      You should do a video about setting up voice meter banana with a dual PC streaming setup (if you haven't already). Specifically when using only one USB mic. It is possible, but I'm sure a lot of people aren't sure how to do it. Thankfully I found a way to make it work, but I've seen the question 'how can I use a Yeti for dual PC streaming' asked very frequently online.

You are literally the only person I trust when it comes to this kinda stuff. I waited 6 months before I can finally get my hands on the GOXLR due to high demands and lack of labor from Covid19. I can tell you right now. I absolutely love it. With this video, It's helped me understand more. I have the Quadcast mic and was looking at the 2020 from Audio Technica. I want an XLR mic not USB. thank you for the info it's helped me a bit since i got rid of my DAW for the time being had to cancel my splice sub money is tight so back to basics but if i might add some things you can do with the GOXLR if you have the money for the software and have the time to learn and play with things you could use a DAW (digital audio workstation) instead of the built in FX/plugins and have way more control and effects then what comes with the mixer its self. you can also use a USB headset with the GOXLR by going line out from the mixer to the line in on your mother board then using voice meter banana to route line in out to your usb headset i use voice meter because the windows listen too option has more latency then how i'm doing it but it is possibly to use a usb headset with the GOXLR i'm personally using the Razer Kraken Kitty Edition.

    i've been streaming to twitch for a few years now and i have to say this channel has helped me a lot. I was looking into a lot of expensive stuff because i heard it was the best and X streamer uses it. because of this channel I've been able to rationalize everything. I was going to pay $400 for a dynamic mic that I've seen so many people use and another $600 for the pro mixer to use it, but now i'm sticking with my current mic and when i'm ready upgrading to the go xlr and later on just a decent dynamic mic. This channel has saved me so much money by just being up front about everything. Thank you!

I've just got the Go XLR and for what I need, ie voice over work, recording as-live radio links and live streaming, it's almost perfect. I had a Presonus Studiolive 32SC which was way overkill. I am using a ground loop isolater that’s not the type of problem I am having though. I don’t know how to explain it we’ll but the audio coming in with the 3.5 jack just doesn’t sound right. It’s very very loud almost tinny and if I try to lower the sound on the go xlr then it gets too quiet. What I am wondering is, when using the 933 do you think I should go into Windows setting and disable it as a listen device so that way just to be sure I am not getting twice the audio or something? I’m just not sure about the whole thing. How do you have yours setup?

    In regards to the topic you were covering at 24:20, having different sounds being recorded versus what is being streamed:
    -Does this only work on a two PC setup?
    -Are you recording through the same application?
    -Would it be possible using the GoXLR to record footage and get rid of all stream-related elements?(i.e. alert sounds/images, comments to chat mid game, etc.)

Had the mini for a while, and if you can find it available and have the money, I super recommend the full GoXLR. However, the Mini is def better for a lot more folks, and I'm glad they made it.

    • @tyisafk
      @tyisafk 5 Ρ€ΠΎΠΊΡ–Π² Ρ‚ΠΎΠΌΡƒ

      That's what I want to know too. I got a Yamaha MG10XU specifically because it has RCA inputs. The problem is that EVERYTHING is fed as 1 input as far as Windows can see, which is very unfortunate. If I equalize my microphone for my voice using a DAW and virtual audio cable, the console's audio is gonna get destroyed because it's seen as the same input as what the microphone is pushing to the PC. Currently I feed my console into Line In on my PC and use OBS to adjust it as a workaround. I assume you'll be fine if you use the Line In port on the GOXLR. Most interfaces are great if you only stream on PC, going as far as using emulators for retro games, but when you want to use all hardware, it seems like it becomes very difficult. The MG10XLR would probably be a perfect mixer if it simply had that functionality for Windows to see every single line of input as a separate device on Windows. Or at least to DAWs with the proper drivers installed.

      Scott Thompson So, what i did to get around this (on my Yamaha mixer) was get an hdmi audio extractor. Basically another box in the HDMI chain. It will extract the audio and send it to a separate audio cable (for me aux) and that was plugged into another input on the Yamaha mixer.
      From what i can see with the goxlr. There is a optical port, which i assume is a line in. You can plug the console into that via optical and then adjust with the PC app fader. I just ordered mine and should be here today from Amazon and i will try to confirm this theory.

    Great video and tutorial, one thing to potentially add for EQ on the GOXLR; if you have a fan, loud PC fans/cooling, a window AC or some other form of consistent noise in the background set your EQ to the "California Smile" as a starting point then go through backing off the high mid to mid high range one at a time to focus in on eliminating or significantly lowering the background noise, once that is done increase try increasing the EQ slider directly to the left and right by a value of one or two to compensate for your voice sound. On mine bringing the 4K slider down to -4 almost completely removes all sound from a large window AC and still results in a great sound for voice with the 2 and 8 Khz ranges set at +3 and +4 respectively. Many thanks for the awesome content you provide and have a Merry Christmas!!

Step 1: Check every box in the Broadcast Stream Mix in the Go XLR app that you want to hear in your wireless headset. Step 2: In your Sound Control Panel, in the recordings tab. Right-click Broadcast Stream Mix and go to properties. Under the Listen tab. Check Listen to this device. In the drop-down, select your wireless headset.
