I just got a lil guy from a friend… no leaves, just a rooted vine with *maybe* a leaf starting on the end. So this is a SUPER helpful video!! Thank you so much!!! New sub!
My Mican is my favorite plant. So I bought its very own humidifier and grow light so I can keep it on my work table so I can stare at it while I work LOL
Love it! If I worked from home I definitely would do the same. Might actually be crazy enough to rotate a diff plant daily so I can stare at various plants lolol
I bought one and is my favorite at the moment 🥰❤️ I took some cuttings this week and I’m propagating them in water (I hope it works) because mine is in LECA right now
I would love to one day transfer my micans to leca but honestly just way too lazy since there’s so many cuttings in my pot 😫. Hope yours roots quickly!
I love Micans too!!! But mine lives in a bag. Once I take it out for a couple hours, the leaves curl down 🤣 I guess it would take a while to adjust to my home’s humidity.
I love my little micans! I have mine growing in a pot that sits in a macrame hangar. It’s climbing up the macrame and loves it! I have it placed in my kitchen off from the skylight. Probably in summer I will need to move it because the sun will be more overhead, but we’ll see. Thanks for the video!
That is awesome! I accidentally burned my micans with too much sunlight from my south facing window in the kitchen this past summer so definitely need to be careful with that afternoon sun shine! Hope yours thrives over the winter and thanks so much for watching :)
Gloria! After your precious video where you repotted your micans, I repotted mine too ✌🏻 how did you manage to get it in so nicely? I found it a little challenging to plant all the cuttings together 😅 but it's done now and hopefully it grows nicely for us! 😊
I think that’s why I mainly like to propagate in soil because I hate sticking rooted cuttings into soil. It’s so hard to arrange 😂. But if I just stick unrooted nodes into the soil, much easier!
@@GloriasPlants So true! I've never actually tried sticking propagating straight into soil for philodendrons but will give it a go! Sounds much simpler and less work too haha!
Hi, I have one at home in a dry and fully ventilated room. I water her once a week only when I can tell she needs it, but I've noticed twice now that one of her top leaves are almost weeping? There's a water droplet from the leaf and I don't know why that is happening. Can you help with this?

I prefer soil propagation as well for the same reasons. I got a free Micans cutting from Etsy and can’t wait to see it grow.

Mine is my favorite too but idk what's wrong with it 😭 keeps dropping leaves
Beautiful plant, getting a small one tomorrow, doing research, i am excited.
Best of luck! Hope yours thrives in your care. This one is definitely an easy philodendron so I absolutely love it :D
One of the most beautiful plants.
I think so too! Thanks for watching :D

hope it roots quickly and starts to grow new leaves for you! love this plant
Mine was small just started with a few cutting, since I bagged it up 2 weeks ago Wow , that works if you want to speed up growth on many plants tfs 💚
Thanks for the tip!
You are awesome!!! I love that you shared your mistakes. You answered all my questions! :)
Great information. I got a small one today I'm excited. Yours is so pretty
Good luck!! Thanks for watching!

Oh no! Yah maybe slowly acclimate it to room humidity or have it beside a humidifier if your environment is particularly dry!

Definitely want one but weather conditions in Montreal are not suitable for ordering right now. Great video!
Yes for sure. I’m not ordering online for plants right now. Definitely too cold :( can’t wait for spring to come!

your micans is beautiful! mine has small dull leaves 😒
Oh no! give it some time and bright light and some big beautiful leaves will grow for you!
@@GloriasPlants maybe that's why mine is mad. I get a plant stand delivered Friday and will set up lights etc. Maybe more light is needed.
