It would be good to mention that the brown staining on the white of the spark plug is normal. It is called corona staining and naturally occurs as the high voltage from the coils packs pass through the plug. It doesn't affect the plug's performance.
No plugs do not change oil level. Burning oil is usually bad piston rings. Expensive job. That happens to people that never change the oil or low oil. The rings wear out and you get oil blow bye and black soot out tail pipes and burn oil. Some burn a quart every 1,000 miles. Or you have a oil leak in pan or valve cover.
Mechanic? I consider mechanics nuts and bolt type guys. Transmissions engines etc. Not to sound offensive. How's about calling us automotive technicians. We are like doctors of the machine world.😂😂
