Not sure how I found the twins' channel, but I am sitting here laughing, crying, having goosebumps as I listen to these amazing songs through the ears of the young men just experiencing them for the first time. Brings up so many memories! I was living in a dorm in college when this album was released. I remember walking down the hall and virtually every room had this album playing on individual stereos, which could be heard coming out from under the doorways. It was a universal hit! Keep it up, Williams Brothers! Can't wait to ask my grandson if he watches you. My husband will love you, too. 😄
Brother, you are providing this middle-aged man therapy during these troubled times. Music is perhaps the greatest example of our ability to express ourselves, perhaps our finest accomplishment as a species. Drink it up. Drink it all in. I envy your chance to experience so many classic tunes for the first time. It's something you can never recapture. But feeling a bit of it vicariously through you is as close as it gets. Saw the In the Air Tonight vid blow up, led me to your channel. Very happy for you. Keep it up.

You bring me joy. I remember this from my teens in the 70’s, then around 1981 I bought the record, dubbed it to cassette, and it became one of a few albums I had going in the car over and over. And over. It defined several weeks/months of 1981 for me (album is fm ‘75/76). I love how you openly cross cultures and decades and appreciate this like the buried treasure it has become. Music was so pure and high quality in those days. And my tastes like yours, crossed the gamut of what was on the radio at that time. I was every bit as thrilled with Earth, Wind and Fire, Kool and the Gang, Lionel Richie, etc as I was with groups like Boston, the Cars, etc. Thank you for bringing people together!

@Lucy Anna not if rock music is not from your music listening background. These kids are from the era of rap and have just introduced r&b and rock music into their music listening lives
Honestly I feel the exact same joy he feels with this song. It takes me back to being a kid, hot summer afternoon and the neighbor is working on his car, stereo blasting Boston. Pure emotion.
Then go full bore southern rock Blackfoot. Wishing Well and Left Turn On A Red Light. Then try some Ozark Mountain Daredevils. Jackie Blue. If You Want To Get To Heaven.

FEEL IT Brother!! I’m 64, still rockin’ Boston from my day in 1975, and loving the way you take on these classic bands. You give me hope that young people have the HEART, the SOUL, and the STRENGTH to help take this country in the “We ALL KNOW what’s RIGHT” direction. Thank you for being YOU, and thank you for being an American. (A big shout out to your parents, they should be proud!) Give Boston “A Man I’ll Never Be” a try, it will blow your mind like this one did. -An old Army Veteran ❤️🇺🇸
“Make sure y’all got your seatbelts on, man.” Honey, we know! And I’m so happy that you do, too. I swear sometimes you can’t tell when Brad Delp stops and the guitars kick in. One of the greats.
Your comment that it feels like being outside, sipping lemonade and looking at the sky is EXACTLY how it makes me feel...summer day at the park or the beach with this playing. Awesome review!
I like your opinions and reactions to music you've never heard. I was introduced to Boston at an early age by my cousin. I remember being amazed when he turned that album cover upside down and showed me the spaceships were actually guitars. He took his own life a few years ago. His demons were too much, I guess. So every time I hear a Boston song, I'm instantly transported back to the 70's, when him and I were just 2 kids, sitting in his room, jamming out to a record player. Thanks for this.
Thank you for writing this. I listened to this album with my best friend, someone who was a brother to me when both of us were children living in a different country in a boarding school. It's complicated and I don't want to give too many details but we both came from families that had different kinds of challenges and the country we were living in happily took the children of families such as ours in the hopes that we would stay there. My friend introduced me to this album when we were both 13 and it became our music. He killed himself some years ago. Anytime I listen to Boston and this album in particular I think about him and I miss him very much.
@Kekkai wishing God’s love on you. i know your best friend is enjoying the music each time you play it. i love how music instantly brings back precious memories of where you were and who you were with. this music has become your touchstone. ❤️
When I feel really overwhelmed with everything going on, I’ll watch y’all listen to one of the classic songs of my youth for the very first time and it just makes my heart happy. Keep on keeping on. You two are awesome!!
He was talking about sitting out in the yard, drinking lemonade looking up at the sky right before they sang, "I closed my eyes and I slipped away." Right on, Tim!
Him: I like that cool vibe. You can just chill lay back and listen to this song. Me: Wait for it bro😈 Later Him: I got to walk off! I see what they doing. Let me to recuperate myself. Let me rejuvenate. Me: 😂😂😂😂😂 YEAH BABY!!!!
I'm 59 years old and grew up on this incredible music. It's truly refreshing to see someone from this younger generation immediately recognize its greatness and enjoy it the way I did when I first heard it 45 years ago.
You have got to listen to the group Foreigner. Their song “Waiting for a Girl Like You” was the song that played for my first dance with my husband. You would definitely have a great reaction to Foreigner just like you did to Boston.
This 66 year old sistah has always LOOOOVED this song and glad you got to appreciate it. One suggestion? Don't start and stop the music so often. It's meant to be experienced non-stop for the full 2-3 minutes. ❤️ Happy listening, young brother.
I think he has to stop and start to comment or he gets sighted for copyright infringement. Agreed, wish they could just comment at the end, but they can't.
If I only had one song to play on a loop for the rest of my life, it would be this one. Reminds me of my childhood. I used to ride my bike back home from my best friend’s house with this going through my head because her big sister would play it on a loop. People will tell you those guitars are the same recording stacked on top of each other, but those who have seen Boston live testify that they are actually two guitars played in perfect sync.
My uncle is a drummer and when I was a kid, he'd play this song blasting through the house and drum to it, while I pretended to be the lead singer singing. I am so happy to see another black kid love this song as much as we do.
Remember when a concert was a good time. A damn good time. No heart ache.. no politics.. no agenda.. just a damn good, hand clapping time.. Boston remembers
You could never do an Eagles song. Their management team has 13 full time employees scanning the internet for their music playing. The shut people down faster than Metallica.
What's truly amazing is the founder of Boston, Tom Scholz, wrote the song and played all the instruments - he did this on all but one song on Boston's debut album. And if Tom could not get the sound he wanted out of the recording equipment, he made his own equipment to get him the sounds he wanted. Having a Masters in Engineering from MIT probably helped.
This is the ultimate " lost love " song. " When I'm tired and thinking cold I hide in my music, forget the day And dream of a girl I used to know I closed my eyes and she slipped away She slipped away "
@@pgestudio75 That's interesting. I fact checked that ( because people make wild claims all the time ) and you're correct. I'll still think of it as remembering someone that I loved, but lost them years ago ( because I was young and stupid ), and the songs that remind me of them.
@@amyfulton8323 Oh yes, it's absolutely a true fact. I have been obsessed with Boston since I was a kid...so this kind of stuff I am well versed on. In a weird sort of foreign interview, Scholz touches base a little on the topic at the 16 minute mark. Here's that link: ua-cam.com/video/mrEzoa9-I8g/v-deo.html I'm sorry for that old lost love you've had and in a sense, Scholz does describe the song's meaning to be bittersweet in that sense of closing your eyes and drifting away to some place, time and event in one's life like that. More Than A Feeling sounds to be a touching song to you, as well as to most of us in one way or another. 🙂

I still remember the first time I ever heard this song on my car radio back in the day. It was so beautiful I had to pull over because I had tears in my eyes. RIP Brad Delp. You were amazing.
God blessed this beautiful young soul to an open heart but his gift is sound. God created all sound. Our bodies vibrate through sound. When sound lifts your spirit and makes you move that resonates with the frequency of God. When sound vibrates to make you feel like being a rebel, hurting someone etc. That does not resonate with truth. This young man has a soul that vibrates in unity and the frequency of God. He probably does not realize that his path is to open our hearts to unity and appreciate all sound and tones that uplift our being. Thank you God for this precious young gentleman. His heart is wide open 💓. Now that is a beautiful soul who knows no judgment, just the beauty in all life. What an old soul this young gentleman is. Beyond beautiful and I understand his soul message through the use of music and non judgment. Amen 🙏
Omg - you just wrote what I feel tonight watching these boys. God’s love language is music - beautiful music with beats and notes. I love all music - heavy metal, country, mariachi, rap, hip hop, alternative, rock, grunge. The vibrations of music are on God’s frequency. Thank you for saying all my thoughts and thank you twins for your channel. What a blessing. I am 52 years young and enjoying this so much.
If you’re all in with Boston, you HAVE to hear .38 special “Hold on loosely”
Yaasss!
Then go full bore southern rock Blackfoot. Wishing Well and Left Turn On A Red Light. Then try some Ozark Mountain Daredevils. Jackie Blue. If You Want To Get To Heaven.
Or Second Chance.
both are great songs, but musically there is no comparison. oh, i absolutely agree all the reactioners should check it out, but it's just kind of a weird comparison imo, lol.
That's another good song
Yep, this is what you would call a “BANGER!”
(A big shout out to your parents, they should be proud!)
Give Boston “A Man I’ll Never Be” a try,
it will blow your mind like this one did.
-An old Army Veteran ❤️🇺🇸
I’m a 68 year old woman and I love your reaction. You are so cute and cool! ❤️🌹❤️
When my son was little, he thought they were singing, “Morgan Freeman 🎶 “ 😂
that.is.hilarious!
🤣
*I* thought they were saying that when *I* was little!
Love it 😂
That's soon cute!😆😆
@@Kyarrix I am sorry for your loss.
I am sorry for your loss. God bless you.
@@davidpost428 Thank you for your kindness.
@Kekkai wishing God’s love on you. i know your best friend is enjoying the music each time you play it. i love how music instantly brings back precious memories of where you were and who you were with. this music has become your touchstone. ❤️
You can feel it in your soul
That entire album is immortalized in rock history
Yessss
It is. No clunkers at all. Not one
Hell, yeah! It's the best cruising music ever! If I could just have me a '67 Camaro, I might just be in heaven!
You my friend are right !
and then they released the second album :'(
The 70s put out alot of good rock.
All day....every day
High school ROCKED in the 70s.
henree simp Tom Sholtz didn’t get his guitar sound without electronics 😂😂😂
The late 60's and the entire 70's was totally amazing, with so many styles and all GREAT!
Love my Zeppelin and Pink Floyd!
Me: Wait for it bro😈
Later
Him: I got to walk off! I see what they doing. Let me to recuperate myself. Let me rejuvenate.
Me: 😂😂😂😂😂 YEAH BABY!!!!
☝🏼
lol
Same - I was like yeahhhhh lemonade bro, buckle in again
hahaha... i said the exact same thing!
So glad I wasn't the only one talkin to him.
Love watching this guy.
Love that 60 and 70 rock
I'm 59 years old and grew up on this incredible music. It's truly refreshing to see someone from this younger generation immediately recognize its greatness and enjoy it the way I did when I first heard it 45 years ago.
I’m right there with you
I love seeing young people learning about old songs & different genres.
I love how his grin gets bigger and bigger knowing the drop is about to hit.
"I gotta walk off" Ha! True true! Yes it is that good! I love this kid. He's so cute.
You have got to listen to the group Foreigner. Their song “Waiting for a Girl Like You” was the song that played for my first dance with my husband. You would definitely have a great reaction to Foreigner just like you did to Boston.
Classic for Sure💯💯
yes!! Foreigner!!!
This video made me so happy I got tears in my eyes.
He is soooo great and open minded!!!!
My uncle is a drummer and when I was a kid, he'd play this song blasting through the house and drum to it, while I pretended to be the lead singer singing. I am so happy to see another black kid love this song as much as we do.
I was in high school when this came out - LOVED Boston, but there was so many great bands from the 60's and 70's - hard not to get sucked in.
That reaction is how I feel every time I hear this song
Remember when a concert was a good time. A damn good time. No heart ache.. no politics.. no agenda.. just a damn good, hand clapping time.. Boston remembers
“Let me recuperate myself!” Lolol. Love u guys.
Suggestions:
*Eagles- "Hotel California"
Blue Oyster Cult-"don't fear the reaper"
Styx- "come sail away"
Don't forget Golden Earring Radar Love
You could never do an Eagles song. Their management team has 13 full time employees scanning the internet for their music playing. The shut people down faster than Metallica.
YESS!!!
Styx ...anything
@@legalass17 ...its a shame isnt it....bastids
This is STILL my reaction when I hear this tune. YES!
The best part is seeing how he feels the way we have all these years.
" When I'm tired and thinking cold
I hide in my music, forget the day
And dream of a girl I used to know
I closed my eyes and she slipped away
She slipped away "
The lyrics were actually written about a crush he had on an older cousin, believe it or not.
Here's that link: ua-cam.com/video/mrEzoa9-I8g/v-deo.html
I'm sorry for that old lost love you've had and in a sense, Scholz does describe the song's meaning to be bittersweet in that sense of closing your eyes and drifting away to some place, time and event in one's life like that. More Than A Feeling sounds to be a touching song to you, as well as to most of us in one way or another. 🙂
How am I 49 years old and just now realizing the UFOs are guitars?!??!
Me, too! I'm embarrassed!
Yikes bro. Lol.
LOL!
I have the album and never noticed it. My fiance had bought this album for me in 1978.
Same lol!
Oh my gosh. OH MY GOSH. @Shannon, I’m 59 years old, I wore this album out, but I never noticed the space ships were guitars, either! I’m just mortified..😳
That what boston does they rock you
Dude - I've got THREE WORDS for YOU! -- Blood, Sweat & Tears - "You've Made me so Very Happy" You will love it! A liitle slow, a little fast, a little rock... a MUST LISTEN!
NOBODY reacts to BS&T! That man can sang.
This song reminds me of being in 7th grade, hanging out at the pizza parlor that had a game room with arcade games, pinball games, an air hockey table and pool tables. It's from back in the day!
Hell, yeah!
I still remember the first time I ever heard this song on my car radio back in the day. It was so beautiful I had to pull over because I had tears in my eyes. RIP Brad Delp. You were amazing.
Unquestionably, one of the greatest rock and roll songs ever created!
Boston has so many incredible hits! This is one of my favorites!
Such a great song, and I agree 1000% with the chorus: "When I hear them old songs play, it's more than a feeling."
Boston "Smokin'" if you want a straight up banger ! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I second this. Timeless track.
I third this!
Oml. The only other Best Song!!
The second you said that the guitar riffs slammed into my brain. I don't know about it being the best but it is intense.
Kansas: carry on my wayward son, bob segar: old time rock and roll, so many good hits out there for you to experience
Boston is unique in their own way
God blessed this beautiful young soul to an open heart but his gift is sound.
You boys are beautiful souls who are spreading joy with what you do. Thank you!
Amen 💯
Amen yes.
Dude, this 50 year old man is loving your vids. This is my favorite song and I'm happy you listened to it. SOOO many great songs for you to catch up on. Oh, and thanks a bunch for making me sink two hours into your vids! :) BTW: If you haven't listen to Billy Thorpe Children of the Sun.
This is a song i have listened to for decades. Fell in love rock at the age of 11!!!!!!
Perfectly mastered, this is a timeless song and one of greatest of all time. I never get tired of hearing it.
I am black and I saw Boston live years ago. That show was INCREDIBLE!!. They were the" real deal." Remember that show to this day. Love to see the young cats digging this stuff!!
Classic Classic! Love ❤️ this 🎶
BOSTON
"Smokin"
and basically EVERY OTHER track off this album 🤣
Best part of this album, it was recorded by one guy, Tom Shultz, in his basement. He played ALL the instruments and he had his friend Brad sing on it. He had to find musicians to go on tour. Tom Shultz is a complete musical genius!
*Scholz
@@pgestudio75 thank you for the correction! 😁👍
