Good video but u forgot 3 things. First, u didn't check the gap on the new spark plugs, second, u didn't use any anti seas on the plugs for the next spark plug change. And third, u didn't say to use a thin wall 5/8 socket. Thick wall socket won't fit in the spark plug hole. Also, I use a peice of vacuum hose and attach it to the new spark plug to install them, that way u don't cross thread the new spark plug.

Those plugs are iridium and you don't mess with the gap and ngk plugs are application specific plugs so the gap is already set

@@bdanielcal4608 So I had to take out my plugs and very gently gap them. 2 of my plugs were at .052, 1 plug was at .051, I know ur not suppose to touch the gap, I hear u on that but I never trust the gap from the manufacturer. Also, I just learned that be very cautious about if buying iridium plugs on line like eBay, not sure how true this is but their selling knock off plugs, not true iridium plugs. That's what a few people said on a Dodge ram forum I belong to.

First of all this engine 4.7ltr. V8 has 16 spark plugs not 8 from the start of the video. Second I found it difficult to use either a 16 mm or a 5/8 in socket to drop into the spark plug jackets in order to remove the original spark plugs therefore if you have a grinder grind down the outside of the spark plug socket 5/8 or 16 mm in order for it to go down into the jackets for the removal of the spark plug or the insulation of the new spark plug. Thirdly I always unhooked but the positive and the negative on the battery rather than just unhooking the negative end of the battery for the PCM and the relearn. Fourthly you'll find this job much easier to do if you simply get an 8 mm socket on both three bolts on the driver side and the passenger side fender liners and removing the fender liners to gain access to the spark plugs on the sides of the engine. Furthermore and removal of the top spark plugs you always do it by hand you don't ever use an air ratchet if it gets in a bind on those jackets where the socket is down into you could cut into the aluminum causing aluminum shavings to drop down into the spark plug holes and removal or even in the installation of the new spark plugs always do it by hand. Other than that don't know if the phone got broke or not whenever it fell and hit the ground but I hope it didn't and hope everyone has a great day and this helps!
