    What a fantastic scene! Wow, I'm so impressed by your compositing too! You really managed to take the sort of recognizable blender look out of the render, this looks absolutely as good as something you'd expect to see in a big budget historical show or feature. Great work, super inspiring

      It was planned as a 1 day project, but as mentioned in the video, I decided after seeing the render, to spend an extra day on it

    You forgot to add any wake at the bow or behind the ships, but amazing job nonetheless!

    why I can't make the sunlight work inside the sphere.

    • @mlt-studios
      @mlt-studios  Місяць тому +1

      Because the sphere is casting shadows. In the object properties under visibility and then ray visibility, you can deselect shadow

      @ the fact you did all of the other renders on your old computer that was amazing I think I will upgrade from 64gb to 128 GB DDR4 for blender. I’m just starting out and I want to do large scenes with simulations . Do you need I’ll need the 128gb ? I have a 14900k and Rtx 4090.

    So there is no hdri.

    • @mlt-studios
      @mlt-studios  Місяць тому +1

      Well, I think the background image is 16bit, so technically it’s a high dynamic range image (HDRI)
