I want to imagine you taking a second day to develop this more. This is phenomenal work given it only took 1 day.
Currently doing exactly that. Gonna upload that as a short in a few days
@@mlt-studios Awesome, Can't wait to see it.
@@mlt-studios your telling me this took 1 FCKING day!
@@mlt-studios May the Gods Praise your work and we' all dying to see your work
@@Gaiymer if you use pre-made models, yes it's not hard to make this in one day,
if you know what you are doing
We are often so critical 9f our own work. You point out th .001% of thing you could do better, but I'm hugely impressed and inspired by the 99.999% of what you di beautifully. The attention to detail in the cockpit of the camera plane is what really sells the realism! Great job and thanks for sharing!
This is very good. I would have added a subtle movement to the background to make it look like they are moving
Yea, that was the plan. In the end I just forgot 🙈
The way you did the engine heat distortion is genius, never thought of that! Thanks!
This video could very easily be used as a tutorial! Thank you!
I was watching this video while smiling. Good job! I really enjoyed that!
This is very cool and inspiring. You've giving me ideas for a shot I'm working on
That's so crazy bro, I'm beginner & it blows my mind someone can do this with enough knowledge which is free on the internet
You know what else is crazy?
Amazing! Inspiring me to spend the weekend making cool stuff in Blender. Thanks
Since I've been played diablo games and those wichi has CGI I always wanted to make CGI, awesome job man!
This is very awesome and you are really hardworked on it good luck❤
under rated work!! the amount of details that went on to this render is astonishing. Keep up the good work my dude, earned a sub.
Despite the minor errors, buddy, your work is really good for a 4-minute scene...loved your hard work mate...
this is really well done
one of the UNDER RATED video of youtube..... ART is LOVE
Gorgeous!
Great I love it! I guess I never saw anything with so much quality into the blender it could be in 3.6 splash screen!!! Thank's for this breakdown is amazing.
absolutely amazing!!!
absolute awesomeness. a lot of effort and creativity. but besides of that, as a software developer I think Blender is a masterpiece in software industry.
Man you sound like a young Werner Herzog. Cool job and thanks for sharing 🤘🏻
Wow, incredible, it looks almost like an actual footage from a jet fighter cockpit
Except it lacks the fundamentals. Before animating the inside of the cockpit or the background, the planes should AT LEAST have moving parts. How do you make a F-35 roll and pitch (like in this video) WITHOUT moving flight control surfaces?
Huge respect dude literally Amazing.
It is not boring at all, it's super impresive and cool as hell cool 😀👍🏽
Looks extremely neat!
Fantastic work!
Echt cool geworden!
They are is cool and it looks great! I would love to see this again, but you work on it for a week. I couldn't even do that in a month, so awesome job!
I’ve uploaded a short recently, where I did some work on this scene. Though I changed the planes to euro fighters
You could made the effect of clouds getting passed by the Jets to make it more realistic and made the background with a paralax effect or by rotating it.
But great work!!
Amazing, thank you for posting!!!!
Amazing job! Just a quick tip as a timesaver idea for your future projects. You rotated each bolt by hand, but it's faster to select them all and then go to Object->Transform->Randomize Transform, and then randomize rotation of objects along needed axis.
Just wow, I don’t have any words to say how amazing this is im a so into jets, maybe a new project is a top gun kinda movie off a aircraft carrier 🙌🙌🙌🙌
clean work
One day!!! This would take a week for me... after a month of practice. Great job!
This is such a cool project, you answered all my questions! Throughout the video, and I wish we could get a tutorial on some aspects of the video, like the bone rigging, the jet engine vfx, and noise for animation nodes :)
wow just wow. Awesome work mate.
This video is inspirational really. The amount of detail and animation made in just one day. I'm going to keep learning blender, I just need a better computer
The jet plume trick is a neat one, been wondering how I could do something like that for something
damn this is great! i wanted to do a similar project with fighter planes too but never ended up finishing it, seeing all this done in a single day is crazy
I feel you. Since when do you work with Blender?
@@mlt-studios ive been using it for a good few years but i dont do many big projects, just smaller things i can do in a couple hours
Amazing Work, loved this video!!!!
Cool work, and in one day... wow amazing job
Damn this looks sick!!🔥🔥🔥
That's insane
Dude, continue with what you do. I am sold, you will eventually be rich and even more successful on day
This is very cool :D
great work 💪
at these speed the cloud move noticable but exept that insanely good
Fantastic ! Great job )
GREAT job man!!!
Man I simply love what you do ! I can't wait to see more of you next ;) If I may suggest a video topic ? Making a cinematic vfx shot in blender with character in it would be so great since I would like to create shorts film and I am a character artist. this video would help me so much !!! thank you for everything and keep going ! peace ✌
Dude Nice Job This Looks So Cool:D
That was pretty impressive
Amazing work for such a short little time, especially the pov from the cockpit looks great. Just my 2 cents, the planes from pilot pov should be loosing speed as they turn off, so they should start dragging behind. Or, a great detail would be that the jet's nozzle turns slightly hotter indicating they're banking but also increasing speed.
Really good result for the time invested :)
this is amazing bro!
20 hours is just crazyy
clean
I have been working on doing the same thing with F-15's and now I know I am over thinking things. Great job.
It looks good! Nice trick with the refaraction exhaust. But the only thing ruining it is the static background. You would expect the clouds to move to the back.
Yep. The idea was to give it some movement, but in the end I forgot.
@@mlt-studios add some vdbs composited over
very very awesome and high quality! very good!
This is awesome !!
Great work thanks for share, looks awesome!
Wha you did this all in one day!!!
OMG THAT IS AMAZING!!!
Also you could add some voice acting and breathing that would really sell the effect
Yea!
Adding Sound Effects wasn‘t actually something I thought about until the very end. So the whole thing was done very quickly, by just searching for jet cockpit sound. So yea, the sound could be a lot more sophisticated.
Im Realy proud of your content, keep going
superb for a day's job matey
Well done!
Wow! Nice work, you are an absolute genius! The workflow looks very good. I am still learning how to use 3D modeling Applications like Blender to practice sequencing action scenes but this was absolutely way better than I was expecting. I like the subtle boring look but the explanation for bone modeling and parenting was very cool! I will definitely refer to this animation in the future for help with learning how to render my own ideas. #Nvidia #i9 #3D #Modeling #Animate
Very nicely done.
If I were to suggest any changes, they would only be on the technical side of what is being shot -not with any of your creative or technique choices, which were fantastic.
1. The camera in such a production would be fixed (probably by suction cup to the canopy), so you don't need any sway and probably don't want vibration.
2. Aircraft in an eschelon formation like the one you're modelling always break from the lead. The lead goes first, then #2, then #3 etc. Because the other aircraft are formating on the the lead -they are watching him/her. In your animation 5 breaks first, then 4, 3, 2 and finally the lead. This means that #4 is looking right and then breaks left into an aircraft they weren't watching, and therefore don't know precisiely where it is. Reposition your starting locations so the aircraft are in eschelon right, with the camera ship as #5 and the furthest aircraft as lead.
3. When aircraft break like this, they aren't on rails. They roll sharply and pull hard. A thousandth of a second difference in the stop point for the roll, means the final angle (and therefore the plane they are pitching in) will be different. At the moment each aircraft's movement is an exact clone of the others. There needs to be diversity in the final plane of pitch, so that some go slightly higher, and some lower. Watch the F-15 clip at the start of your video again to see what I mean. The lead aircraft pitches slightly higher than the #2.
The third aircraft in the sequence actually uses the first two as references, so normally pitches somewhere between those two, and the same with later planes in the break.
This looks great. There are however two more things that I would change. I would remove the camera shake as it doesn't make sense to have a cameraman stanging in the cockpit next to the pilot. If you want to make it feel more real just keep the camera locked and maybe add a bit of vertical shake the moment the camera plane starts rolling. The second thing is paralax. I would just keep the top of the background image pinned in place and slowly moving the bottom (as it is supposed to be closer to the plane) This will give you the feeling of fast movent even when moving the bottom by a few percent of it's width.
if we imagine that it's a "dash cam" attached to the cockpit it would make sense that the vibration is visible
You still wouldn’t have that much shake in flight unless going through turbulence.
@@EchoBravoIndia Yeah you would, just look to actual videos of acrobatic teams of fighter jets
@sebastiannoriega8072 I admit I was wrong they do have a little camera shake, thank you for the criticism, I got to see some badass acrobatic tricks.
Wow that looks good
Damn i would LOVE a high res + looped version of this so i can uset as a wallpaper
Dumb question, but is there a place I can buy such looped wallpapers?
Very good, I like your handling of the wake, but you can add some blue or orange jet flames, Additionally, some prospect clouds and Glare and solar flares may still be needed
Nice work!
would have got still images of clouds imported them with alpha channel and had them in the foreground pass quick as closer clouds, maybe even some volumetric fog, looks really good
I’m actually at the moment improving on this scene, Addon some volumetric and better background. Probably gonna upload the final result as a short in a few days. Did not record the whole process, since I was just adjusting what I’ve already did before.
I think you did great!
I've been working with Blender for almost 8 years now and still consider myself a noob...!
I think this feeling never goes away 😅
Beatifull job bro actualy I'm a begginer but one day I will reach your level ❤🛐
Great job! There is one thing that makes my heart ache. Airplanes don’t do formation maneuvers like that :) It really hurts me to watch it :))) The wingman must maintain constant visual contact with the leader. To see the leader, they must be in echelon right formation. In this case, the pilot will look forward and to the left, will see everyone and won’t even break his neck :))))
this is amazing. and in 1 day... amazing
Subscribed buddy. Great work❤
Very good videos, fren. Keep up gr8 work!
Great work Sir
come on man, this is super super awesome
Just a little bit of a suggestion, space the fighters out more. Unless it's an airshow, fighters do not fly that tightly together. Watch "Mover ruin's movies" to see him go over unrealistic flying that are in movies and you'll get some great tips on how to make the shots more realistic. But great video!
this looks awesome!
great job.
Wow, this looks sick! I'm really impressed with the final render. Just wanted to give some pointers, *OBS* I'm no 3D or aviation expert.
1. In the example video, when pilots execute those turns at the beginning, they usually raise the nose to maintain altitude. This increases air resistance significantly, causing the plane to slow down and eventually disappear out of frame, just like in the example video.
2. the cockpit glass on a fighter plane is kept clean for various reasons. So, seeing dirt or grime on it made me grit my teeth a bit.
3. You picked a fantastic backdrop, but I sank in to my chair a bit when you beveled the image because I knew it would create a fisheye/distortion effect on the backdrop. Instead, you could reduce the opacity on the bottom of the cloud image and then place the ground image flat under the plane for a smoother transition without any distortion. I understand this might require more effort, but it would definitely be worth it.
4. The top comment allready pointed this out. but making the backdrop move very slowly along the Y-axis would make the render so much more believable.
Overall, it's an amazing video, and top notch render!
nice job brother blender
I like these videos a lot
Thank you very much!
damn very sick bro, i didnt know about refraction shader so this is cool
Awesome
Instant sub, love it!
Very nice animation congrats
Amazing really love this
Pretty damn good, especially for one day of work.
Gotta animate those control surfaces though. That’s the main thing which makes it look instantly fake to me at the moment.
Reminds me of top gun great work 🤩
nice work dude
I just started learning blender last week and I'm out here looking at these like am gonna be able to do it 😂
Wooow awesome work
1 day work blows my mind. Making a donut took me the same time.
