One of the most incredible voices in rock history, if not THE most. Gone too soon. RIP Brad Delp.
The whole album is a masterpiece-you really need to check out EVERY song on this album-all classic cuts. Not a bad song among them-then check out their second album-it's just as good.
An amazing album and was the highest selling debut of all time until Hootie. No offense to Hootie or there fans but this album is solid from a to b.
I think Appetite for Destruction was in that debut best selling conversation too
Every song was fire the only album that wasn't a greatest hits album where I loved every song. Of course since it's there first album it was their greatest hits lol.
This song is so good it makes you smile- so fortunate to have heard this live in the 70’s. Need my kids to respect how amazing and diverse music was back then
I was able to take my two oldest girls to see Boston in Boise in 2004. Posts concert I was able to take my kids to meet the band. For a night I was the coolest dad in Idaho.
If a man's kids don't know this then he ain't doing a good job. God bless you, friend. 🤘🎸
Saw Boston twice in the 70's, they were my favorite group, definitely on fire that was never put out.
Damn, you're lucky! I was 8 when this came out. And we're Black so I only heard this on the radio. But this is from the soundtrack of my life!
So happy you can hear how great music used to be! I’m in my 60s and still listen to all the oldies! The new stuff just doesn’t cut it!
One of best pieces of music ever recorded - musically and vocally! ❤
This album was released August 25, 1976
Now listen to the full version. This one is edited down for radio. It is missing nearly a minute of music. Great reaction, but how else could it be? It's Boston! everything they do is awesome!
All the music on their 1st album was written, recorded and produced by Tom Scholz in his' BASEMENT where he played all the instruments (with some help on drums) and sung by Brad Delp. He had to hire the rest of the band to go on Tour!
Thank you for joining our circle...Boston, Boston, Boston. Love the fact that you love this. Thank you.
The Best Rock album in History. Period!
Yes,the whole album is gold!🎛🥁🎸🎙🎶🤘💛My teenage years were the best!
You should check out the band Kansas. Start with Dust in the Wind and then do Carry On My Wayward Son
Thank you for doing Boston!! Many hits on this album!! Just make sure you do the Original Boston!! I just watched a reaction to this song who chose a later version with a different lead singer and IT WAS AWFUL!!! LOVE Ya Bro!!
Growing up every single person I've ever met around my age has owned this album
And still do ;)... actually have purchased several times through the years/ decades
If only one doing something wrong. 8 tracks, yeah saying my age , cassettes, lp,cd and now mp3. But my favorite is LP's, my original with the scratches and the latest pressing I just picked up.
From 76.
I was 18 in 76 when this album came out, it was THE ALBUM for guys in the dorm to show off their stereos at college that Fall! My roommate and I had a cheap "close and play" stereo. The next year I had HPM 100 speakers and lived in a room that faced the 7,000 seat football stadium, @200' away from the dorm. The team was practicing when I cranked up the Boston album, and after practice, one of my friends on the team came and told me that it was so loud, it was screwing up the count in practice! - Amazing music mix those college years, Hall & Oats, Foreigner, Head East, Peter Frampton, Gerry Rafferty, Dave Mason, Gordon Lightfoot, Moody Blues, Bob Seger, Steve Miller Band, John Denver, Pure Prairie League, Klattu, The Carpenters, Heart, Linda Ronstadt, The Eagles, BTO, REO SPEEDWAGON, Little River Band, Styx, England Dan and John Ford Coley, Seals & Croft, 38 Special, Paul Simon.... SO MANY GREAT SONGS. Boston, was a game-changer though. Hearing the fullness of the sound, you wanted the best stereo speakers ever! When the Walkman came out in the early 80s, a friend was a Duracell Battery rep, and they were given Sony Walkmans to demo, the tape was RUSH! - Suggestion: Rush - Spirit of the Radio & Tom Sawyer!
A lot of people including myself think this is the best debut album ever if not best period. Great suggestion. Can't wait for Led Zeppelin, RUSH, Yes and Pink Floyd to trip your eardrums out!
All are EXCELLENT suggestions!🤘
The drummer (Sib Hassian) would be The Rock’s father-in-law if he were still with us.
Also Brad Delp (the lead singer) is no longer with us and honestly, that’s still a hard one to take. Gorgeous voice.
Saw them in concert at the Sun Dome in Tampa, FL. in 1995. What a crowd! While waiting for the concert to start, we saw a man with greying hair in his' 50's walk in, wearing a Tux. His date was a stunning blonde in a light blue floor length evening gown with a tiara, diamond earrings/necklace and white elbow length gloves. 10 feet behind them, in walked a woman in her 30's wearing a black bustier, leather short shorts, fishnet stockings, thigh-high boots and black leather gloves. In her hand was a silver chained dog leash. This leash was attach to the collar of the man she was leading in. He was wearing black combat boots, black leather pants, a black leather vest (no shirt), spiked leather dog collar and a full head black leather mask with only breathing holes! I told my friends "This Concert just went to the next level"!! The concert was awesome! I never saw so many panties thrown onto the stage!!
So glad you liked this song, it's one of rocks greatest songs. It IS indeed a MASTERPIECE!
This is classic rock. Guitar. Vocals. A positive message that encapsulates what it means to be moved by music.
1976 when this came out and legend has it hes still carrying that last note to this day in heaven 😂😂rip brad delp boston will live on forever!!!
RICK, THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST BANDS EVER FROM THE 70'S!!!!!! HAPPY FOR YOU TO REACT TO THEM. SOME OF THEIR OTHER HITS; FOREPLAY/LONG TIME, AMANDA, DON'T LOOK BACK, HIGHER POWER, A MAN I'LL NEVER BE, FEELIN' SATISFIED, AND MANY MANY MORE!!!! ENJOY...MUCH LOVE...
Real happy you enjoy my era of music which was sheer talent...Can't wait for you to play Witchy Woman by the Eagles...I will be the Eagles concert this weekend! Whoo hooo
Brother, it does my heart good to see a young man discovering the great music I grew up with.
Every single song on that album was a hit. They are all fire 🔥
I saw Boston singing this live in the 70's! It was awesome!
Some tracks make you not just wanna stand up, but get moving, dancing & get fkd. BOSTON does that to ya. Brad may be gone, but his music will never die.
My all-time favorite song
Yes, crank it up it's Boston!!
That’s the only correct reaction to the best album ever made.
“Grandma twerkin’ on the corner for a Sprite with no ice . . . Free Grandma!!”
That’s gold, Brother
SO JOYFUL. God this song. I still feel it and you represent that feeling beautifully!
Isn't ' More Than a Feeling ' so magical! No other sound like that! Enjoy!
I fully agree this music should be no less than 80% on the volume 👍
I loved watching you react to this song the way I have for 47 years!!
Rattle the windows with it! Dude, it is probably the only song that you can come away from feeling as you been skating on rainbows with fireworks coming out of your ears and ass like and adolescent who just discovered love.
Saw them in concert and definitely the best concert ever!
Very happy that you appreciate old folks music 💜
A number of Boston fans absolutely love their song "Hitch a Ride".
The 70s and 80s in my opinion were the best when it comes to music ♥️
Hey man. Just subscribed to your channel. This album dropped in 1976 and it was a vibe right from the start. You can listen to any of the songs on this LP and you will not be disappointed. Shout out to you for reacting to this one. Peace.
great reaction brother its great to see the younger generation rock out to these old songs from the best era of rock:)
we gotta stop fighting amongst ourselves.
love you too, brother
My first concert in 79. It was awesome....
My man is moved by good music just like I am!! When it's good I CANNOT SIT DOWN!!!!
I'm watching an 8-month-old video at about midnight, LOL'ing at the reaction and comments, desperately hoping I don't wake up the GF lying next to me. Nicely done. I love re-discovering old songs through new eyes in reaction videos
The BEST album of all time!!
More coming 💜🔥
We knew you like it
"Lay It On The Line" by Triumph; if you haven't already reacted to it. It's my dad's favorite song from when he was a teenager in the 70's. 🎸😁👍
There was a time when you couldn't get away from Boston if you wanted to. But who would?
Legend says he's holding that note to this very day
Great reaction bro. Actually it's probably the rawest, most real reaction I've ever seen. Nothin to add. Great classic rock song and great reaction. Well, I take that bk. I'll add one R&R history bit...Kurt Cobain was doodling around on the main riff of this song and turned it into Smells Like Teen Spirit. True deal...listen to the similarities
As a teenager in the '70's I recall that I wore OUT this album although it was My older brother's copy! You should react to the WHOLE album, it's that good!
I want to tell you right now that's the first time finding your channel. And I love all music but I'm a hip-hop and R&b guy. But my father was a DJ and I was lucky from a very early age to hear all different types of music. In Boston is an arena rock band. And I'll tell you this debut album right here might be one of the greatest rock debut albums ever! It is classic! But I love to see other people broaden their horizons and recognized and great music. And I don't care who you are you can't listen to that guitar that Harmony that chorus and not appreciate how great of a band Boston was! Great reaction you aren't yourself a subscription. Off the strength of recognizing homeboys mustache game!!
I saw them in concert in Tucson AZ when then album came out. In my top 5 of best concerts❤
Loved your reaction thanks for making this vid! Made my day ha ha!!
Saw them in concert… They were Rock in the 70s…You will Love❤ to do ROCK, DISCO, FUNK,
I can’t wait for you to appreciate some great memories 👍👋🏽🎸🎶Peace
Your reaction was FIRE! Thanks for the great entertainment.
Not too loud cuz the guitars lift off into space❤️
Has anyone put you on to the rock band Queen yet, well how about "Somebody to love" live in Montreal (1981) for starters and "We will rock you" and "Another one bites the dust" next they're a phenomenal UK rock band from the same era as Boston
Stand up if you feel you have to. However, the music moves you, brother !
Boston ♥️!
Hitch a ride- Boston
Beautiful reaction! Thank you for sharing your love of music with us☮💜
1976 my man. I was going into the 9th grade when this came out.
Dude, I'm Hugh. That so cool. I'm glad you liked it, but that was easy, everybody does.🌿😁
More songs from Boston please
Lots of good music to be discover by young people
"Cletus running around in the truck with no oil in it!" -yep thats more than a feeling...lol - One of the key bands for me in high school in the 80's. Great Reaction.
U rock bro. Cause you’re real
You will want to react to every song on this album (and many from the 2nd album). Suggestions to get started:
Foreplay/Long Time (they go together)
Hitch a Ride
Peace of Mind
Rock and Roll Band
Smokin'
From the second album:
Don't Look Back
A Man I'll Never Be
"I got to stand up" ---- I guess it really is more than a feeling. lol
If you have a band, and you want to hit it big fast, forget all the doom and gloom crap and make music that makes people feel good! We are sick of the doom and gloom. We want to feel happy so study Boston and what they did. They are still to this day the highest selling group that has ever existed! To date, they have sold over one billion records! No band in history has ever sold that much. If you want mansions and money you had better get your head on a positive agenda. Listen to Boston and take the hint that good times out sell bad times every time!
Iconic song rip.
Reminds me of my uncles in the 80's drinkin some cold ones sittin on the tailgate of a pickup truck after construction work. Nostalgia
Most underrated band in music history!!
Pretty sure bassist Fran Sheehan was tripping out as well as rocking out!
Thanks!
❤️❤️❤️love you! I really appreciate you so much ! God bless you and your family
Led Zepplin Kashmir will blow your Effing mind! Doobie brothers “what a fools believes” too. Trust me you will thank me too. ❤
The 70s rocked!
That song is an absolute masterpiece and brings me back to seventh grade lol
"Hitch a Ride"!!!!!
I totally love that video and Brad Delp's voice rocks, but I had just as much fun watching your reaction. 👍😂
You looking for another great "Mustache" song?... try 'Jane' by Jefferson Starship.
Give the song 'Jane. by Jefferson Starship a shot. Mickey Thomas is the vocalist!
Brad Delp is one of the best rock singers ever. He has range for days. Too bad he took his own life in 2007. What a loss.
Hahahaha dammit you got a girlfriend, my man look sexy , i spit some expensive bourbon out at that made me cackle haha made my day. I subbed
Great band 😎👍 me too i have mustache since 35 years .
Yes, I want that mustache. 😀
ok next song you got to listen to is manfred manns earth band blinded by the light (long version) studio version. epic!!!! and quite frankly my favorite song ever. the song is a trip and so layered .
Great reaction! You should hella check out "A man Ill Never Be" from the same show!
You get more of the effect of the song if you don't stop it , plus I get to enjoy it again.
1969 woodstock is on youtube Lasted i think 3 days outside
the Iconic 70s porn stash, everyone had them.
Real music real instruments and real voices Much more picky about artist back then
1970s is my music too
Then entire first and second albums were cuttng edge and pure fire... not a sub-par track on either. If you enjoyed Brad Delp's vocals here, which included lead and layered background harmonies, you need to check out "A Man I'll Never" off their second album Don't Look Back. I suggest you look into Boston's history especially the genius of its founder Tom Scholtz.
Love your reaction. This brings me back to my teenage years. Check out Styx, Foreigner, and Kansas . Big arena rock bands. You will love them.
Dragonforce-Through the fire and flames 🔥
If you like guitars, you should listen to Steamer Lane Breakdown by the Doobie Brothers. I'm not asking you to react on your channel but to just listen to the music. you will not be disappointed. Enjoy!!
The mustache gives up the game
