I would say it's the wheels, gearing, transmission and ECU trying to correct for it. I say slap a set of 20's with a standard road tire and give it a go.
Newton’s Second Law dictates that the force on an object is equal to its mass multiplied by its acceleration. So, increasing your wheel size will decrease the driving force from your wheels which will culminate in a decrease in acceleration of said wheels. Calculate the torque value of your wheel. The torque value is constant, which means if the wheel radius changes, the driving force acting from the wheel must also change.

It’s also a 50 degrees difference witch it was harder on the truck not as good air going in the truck wait till the temperature drops it’ll do better
I can see right here. Those tires are wider than the other ones on your old truck. That makes the drag coefficient worse
Forced induction properly turned and don’t look back
Nice video ❤ would like to see more modifications for this truck in the future
They are coming, all different looks and sounds
@@lmfscrew let’s go
Try stock tires and wheels.
I feel like the ride height has an affect on time as well.
Is the gearing the same as the blue truck?
I'd get carbon fiber wheels for it to get a lighter setup. Or even aluminum wheels for it. Or even get a tune for it
That just means chomper and shorty are faster than what the old draggy was reading 🔥
Get off road tires off it and what rear end gears did you get?
Change out your axle gears to 3.73 or 4.10
Newton’s Second Law dictates that the force on an object is equal to its mass multiplied by its acceleration. So, increasing your wheel size will decrease the driving force from your wheels which will culminate in a decrease in acceleration of said wheels. Calculate the torque value of your wheel. The torque value is constant, which means if the wheel radius changes, the driving force acting from the wheel must also change.
It was the window tint that made it faster due to the increase in Horsepower.
Differential?
My 2021 5.0 crew cab 4wd is 13.7@101 on Dragy stock with 87 octane. I ordered it with 3.73 and didn't get any weight adding options like sliding rear window or the work tailgate.
That wheel/tire combo looks like it weighs a ton. Did you weigh your stockers before the trade?
You didn't "double click" the traction control button? Should be faster if you did that.
My 23 Tremor is pretty darn quick. 2 seconds quicker than reported on some channels. Hard not to spin (in 2wd) a bunch in sport mode.
All depends on the size of the new wheels and your gear ratio.
I bet your new truck has the 3.31 gearing. That coupled with your big tires.
take the resonator off
If you want a race car then don't drive a truck. I have zero complaints with my 2023 f150 with the 2.7 in it. Quite the power house that shocked the heck out of me when I started driving and pulling it.
Think this thing would look great with some all chrome wides
The read ends different ??
Its all in the 60ft time. Could be traction, could be that they have different gears.
Your tires slow you down, I don't know how some people don't realize this..the bigger the tire the more it has to work to spin em
Big ass tires and wheels hell you changed the 3:73 gear to like a 2:73 lol 😂.
Keep it up big dawg 💪🏾🔥🏁 …….been a sub subscriber since I leveled my Cateye 💯
If you put on larger diameter wheels and have not recalibrated your speedometer, you will be going faster than speedometer indicates.
True but if your refering to the 0-60 time the computer he has isnt connected to the truck im sure its gps so it doesnt matter what the speedo says
What gear ratio do you have ? My 2016 fx4 5.0 crew cab 6spd has 3.73 Detroit lockers and it runs strong !! Very happy
Keep up the good work 👍.
HAHA YES!!! I knew the previous dragy was acting up!
Needs a palm beach dyno tune
Are the gear ratios different??? That may be the reason that its slower than the blue truck.
if you get slight mods it will go crazy trust
and if you get a e85 tune will go good with a whipple
also if you slamm it and get lighter tires cheat code with go
Did ya calibrate your tires to speedometer? RAM will not calibrate my 1500 to the firestone 35x12.5 they put on. So my mph and odometer is off 10%. When I show 60, I'm actually 66-
Gears. 5 foot bed. Mainly 3.27 gears. Yet. Larger tires then what it came with. That will slow you down. Then. It could be 4.0 gears. Slow anyway. By just sound. It's bogged. If you want to drag it. The engine should sound sharp and crisp. My guess. To big of tires for the gears. My 2020. All factory. Sounds like a jet and flys like a jet. 3.5l Ecoboost. 3.55 gears. You have the 3.27 gears. You can't or shouldn't run bigger tires. You need the 4.0 gears. Mine is towing and off-road. 6 1/2 foot bed.
What are 4.0 gears?
@johnhahn8464 2.37 gears. Normal vehicle. Good fuel mileage but not good for power or hauling a trailer. This is off of Fords. 3.55 gears. Good fuel mileage and good to pull light trail loads. 4.0 gears. Not to good fuel mileage but yet can pull a heavier trailer. 5.0 gears. Really bad fuel mileage but can haul really huge trail loads.
@@scanadaze is the 4.0 and 5.0 referring to the diff or engine?
@@johnhahn8464 transmission gearing. Not the engine. Not the rear-end. Transmission only.
Some are just faster than others.
I have a white 21 5.0 with a 5 star tune and it's slower than a grey 21 5.0 I drove before it and the grey was faster than mine with a tune.
Did you do the new car break in period or miles?? Also is the oil from the factory still in it??
Is the 24 f-150s have a problem because i see a lot of 24 f-150’s acceleration all of them was slow comparing by the 21 and the 18 f-150’s can any one explain please???
124 degrees here in Palm Springs 🥵
This f150 rips compared to my 03 Silverado with 300k miles
