Just did it i was having issues with playing games and keeping the stream stabble but i did your steps and i have no issues anymore i gratefully apreciate it :)
I use a Raedon and not NVIDIA so when I use the AMD Raedon as the encoder and try to start the stream it won't apply the settings and I start to drop a lot of frames, plus its a quality stream but its really laggy. but if I use the x264 its not laggy but its just not a good looking stream. So do you have anything that could help?
Quite a few streamers still use x264 so it shouldn't be a problem. It just adds more load onto the CPU so you just need to make sure in game settings are low, nothing is happening in the background on the pc while you stream etc. Is it the game picture quality that's bad or webcam? Also make sure you are streaming at 1080p if pc/ internet can handle that.
my upload speed is 11mbps, i use GTX 1650 super and i5 10400f for proci. I still get some frame drops while streaming (bitrate 4000-5000, Performance and Main) “Super People” (all very low graphics), can u help me so i can stream with 1080p with no drop frame rate? Thank you
when i stream i got continously drop frames ang i got 2mins delay i dont know how to reconnect i tried using dynamically change bitrate but there is a chance im getting 0kbps then i need to force close my obs i have 80 to 100mbps internet
That's download speed though I assume, what is the upload speed? What else do you have open while you stream? If the bitrate goes too low then it is either being used elsewhere, the cpu is overloaded its too high for the spec on pc. That's the most common things anyway.
@@finnessegaming8761 When im streaming my rendering lag and encoding lag is terrible. My upload speed averages about 40.And i have a ryzen 5 3600x and a amd 5600xt.Idk what to do?
Sorry bro, only just seen this comment! It sounds like CPU & GPU overload if you have both of those. Make sure nothing else is running in the background, close all other apps etc. Make sure graphics settings are not to high in game. Also open the task manager while you stream to see what the % usage is on both that and what else is running while you stream. Upload speed is plenty fast enough for stable stream.
So, this video lagged and buffered for me even on the lowest quality: 144p. My upload is 114mbps and the download is 5.8. Also, my hotkeys don't always have immediate response, like when I record both the hotkey and manual start and stop doesn't respond. So frustrating...trouble shooting this now...
That download speed is quite slow compared to the upload, its usually the other way around. This video or anything else you download might be buffering because of that. As for the hotkeys, I would check the drivers, then the cpu usage in the task manager while you start to stream or download something to see if it is overloaded.
Hey! I liked the vídeo a lot, i have a upload speed of 180, and normally i can stream offline games, but if i try to play online games my frames drops almost to 0, i dont know why... i’ve done everything you told no the vídeo? Could you help me?
The only things I didn't mention was to check there are not loads of devices on the network as they will use bandwidth even if they are not being used. That goes for smart devices as well. Can also check DNS server, there are some that are faster like the google one. On your pc make sure there are no programs using internet or running in the background as they will slow your pc speeds, unless you have a very high end pc. And make sure its a wired connection.
Your upload speed is what you need to know for streaming although good download is also important. What’s your upload speed? If it’s decent, somewhere between 3500 - 5000 should be fine.
Ok that's good so you could probably try 5000 and work down from there if you need to. But with that speed as long as its a stable connection 5k should be fine.
Hey! Much love man! But I have a problem Everytime I stream with any app I try and stream cod mobile battle royal it'll stream for 30 secs or a minute then it will just randomly stop by itself? Is there any solution or explanation please help.
What do you use to stream a computer or off the phone? Its probably a connection problem or the bit rate is too high. Unless the device you use just cant handle it so it would be a hardware issue.
@@finnessegaming8761 I stream useing my phone, I usually live stream and play the game at the same time useing my Moto e phone it was a cheap Android phone.
It's probably that the phone just can't handle all that at once so closes stream down. That and the connection will not be very stable for streaming gameplay like COD using wifi on a phone. Even the very best phones would struggle to do that and keep the stream going at decent quality.
@@finnessegaming8761 ohhhh I agree 100% I've been trying to work enough money up in able to buy some streaming equipment and a new phone. Yeah I think most use 3rd party software to link their phone to the computer for streaming. Basically it just mirrors the screen and captures it in the streaming software on the pc. Most will connect the phone to a capture card as well for the best quality stream. 👍
Is it hard wired to the internet? The speed if it is upload is fine, so its sounds like its either a non stable connection if its internet based problem, too much going on in the background of the pc, settings too high on Apex graphics or the bit rate when streaming isn't right. There can be other reasons but those are the first and easiest to check. Don't open google chrome either it can cause it to lag.
You can still use the x264 it will just add some more pressure onto you CPU. Still works fine though just make sure not much else is going on in the background
That's a fast upload speed! I would still base it somewhere between 5000 and maybe up to 6000. Twitch can't handle a very large bitrate and if the file is too big the viewer may not be able to see it very well either. You could test higher if you wanted but I would have thought somewhere in that gap would be fine.
What do you mean by normal games? Recording is just sending to your pc so you don't need good upload speeds or good internet, streaming requires both. And streaming usually uses a little more pc resources than recording so it may buffer or skip frames etc, when a recording might not.
Can anyone help me with this issue, when I stream on twitch and in the middle of the stream, my stream randomly goes offline and then i loose all of my viewers, does anyone know how to fix this issue
What's your internet connection like? Wired or wireless? It could just be a connection problem or possibly game settings too high causing stream to crash, CPU is overloaded, or bit rate etc aren't set right.
That's a fast upload speed! Make sure there aren't loads of devices on the network that are using the bandwidth when you stream, is it a stable wired connection? That will definitely help, mine wont work unless I use ethernet as you don't get that speed through wifi. Every device that is connected to the internet through wifi will be using up bandwidth, the only way around this is ethernet or one of the gaming specific wireless routers that can give a selected amount of bandwidth to certain devices (Pc or console).
Do you mean when you select to dynamically change bitrate? That will make it random as software is changing it to stop any dropped frames it will be dependant on your internet speed. What upload speed do you have?
