How to check a Turbo!

Not making Boost? Here's a quick check you can do to see if your turbo is bad. There are many things that can stop you boosting but make sure you check this first!
This is an extreme example of a bad turbo we removed from a Ford transit but the same principle applies to all turbos. So you can do this check on anything!

That turbo is wrecked! So much play in that turbine.

My turbo wastegate isn't even connected to the turbo.. whats the part number for this turbo I can't find it on my turbo
