So...I'm 54 years old and remember the "Boston" album when it came out. Foreplay/Long Time is my favorite track on the album. Now....I'm also an amateur guitarist who has picked up the instrument after many years away. Hearing this young man's guitar playing just about makes me want to pack it in and take up golf. And...he plays, bass, drums, and keyboards well enough to hit this song out of the park. And let me add a big "holy shit" to the lead singer. Seriously great pipes and touch on a difficult song. Bravo guys. This really made me smile.
I played in a Boston-area band, and also knew Brad (although I could not call him a good friend). I actually saw him perform the year he died (when he was singing mostly a Beatles set). It's just too bad that nobody saw it coming. The seventies was a decade of really great album rock, and great rock anthems, and this song here, and this album, definitely rank among the best. Brad's voice and Tommy's guitar created an amazing new sound that sounds fresh and clear to this day.
Yeah, I was gonna say that Tom really needs to hear those two singers. That kid on the high harmonies is scary. Ain't nobody with human DNA sings like that...
Keith - Tom would be so proud, to see a young man like he once was playing all the instruments. Tom is absolutely brilliant, and we miss Brad so much! Greetings from Canada.
The fact that this still has a foothold in our hearts 💕almost 50 years later. Is incredible. But true. No one can ever take this away from us. Cheers y'all. See ya round
There’s just something about it. I love watching the incomprehensible drumming in Foreplay. I’ve been studying it for years. I think it’s some kind of paradiddle.
While that may be true, there were actually back up vocals on the original version of the song as well, so two or more people were going to be singing on that song anyway.
Dude! The lead singer dude! You gave me chills hearing that hi note on the break. You sang it like Brad Delp and made the hair of my neck stand up! You guys rocked! Tom Sholz should be calling the lead singer to join Boston.

Not sure, I want to know if there's sheet music for drums?
racefan32 It was a joke.
+David James yeah, because he is looking like he is reading the sheet music for the clapping part, which is hilarious.
hehehehhehe
"clapping notation...........very important"................???
Well duh...............the song would lose part of its flavor if the clapping wasn't there.
There are a few parts of "More Than A Feeling" that has clapping that some people probably don't know even exists.
And where is the sheet music for the clapping part above?
It's in the bottom hand hand corner of the screen..............(8^)
awesome job! Not your usual cover song..
VERY GOOD.
