Nice setup. I may recommend oil pump gear replacement and getting a cold air intake around the air filter, maybe even add a filter sock to it. Other than the sound, looks super sleeper. Love it.
Robert DeMilo 7:50. The standard KB intake runs down behind the grill opening. I need to worry about snow and ice up here.
@@wtf150comatose5 Copy that. I don't get snow down here where its usually hotter than hell itself so I'd look to keep it insulated from under hood temps in summer. We get plenty of rain (floods) so a higher (stock) fresh air intake is best.
Congratulations I have the same kit minus the KB tune, I’m looking for more power so I decided to go E85 and more boost it’s in the works as we speak hopefully it gets done sooner then later.
KB is supposedly working on an E85 tune and maintain the flex fuel capability. It’ll need a boost pump and even larger injectors but I’ll go that route when their done.
What kind of mileage are you getting on your truck? I'm trying to determine whether or not I'm going to strap a KB to my daily.

@@maritimer95gt I have a 2.8 mammoth on my 3v and I gained 3mpg at highway speeds if I keep my foot out of it....but at wot the readout drops to 3mpg. Dont spend 8k on a blower and worry about what economy your gonna get..it wont matter I promise

Yep. But not a ton. Area under the curve is important. Torque curve is huge and flat. I give up a few HP but don’t abuse the valvetrain as much. It’s my daily, not a track truck.

I’m a “car guy”. A big fan of GM muscle cars from back in the day. My dad owned several. ‘56 Chevy, ‘64,65,67,69,71. ‘87 Grand National (still owns). I’ve owned a lot of late model Ford muscle. I appreciate all models of cool cars. My brother appreciates cool cars as well. Ford, GM, Dodge, import... it’s ok to appreciate them all. We need to stick together as car guys.

Sweet truck! Love those Kenny Bell superchargers. Maybe not as well known as some of the others, but I really like them. I used to have one on my fox body mustang and they are amazing. Wish I still had it. Anyway, I've got a truck similar to this one and now u got me thinking about it. Thanks a lot, now my wife is really going to hate me. Lol.

If I keep my foot out of it, it didn’t change much. Mixed town and highway went from 17 to 15 or so. Highway still around 20.

Sooo I want to do this to my 2019 Sport 5.0 SC, problem is I bought the 4x2 and 331 rear gears for better MPG highway use (I live in Cali). Will the SuperCharger setup still perform well with only 2 wheel drive and 331 rear gears?
With the stock suspension you’ll have a lot of traction issues. I can’t even pass a car in 2wd without getting squirrelly at 70 mph. However, relatively speaking, 750 hp isn’t that much. A good suspension set-up and better tires will get it to hook. There are a lot of 2wd trucks (and cars) making a ton more power and able to hook. With 10 speeds gearing won’t be an issue and will actually help keep traction out of the hole. I’d say go for it 👍🏻.

I’m researching that right now myself 😁. Juggernaut has a rear shock relocation kit that looks promising. I want to keep the leaf springs since I still use this as a truck and still haul stuff. Traction bars are a must. There is a lot of axle wrap with these systems which turns into wheel hop which turns into broken shit 😁. Biggest drawback to traction bars is streetability. Ideally, a telescoping setup is best but I haven’t found anything that works with a lowering kit. Might make my own. If you don’t care about payload, nothing beats a 4 link but plan on spending some cash.

That truck is set up very conservative there is a lot more left in it you could have this shift point at 7000 rpm rev limit at 7500 rpm still that is kind of conservative for that engine

No. I decided not to for now. It was going to add over a grand to the build. High RPM and bouncing off the rev limiter is what takes them out (apparently). I raised the rev limiter and lowered the shift point to make sure I don’t hit the rev limiter. Since it’s my daily and I’m not looking for every tenth, Im not running a transbrake and I’m not concerned about leaving HP on the table... unless I get beat by Rich’s Vette... then I’m going E85 with a shit ton of boost 😁

I had a 2dr short bed srt10 truck which was red and a pin stripe down the side and at the back it had a break in the pin stripe that said SRT-10 and taking it through a car wash the driver side started to peal so I went back to dodge and they fixed it for free but for 6 months it didn't look right But I could not figure out what it was but finally I realized that the new. srt10 sticker they put on was half inch lettering and the passenger side was quarter inch long story short I too know what a pain in the ass them decals are to get off. Reguardless you sir have a badass truck

So what does the truck run? I'm guessing around 11.80's, as my '18 3.5 ran 12.40's tune only.
I haven't had it on the track but judging by what others run with similar set-ups and what mine runs to 100 mph, 11.80's probably isn't far off. Of course E85 and more boost get these well into the 10's. I went to a week long seminar on tuning a few weeks ago and we talked about the 3.5 Ecoboost tunes. Guys are running low 12's in Edges. Pretty insane. Can you imagine having this conversation 10 or 15 years ago? Might have to make that my wife's new daily :). Got to love the direction car companies are going right now.

Mehh, That air intake is still way cooler the 180degee engine that is soaking heat into the huffer.
The standard Kenne Bell intake runs down behind the bumper. Not good on slushy Iowa roads. It wasn’t a stupid mistake... I’m facing an intake scoop to bring in cold air without putting the filter directly in line with the snow, rain, etc.

Roush and Whipple are in the $10k range installed. A Kenne Bell is in the same ballpark but slightly higher. But, you get a larger supercharger, much, much larger throttlebody and 100 horsepower more than Roush or Whipple.
@@wtf150comatose5 not the case. MY stage 2 whipple just put down 624rwhp on a completely stock exhaust and the friggin whipple throttlebody is 132mm.
Michael Malloy. Stage 2... I’m comparing stage 1 KB to Stage 1 Whipple, Roush, etc. I’m not hating on those brands, I chose KB, you chose Whipple. We both chose to build a badass F150. Now go out and surprise some Vette owners 😏
