digital but to those who do new is the best :₩
Thanks man!
in the new versions theres auto save option (Canvas recovery)
Hey! great tut but my triangle doesnt sketch like yours its a hard black line all throughout any tips?
Hmm you sure pressure sensitivity is enabled? I am assuming you have a drawing tablet, cause it won't work with a mouse

6:05 hey is it possible to add the transparent color to x, other than manually clicking the button?
You mean bind to the keyboard shortcut? Yeah that's what I did
@@theartofnemo how did you do it? what's the name of the tool on the shortcut setting
Could you show how to import a whole brush set into Clip Studio Pro?
You can drag and drop .abr files, but clip studio ones must be imported one by one unfortunately (as they can only be exported one by one)
Thank you.
Hey Nemo! I got your brushes, but the triangle brush tip is a circle for me. How do I fix it? Any clue?
Hey, that's weird... it's like the tip wasn't saved? Did you get it from gumroad or the link in the video description?
@@theartofnemo From the link! The cursor is a circle but when I draw it’s a triangle shape. I dont know what to do haha

@@theartofnemo yeah, its right! Had already checked, dont know what else to check tbh. Super weird
you need to put tutorials!
What would you like to see?
I'm not sure why but I'm unable to import the brushes the way you did or any other way do you have any other way I would be able to do it?
Are you sure they are compatible? CSP only takes photoshop's ABR or their own brushes. Stuff like for procreate won't work
nah I clicked the video because I saw a dragon, I didn't even read the title, I don't care about clip studio paint
