never had dal bukhara, in saudi we get ruz bukhari which is made of using spices and tomato paste, its very simple dish but Ruz bukhara has got its own taste
This is not daal bukhara ...and it is introduced by chef imtiyaz ...daal bukhara is prepared with very less spices....in authentic recipe they don't use coriander powder, haldi etc the authentic daal bukhara is prepared with tomato puree, ginger garlic paste (garlic should be more than ginger), white butter, cream and kashmiri red chili...regards chef irfan khan

You cannot add so many spices and call it Dal Bukhara. Developing a taste is ok but if originality is lost, it should not be called by it's original name.
