That gauge is not showing boost pressure. That's showing wastegate diagram pressure. You need to connect to the intake pressure sensor, not the wastegate diaphragm.
No, wastegate releases the pressure, some turbos are recirculating with a diverter valve which recirculates the pressure. A blow of valve replaces that and releases the pressure into the atmosphere
@@Jayakumarkpable not 100% sure tbh. Atmospheric turbos generally have a bov, you can buy bov for recirculating turbos, I believe forge do an intake kit, but from what I understand both have their pros and cons.
I love how you transferred the information to an actual engine. Please make more using different vehicle models. Thank you!
The best part is you also demonstrated how to test an old school diesel turbo
Thank you, I now have some options to investigate before looking at the turbo itself. cheers.
The best & correct & simple demo of boost leak. Thank you so much.
What a cracking video, Great explanation mate .... Stay safe Regards Andy
Love the boost gauge mounting ahah
Great work very informative
great video,learned a lot.please more video,s like this. thanx
On my car that actuator (west gate) is for variable vanes
also underboost can be caused by clogged DPF :/
Wats DPF?

Great. Very clear. Where can you purchase these tools. I do have a plug in OBD11 but it is not wireless and has a screen. Would this do?
this is incredible. great video!
What a great video , thank you for sharing
Great video
Best video on given subject
Very good informative video. Thank you
A really nice video
A good video man. However, what OBD2 app do you guys recommend to use for pressure test?
Torque lite works for me
awesome and educative video on turbo... YeShua bless you ..
Thor will bless you , he is the one and only.

Tengri bless you
Great video 😅
Thank you and Well done
I have an insignia bi turbo - how do i check each turbo is working? does the software check both?
That was creepy the way you caressed the intercooler pipes. 😳
Excellent well explained.
That gauge is not showing boost pressure. That's showing wastegate diagram pressure. You need to connect to the intake pressure sensor, not the wastegate diaphragm.
The wastegate gains pressure between the compressor and the engine. It is connected correctly.
Correct on diesel engines
Is wastegate also known as blow off valve?
No, wastegate releases the pressure, some turbos are recirculating with a diverter valve which recirculates the pressure. A blow of valve replaces that and releases the pressure into the atmosphere
@@leftfootforward1181 thank you! Does that mean blow off valves cause less power from turbo relative to a waste gate?
@@Jayakumarkpable not 100% sure tbh. Atmospheric turbos generally have a bov, you can buy bov for recirculating turbos, I believe forge do an intake kit, but from what I understand both have their pros and cons.
Where can I buy this pressure pump. I can't find it ?
It's at harbor freight. I can't link to the site, but it's part number/sku is 56803
It does both positive pressure and vacuum pressure.
Please another also
I learn more thanks
Very informative
thank you
Hey! Are you okay TutoBuild?
Has anyone ever wonder 🤔 who came up with this idea like how the system works,
Bro you high asf 🤣🤣🤣
the reader sound is too low , to understand for those who hearing bad , and the undertext is not available
Nice
Well, It would have been beneficial for me if I watched an hour ago, before my turbo diesel will go full on oil
Can i adjust the wastegate to gain more boost?
You need remap ecu for more boost
You can fit manual boost control wich tricks the wastegate..allowing extra boost
Super
When I heard AI narrative I moved along swiftly.. (after writing this comment ) 🤣
