“We rarely see people hold MUSLIMS and people of other faiths to the expectations they hold us Christians to. *Who is calling for Islam to embrace gay marriage? Who is calling for the Quran to be updated to modern norms? Yeah, I thought not. It is at the same time patronising to people of others faiths and intolerance toward Christians. Shame!* But in the words of St Athanasius of Alexandria: “If the world is against the truth, then I am against the world”

Your point might be valid if a large population of Muslims were trying to promote sharia law be the law of the land in the US. Of course Christians would be horrified at that. People trying to push their religious beliefs on others and enshrine it into law - no thanks. If you understand that, then now you understand why Christianity in America gets the resistance it does. The rest of us don't want your religion just like you don't want other religions.

The only thing that’s running low on time is Christianity’s relevance as a religion 😂 Young people don’t care about religion to hardly the same degree as some of you old clowns. The only religious imagery I have in my apartment where me, my gay harem, and our girlfriends live (and no children to annoy us, thank the devil) is a statue of Satan from the Satanic Temple. We don’t have to convert. This is how people want to live now. ❤
Frankly, public schools don’t promote us like the news makes them out to. We get our followings online. I was converted by furries who showed me I could channel my animal self by denying the spirit. As a raccoon I’m granted immense power at night when the angels can no longer see. Do you know why furries dress up like cartoon Disney characters? How else would we hide our true forms? 😂 It’s not even a secret. Y’all just refuse to listen.
Our plan has been clear and on the table for decades, hun. The ball got rolling centuries ago. The Magna Carta was our founding document. Now we have free love, elections open to all, freedom of religion, freedom of press, freedom to congregate. It’s wonderful, isn’t it? No reason for us to hide anymore 🏳️‍🌈
The war is lost. May Satan keep you company as your world darkens. ❤👹

      @Unloadonyou 6 місяців тому +44

I'm not a Frank apologist and I felt strange when he said it, but I realized what he's trying to say is that often times as Christians we want things we ought not want. Paul made a similar statement in Romans 7: 15, 18-19, " I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. . . For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do-this I keep on doing."
We have a nature that genuinely wants to do the things that are popular in the world. We really do want the things that go against God's will, but that's how we know that we have a sinful/fallen nature. My desire for evil should awaken in me a desperate need of Christ.

And I like the mention that for two thousand years nobody thought Scriptures said this, but when you said a hundred years ago, I could already hear the counter argument that up until a similar time people claimed that slavery was ok in the scriptures. Of course it doesn't, as people who were pro slavery were just looking for any sign and saw mere mentions of slavery existing and accepted that as a stamp of approval. But the point would still stand that for nearly two thousand years many people believed it did, and who's to say in the future christians and biblical scholars will change their mind about what is says about same sex relations, if they changed their mind on what it says about slavery? Frank changing his language from “attraction” to “behaviour” shows the culture has gotten to popular apologetics in a bad way.
The scriptures do not approve of same sex ATTRACTION. Lessening that to “behaviour” suggests that people don’t have the ability to, if not outright change, than stunt what is attractive to them.
This is a huge mistake, especially considering Jesus told us our thoughts are primary, and preconditions to our actions, and our actions are actually a reflection of our thoughts.
If we want to teach homosexuals the way to God, we cannot be convincing them they have no choice but to be attracted to whatever nature or the culture has convinced them of. We ought to be teaching them they can change their attractions with the help of God, and if God will not outright change them, he can certainly stunt them.

The Apostle Paul's "Personally I wish..." Hint - we are not perfect, we all have desires that are not holy and need to be controlled.
      Romans 7:13-20
13 Did that which is good, then, become death to me? By no means! Nevertheless, in order that sin might be recognized as sin, it used what is good to bring about my death, so that through the commandment sin might become utterly sinful. 14 We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin. 15 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. 17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. 18 For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. 19 For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do-this I keep on doing. 20 Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.

How about if a person sympathised with child molesters or murderers? Should they wish God did too? Of course not. There are things we KNOW to be wrong, no matter how much brain washing goes on. We should conform to God and not wish he conformed to us. That is crafting a God of our own image and nobody wants a God that is anything like me. You can take that to the bank.

Blew me away he phrased it like that, should have at least clarified. And while I understand what he might have been hinting at, God's word should change our attitude towards sin and disobedience. Of course we have a natural aversion to His commands and conviction, but our minds should then be changed to agree with His standards on everything. For example, I originally wished the Word was accepting of my alcoholism and lust. But I came to see it was my mind that needed to change, not God's word. We go from hostility, to acceptance, to affirmation. We can cut Frank some slack, but we can also admit it was dangerous to word it like he did, especially considering how it was likely understood by the crowd.

"It's a cultural phenomenon". The idea that a loving gay relationship is wrong entered Christian culture around 70 years ago as a conflation between preexisting theology about all non-reproductive secs being a sin - which protestants now reject - and the newly discovered trait called homoxesuality which was assumed to be a mental illness - which science now also rejects.
"Last 2000 years" is either ignorance or deceit. Homoxesuality is a newly discovered phenomenon. There is no Christian tradition on the issue before mid 20th cent. The concerns in the early church were secs with boys and feminization of a man who takes a submissive role in the act. Since medieval times, the concern was all non-reproductive acts including between husband and wife. Nothing to do with same-secs relationships being intrinsically wrong.

Let me push back on Frank’s argument. He says same sex marriage is a cultural phenomenon, not a biblical phenomenon. Here’s the problem with that argument: It is saying that when the Bible was written all truth about the text was locked, sealed, unchangeable, and fixed. However, if you study Christology you see that who the Church Fathers, biblical scholars and the Church understand Jesus Christ to be grows and expands from the 1st Century to now. This evolving understanding of Jesus can even be seen from Paul’s early writings (Thessalonians) to his later writings (Romans) in which he has a fuller Christology. Over time, we get a fuller sense of the identity of Jesus. I think this is mostly a positive thing. Over time, we can also get a fuller sense of other things: Justice, what it means to love your neighbor, human rights (which were very limited in Roman occupied Judea in Jesus’s time even though this is the culture that Frank wants to live under), and MARRIAGE. There is another cultural shift we are experiencing: Women in leadership and as the primary breadwinner in families. This is not a biblical phenomenon, it is cultural, but it does not make it anti-God or a sin.

  • @zen6107
    @zen6107 3 місяці тому +4

Jesus never condemned homosexual relationships. Furthermore, even if marriage had been practiced between a man and a woman for the past 2000 years, it doesn't mean it is always true. The feeling that someone is in a body of the wrong gender is never addressed in the Bible since it has only been acknowledged in the last 40 years. Like any new discovery, we must apply Biblical principals to it such as monogamy and full commitment in terms of relationships. An analogy would be AI. AI is fairly new, what about AI generated pornography? These are not real persons, just AI generated pixels on a screen. If we lust after it, is it lusting after another person?

Here's a simple reason why it's not approved. One of the original commands is to be fruitful and multiply. That latter part is impossible with those couples. They have to jump through hoops to even have children, which, ultimately, one of them is not the parent of the offspring. Not to mention, the relationships will always be more complicated between the child and the parents and whomever is involved. Things in the situation of parent and offspring are simpler when one follows God's way. If the child is biologically yours and your partner's, you don't have to look for a child. You have a mother and father who can fulfill their roles and have natural relationships. There are fewer hoops to jump through.

The Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit speak to each other and about each other like they are seperate people.
There are passages where God speaks in the first person in the Old Testament, and Jesus will quote these in the first person about himself. He will claim things that are titles of God alone about himself and tells us he can not only hear our prayers but has the ability to answer them too.
Psalm 95:7 - for he is our God
and we are the people of his pasture,
    the flock under his care.
Today, if only you would hear his voice,
Isaiah 43:13 - Yes, and from ancient days I am he.
No one can deliver out of my hand.
When I act, who can reverse it?”
Deuteronomy 32:29 - “See now that I myself am he!
There is no god besides me.
I put to death and I bring to life,
I have wounded and I will heal,
and no one can deliver out of my hand.
Two of these are God speaking in the first person, one about God.
John 10:27-30 Jesus speaking, - 27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”
It continues to 33 with the Jewish audience picking up stones to kill Jesus, he asks for what good works do you stone me, and they say not for good works, but you being a man make yourself out to be God.
    John 14:13-14
And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.
John 5:19-23 Jesus said that he does everything exactly as he see the Father does and does everything the Father does and that Jesus will be judge and the Father will judge no one.
John 8, Jesus says that he saw Abraham and Abraham didn't try to kill him like the Jews were and Abraham was glad to see him. John 8:58, Jesus said that before Abraham was, I AM, which is what God told Moses his name was.
John 1:1,14 Jesus is the Word who was there in the beginning with God, and who was God, who took on flesh and dwelt among us.
A human being is what I am. trenititybrehm is who I am.
God is what the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit are. One God, who is three people.
The only reason the Trinity exists is because scripture teaches that the Father is God, Jesus is God, and that the Holy Spirit is God.
Jesus said, "Destroy this temple (meaning his body) and in three days, I will raise it up!" He did not say his Father would raise him, although the Father and the Holy Spirit are each explicitly given credit for raising Jesus.
Isaiah 43:11, God said there is no savior besides him. Titus 3:6 Jesus is called our Saviour.
John 6:46, Jesus says no one has seen the Father, yet Abraham spoke face to face with God in Genesis 18:19, Moses spoke face to face with God in Exodus 33:11 and Moses and the elders of Israel went up Mount Sinai and saw the God of Israel seated on a throne and ate with him. Jacob wrestled with God in Genesis 32:22-32.
Jesus is the one who ascends and descends out of heaven and the appearances of God throughout the Old Testament is Jesus. This is why he said before Abraham was, I am in John 8:58
Gensis 19:24 "Then the LORD rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah-from the LORD out of the heavens." When LORD is all caps it's using God's holy name in Hebrew, and Abraham was just pleading face to face with God to not destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. Gen 19:24 says Yahweh rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah from Yahweh out of heaven.
Jesus is the Yahweh who spoke to Abraham face to face and called sulfur and brimstone out of heaven from Yahweh the Father.
Jesus is God with the Father and the Holy Spirit. Jesus IS the Messiah, friend. The Trinity is what scripture taught from the beginning because it is from the scripture that the idea of the tri-unity between the Father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit as being God teaches. Not something come up with later.
Mark 1:1-4, the very first verses of the very first chapter of what is cited as the very first Gospel calls Jesus God. It refrences Isaiah 40:3 and Malachi 3:1 where Yahweh says he will send his messanger who will be like a voice in the wilderness to make the way before he himself comes to his temple. Mark says John is that voice in the wilderness, making the way for Jesus. John 1:23 and Luke 3:4 also say the exact same things.
In Mark 10:18, Jesus said,"Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God." Meaning: "You call me good when only God is good, do you understand what you are calling me?" To further the point, Christ then lists the 6 commandments that relate to how people deal with each other and asks the man if he's followed those. The man says yes. Then, instead of listing the 4 commandments on how to relate to God and asking if he's followed those, Jesus tells the man, "Follow me," because following and worshiping Christ is following and worshiping God.
In Mark Jesus heals the paralytic man, but first, he tells him your sins are forgiven. The Pharisees around thought in their hearts this was blasphemy, because only God can forgive sins. Jesus instantly know what they were thinking and called them out on it, and said to prove to you I can forgive sins, get up and walk and the paralytic could walk. Jesus proved he is God for only God can forgive sins, only God knows the hearts of men (Jerimiah 11:20 and 17:10), and only God can heal people. Jesus did all three IN MARK'S GOSPEL, which is often considered the oldest of the four.
Read Hebrews 1:8-12. Old Testament scriptures are quoted that are talking about God creating the universe, and Hebrews 1:8-12 quotes them and attributes the Father calling Jesus God, the Lord who created the everything, who is eternal.
Hebrews 1:10-12 Is directly quoting Psalm 102:25-27, where the Psalm is talkling about Yahweh (God) and Hebrews is talking about Jesus, the Son.
    Philippians 2:5-7
Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, 6 who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, 7 but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men.
    1 Timothy 3:16
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifested in the flesh,
    Justified in the Spirit,
    Seen by angels,
    Preached among the Gentiles,
    Believed on in the world,
    Received up in glory.
    2 Peter 1:1
Simon Peter, a bondservant and apostle of Jesus Christ,
To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ:
    Revelation 1:17-18
And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. 18 I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.
    Isaiah 48:16
“Come near to Me, hear this:
    I have not spoken in secret from the beginning;
From the time that it was, I was there.
And now the Lord God and His Spirit
    Have sent Me.”
(God is speaking, saying he was there from the beginning, and that the Lord God and His Spirit sent him. The Trinity in the Old Testament.)
These next passages are about the Holy Spirit being a seperate person from the Father and the Son, and also being God.
    John 14:26
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
    John 15:26-27
But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. 27 And you also will bear witness, because you have been with Me from the beginning.
    John 16:13-15
However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. 14 He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. 15 All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.
2 Samuel 23:2-3 (David calling the Spirit God)
“The Spirit of the Lord spoke by me,
And His word was on my tongue.
3 The God of Israel said,
The Rock of Israel spoke to me:
‘He who rules over men must be just,
Ruling in the fear of God.
Acts 5:3-4 (Peter calling the Spirit God)
But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? 4 While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”

We have the writing of the disciples of the Apostles and the disciples of those disciples, and they not only quote much of the New Testament, but all the core idea of Christianty are present. Jesus being God, the Son of God, dying for sins, burial, resurrection, ascension to heaven.
We also have writing of Jewish and Pagan contemporary historians who were hostile towards Jesus, who say the same things : Jesus being worshipped as God, the Son of God, dying for on the cross, burial, resurrection.
The archeology matches the Bible perfectly all the way from Genesis through the New Testament.
It's mainly because of the archeology, "friendly" writers, and "hostile" writers mentioned above that the Jesus Seminar, who are PhD level ashiest/agnostics who study Christ and the Bible, concluded that Jesus really lived in Judea 2,000 years ago, was known as a miracle workers, died on the cross under Pilate, and that his disciples really believed they had seen him risen from the dead.
The fact that there are contradictions between manuscripts is often sited as proof against trusting scripture, when it actually does the opposite. The fact that there are so many manuscripts makes it easy to tell when someone changed one, and modern Bibles are transparent about any differences in the footnotes. Over 5,000 manuscripts in the original Greek and 20,000 in other lanuages. None of those differences found between manuscripts change anything about any core doctrines of Christianity, they are mainly a handwriting error on a letter or a different way to word something that means the same thing. There is 99.5% accuracy between the manuscripts according to scholars.
There is also all the undisigned coincidence between not only the four Gospels, but the rest of the New and Old Testaments too.
Matthew 2:22 talks about Joseph not wanting to return to Judea after fleeing to Egypt because Archelaus was ruling. That's all the info on that the Bible gives. Josephus, the Jewish historian, tells us about the things Archelaus did and how evil he was. Put these two peices of evidence together, we get the full picture.
This sort of thing happens through the text with the seemingly useless details matching up perfectly with extra Biblical sources, lending to the credibility of the text.
The Apostles willingness to be killed not for saying they believed Jesus had risen, but they knew he had risen, because they saw him.
If the tomb wasn't empty, they would've paraded the body around to stomp out any idea of Jesus being ressurrected, but Christianty spread because there was no body in the tomb.
If someone stole the body, why were nearly all the Apostles willing to be killed for saying they'd seen Jesus risen? They were thousands of miles away from one another before phones and the internet and were being threaten, tortured, and murdered for their claim. Not one "broke" and said it was a lie to save themselves.
It's because of the evidence that I believe in Jesus.

I find myself agreeing with a lot of the comments here about the odd statement Dr. Turek makes near the end when he says, "Personally I don't have a problem with it [homosexuality], but God knows better than me...."
I'm really not sure what he was getting at with that statement, but I hope he clarifies it in the future. If he was trying to show empathy, this is the wrong approach to make God sound like an unreasonable tyrant who doesn't understanding the human condition as well as we do. Rather, he could say something like, "There have been times when I thought this would all be easier if we just went along with 'love is love' because we sure do argue about this a lot and it tends to divide people sharply, but that's just my lazy sinful nature not wanting to contend with the clear truth of God's Word, and I need to repent of that. Jesus tells us that the Word of God is sharper than any two-edged sword, and so if we speak it truly it will be divisive. That's the point of the Word: to clearly separate those who wish to follow Christ from those who desire to remain in their sin. God's Word is clear and unambiguous: that's hard for people to accept, even me sometimes because I don't inherently like conflict, even when that conflict has a definite purpose in furthering the kingdom."

But because I'm a REAL SKEPTIC....and not a FAKER like you, I am able to SPECIFY what exact specific scientific evidence is necessary to convince me.
The reason you don't want to define that is because you REFUSE TO ACCEPT ANY EVIDENCE. It's easy to always claim, "that's not good enough"... while dishonestly claiming you'd accept evidence if it were "good enough".
      I'm merely asking:
WHAT EXACT SPECIFIC SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE ARE YOU WILLING TO ACCEPT.
The fact that you don't know...well that says volumes about you! Only honesty regarding your fake skepticism will allow you to see your facade.

You simply don't understand. I WAS an atheist. I KNOW the game. You are disinterested in any evidence. You only want me to send evidence that you will then make excuses about why it isn't good enough.
We can save everyone time when you abandon this FAKE SKEPTICISM and simply tell us WHAT EXACT SPECIFIC SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE that you are willing to accept.
The reason you CAN'T say is because there is NONE you'd be willing to accept. I was never interested in the evidence as proof...only to disparage the sender. That's simply dishonest biased cynicism.
A real skeptic is able to define WHAT EXACT SPECIFIC SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE he is willing to accept. Otherwise we can safely assume...none will suffice and that it is merely a time wasting device to frustrate those with evidence.
I can tell yoi EXACTLY what would overcome my skepticism of EVOLUTION or ABIOGENESIS or the BIG BANG. I've offered a test with a lot of cash up for bet on the radiometric dating scam. I'd be glad to collect your m9ney 8f you REALLY REALLY REALLY BELIEVE that radiometric dating works when the initial amount is unknown... non lab generated samples.
Regardless... being SCIENTIFICALLY SKEPTICAL has to be undergirded by REASON AND LOGIC...not mere silly assumptions. If you want me to accept your faith in naturalism I will gladly go over piece by piece why the evidence convinced me it is pure mythology. I have concrete expectations, names of scientists, peer reviewed scientific papers...etc.
You have your BIASED CYNICISM of God. You don't care about facts and evidence. You want NO GOD. I get it. It was nice when I was so delusional as to think I got to decide morality. I was free to lie, cheat and steal with NO REMORSE. Nietzche understood what very few God haters understand....the logical reasoning of nihilism. Maybe you aren't suicidal yet in the REALITY of your faith in the impossible you willingly ascribe to... but THINK harder....you'll get there soon enough. When you do... it's EMPTY...turn it upside down...nothing comes out. When you look at what Nietzche says
"For the happiness of the beast, like that of the complete cynic, is the living proof of the rightness of cynicism. The smallest happiness, if only it is uninterrupted and creates happiness, is incomparably more happiness than the greatest which comes only as an episode, as it were, like a mood, as a fantastic interruption between nothing but boredom, cupidity, and deprivation. "
The consummate atheist understands the above statement of hopeless worthlessness. You can CHOOSE differently...more logically. Or remain embedded in FAITH in what will go down as the biggest lie in the history of science. Naturalism is EASY to debunk with Naturalist scientist's results. It's become quite comical. But hey.... if it really floats your boat to personify and give worship the natural selection fairy... have at it. I had to leave that faith due to it's laughably absent unassumed observational scientific evidence. I am finally a skeptic.

I can see both sides of it, but let me just pose this question (with sincerity): Would people, that are focusing on this part as opposed to the entire thought that he conveyed, carry the same energy if he had said something like, "I wish we could lay in bed all day and watch T.V."? Or, "I wish we could pig-out on this chocolate cake"? Or, "I wish I could slap the person who just did me wrong or insulted my mother"? The only difference that I see between his "I wish" and my "I wish" examples is that I anticipate that many people would find my examples more digestible. More tolerable. That although people would still need to repent and submit to God's will and wisdom in my hypotheticals, somehow it's a little more innocuous in comparison. Thoughts?

And we can only know what His point of view is is if we read His word. Second of all, you cant claim to know who causes all the problems. You have no idea who is gay and who isnt unless they tell you different. So this also has nothing to do with whether someone is heterosexual or not. Many great leaders like Alexander the great were gay or bisexual. Generally the more perverted sexually someone is the more likely they will do some crazy stuff. 2:01 Ironically same with the Bible condemning homosexuality. There seems to be no such word even in the Hebrew Bible and in the Greek translation, the apostle Paul pretty much made up his own ("arsenokoites").
_it is significant that of all the terms available in the Greek language, Paul chose a compound from the Septuagint that in the broadest sense described men lying with men as they would lie with women._
The Sodom and Gomorrah wasn't meteor bombed because of homosexuality, as commonly taught, but because of what is written in that very story, very clear.
Christianity seems to have inherited the condemnation of homosexuality specifically, from the pagan religions, especially in norse and slavic countries, who's pantheons and associated beliefs were extremely judgmental of homosexuals and even condoned killing and torturing them, particularly those nowadays called "bottoms". Because in these tribal cultures it wasn't homosexual to rape a man to punish and humiliate him, providing the man being raped showed homosexual tendencies or was effeminate.
In Christianity, and sexual activity outside a lawful and consensual one consumed in marriage of a man and a woman is considered sin of lust. The Bible, as sort of expected, didn't seem to see the need to point out homosexuality specifically, nor was sex prior to marriage with a women any better for a God-fearing person.
In lieu of that I can see what the Matthew person is trying to say, a monogamous unity of two men, is still better in my eyes too, than simply being an average gay person (basically a Grindr addict). If two men, for example preserved their virginity until marriage and then were intimate and faithful to one-another, I have a feeling they'd do much better before G'd than a straight couple who cheat on one another, and lied their way into marriage, chastity included. Providing other "criteria/confounding" factors were the same in both cases.

I really do not think it's Biblical to say because a person is "born gay" therefore it's ok to practice homosexuality. A person is born with sin and that sin will make us attracted to, interest in, and want all forms of sin. Sexuality is just another area where we are tempted to be sinful creatures. A person can feel same sex attraction and repent, reject that, and have victory in their life over that sin; or they can struggle, repent, struggle, repent and have little or not victory over their life in that area. I'm a glutton, and I've also suffered same sex attraction most of my adult life. I have far more victory over the same sex attraction than I do the gluttony: why? Well, I practice one fairly consistently and I do not practice the other at all! The demonic thing/sin you feed is the demonic thing/sin that will keep harassing you! It's not rocket science. Everyone who is practicing homosexuality will find it is HARD to break free of that sin because they keep practicing it: whether it's in their thoughts, actions, words, deeds, hopes, dreams. Honestly, to break free of sin; you have to cut it off like it's a dead limb! That is the only way to have freedom. And it will be a fight the likes of which is not enviable by anybody. To break any stronghold, it will take a lot of prayer, denying one's own flesh, and it will take will power and completely removing said sin from one's life. If that means you no longer talk to, engage with, listen to, or watch something that once lead you to sin, well then that's what you do. That's why I am not having a lot of victory in my life in the area of gluttony. I am not willing to do whatever it takes to be free of gluttony. I'm playing patty fingers with the Devil and he's kicking my butt in that area. I'm palling around with him, and I'm not palling around with Jesus consistently in that area. The sin I feed is the one that harasses me.

Christians in Canada must boycott the Canadian KFC!

I'd agree with you on that, brother.
Personally, I don't eat fast foods. I believe every Christian should be cautious of all fast food joints. As well as avoiding ANY carbonated sugary soda drinks. They're toxic junk for your body. There's nothing beneficial about them whatsoever.
And they should absolutely avoid the "halal meals" from KFC.

Dang Frank… you wish in your natural state apart from God’s will and way and word that God’s word said it was cool with same-sex behaviors in a committed relationship as Matthew Vines would put it?
