I've never seen this before! I've struggled with rotating boxes, thanks for this
If I’m drawing from a fully front facing angle, how can I make things look 3d?
You'd still see the top faces of what is below your eye level, and the bottom of what is above. Kind of like the first row on the left here ua-cam.com/video/FEyoaEibF08/v-deo.html Though that's rotation, the principle is similar
thank u sir
I want to kiss you rn thank you so much (it aint gay if your thankfull)
Wow, you managed to take what Krenz was saying and make it edible and digestible. I will do this every day and update you with the progress in about a week.
Awesome! Let me know how it goes.
"I'm gonna show you an easy process that got me from this to this". Meanwhile me: not even close to the first "this" 🥲
I just started drawing this week and have been practicing following Marc Brunets 1 year plan. Gesture drawings have been really hard for me. I feel like trying to follow this approach will help me focus more on the energy of the pose and less on the outline of the reference.
You definitely do NOT want to focus on the outline :)
OMG THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH I LOVE YOU SO MUCH OMGGGGGGGG I GOT 1000000 X BETTER ST DRAWING BODYS THSN KYOU THANK YOU I CANT THANK YOU ENOUGH OMG THANK YOU SM THIS WAS MY DREAM❤❤❤❤
This is the tutorial beginners should start with after learning how to make smooth line art. Very clear explanations and easy to follow. Drawing a circle on opposite faces of a cube and connecting them will give an easy cylinder. I suppose I have to practice this and try to draw everyday objects to master this and then move onto anatomy. this will be a fun ride. Thank you for this tutorial.
This video has helped me so much! I've always sturggled with drawing the body but now it feels so much easier! Thank you so much :) 💗💗💗💗
Glad it helped!
Hope you are not a teacher this was actually painful to watch there are much 100 guaranteed methods That are much easier
Yes, I teach. Can you show some of the easier methods?
new sub this helped me alot🥳🥳
Glad it helped!
Love how simple your videos are. Vs the ofther videos that give me a panic attack
Thank you man... was working on a design and drafted the concept around perspective, this video saved me.... Thanks a lot!
Could we get triangles and cones in perspective and multiple angles?
A cone is literally the same as the cylinder but you connect the base to a tip in the exact center of the other circle
I literally don’t understand this
Which part?
I’m just at the introduction of your hours and was relieved you were kidding about how many hours this would take…continuing. 👍
I like to freak people out :D
dont know how I got here when most of my characters are fully clothed jacket or business suited
This video only one that help draw dynamic poses. Without speedpaint and clippings, you will see the drawing process and the guides to them step by step. It feels like the author himself is learning in parallel with the audience, and not just talking. That's cool, keep doing that.🎉
After watching this video, my drawing skills improved by 200%
Hi the discord link is expired :(
Yeah there is no discord anymore
Is that a final fantasy t shirt I spy? ❤
Yeah I made it out of one of my illustrations :D
Lovely teaching and techniques there, thx!!!
Okay, this is easier than the tutorials I've been watching. Will try it out :>
Well, this is the easiest tutorial to follow, and it's so helpful. The title isn't clickbait. I'm glad I'm not wasting my time!!
Hey, glad it helped!
I'm gonna practice this and then next stop is "ghost method" 💀🫡
tysm other anatomy tutorials are so shit and overwhelming in detail, only catering to one portion of learners and not people who need things to be broken down. it was so hard finding a good video like this they always draw right off the bat and it doesn’t help that they’re already so good. but with the way you break it into shapes and then tell us about measurements help a lot
Hey! great tut but my triangle doesnt sketch like yours its a hard black line all throughout any tips?
Hmm you sure pressure sensitivity is enabled? I am assuming you have a drawing tablet, cause it won't work with a mouse
@@theartofnemo yes! i actually just got this tablet recently i tried messing with clip studio pen pressure settings but i wasn't really getting anywhere.
@@theartofnemo OH I went back and went to pen pressuwre setting and it was on wintab settings i had to change that thanks a ton that helped, this might help other people if theyre having the same issues also please excuse my bad typing ive broken my left hand
This is something that I always wanted to do and is something that always felt obvious to me to try, but I always dismissed the thought because no other art tutorial has ever directly addressed it. I was worried that I'd be wasting my time on a fruitless endeavor. I think this is why other art tutorials just don't feel helpful to me. When I see their explanation of how to draw form and try it myself, it always feels 2 dimensional. Loosely connecting shapes just didn't feel intuitive enough to me. This video is so reassuring, you just have no idea. I thought my mind was just weird and couldn't wrap itself around common sense. Now I think that maybe I just want to process things a bit differently than other people. I've been stuck for what feels like an eternity, and this is the first time in a very long time that I feel like I found the path for improvement. Sincerely, thank you for making this video.
Happy it clicked! Learning to describe form is really the only key to mastering drawing, and unfortunately also very hard to learn. But once you do, it's all smooth sails. Also, cool Aqua avatar!
Nemo, Nemo, NEMO … NEEEEMMOOOO!!!!! You give me hope, man! You give me ringing bells and shooting stars and … and i duno man but it’s GREAT!! YOURE GREAT! YOU MAKE ME GREAT!! I thank you with gratitude and a mending will to create …. You have my respect.
Haha thanks!
I am definitely going to watch this multiple times while I do Marc Brunet's art school. Thank you so much for this. This is a masterpiece tutorial. I also love your dragon. Reminds me of Monster Hunter
Glad it was helpful! Yeah I like the MH designs a lot
you need to put tutorials!
What would you like to see?
waow, what is that original art
Yu Gi Oh
OMG Thank you so much for this. I was stuck with the perspective plane and the horizon line too. I watch so much perscpetive videos and no one else ever mentioned this😂 Now all makes sence
I’m a beginner, and this is really helpful. But I’m confused about the order of the levels. Level 3 seems much easier than level 2?
Depends on the person :D Some people find certain things easier than others
@ funny you said that, because I went through the exercises today for the first time and I found level 3 harder than I expected! But maybe because I’m overthinking drawing the shapes in 3 point perspective
WOW! This basic tutorial was so damn helpful! I needed a basic idea of how to use CSP, because I wanted to be a little more proficient in my drawing. I am so not a technical person so I am so happy to have someone who is out there making content like this!!
You're welcome! Glad I could help.
thank you !
You're welcome!

Bro, what drawing tool do you use? Is it Pen mouse? I recently bought a pen mouse, but drawing is not as easy as I thought. I want to know your tool.
Wacom Cintiq 16
Genial !!! thanks a lot !!!
I still dont get it
Me to
Can you do a video on how to draw them as a stack? I keep messing it up,like something is wrong with the relations of the neighbouring boxes
Yeah there is no relationship between them. For the stack they would get warped as you go away from the vps, or the center one would be basically flat perspective
Digital is supposed to be easier... I could color a inking in less than half these steps with ZERO Nasa training 😂😂
I do have a passion for art but, im mainly using this to draw hentai to get rich
Ngl
Ok dude, keep that to yourself
Iloveit
Thanks
yall where can i find an artist as reference, pls help me 😭🙏
Using “long boxes” instead of cylinders for the limbs finally unlocked this figure modeling method for me. Thanks!
Super helpful video!
