Best advice probably is that you mentioned to give the turbo a cooling down phase, also don't save on the oil, the high performance ones often last longer and change regularly. Next to that is how the engine is treated under cold conditions, not to rev it too high, diesel engines take a decent time (distance driving) to heat up and the modern ones even more due to environmental regulations these stay colder and if diesel engines are taken on short distances only they often not reach the higher (needed) temperatures before pushing the throttle and they will clog up by time which leads to all sorts of problems. An added oil temp gauge for drivers to watch would probably help most engines to survive longer periods - at least drivers would know what is going on there. Also if a broken turbo is being replaced always figure out what the real cause of its failure was, it can happen easily a second time even when a turbo is replaced with a factory new one - the mistake often is not the turbo itself but details you mentioned in your presentation.

I always thought electrical connections on Volkswagens are green from stock and that they are supposed to be green, because it's some kind of special feature? ;) SCNR

    I have question.
I bought a used Volvo with turbocharger Engine.
I found out the oil return line om the turbo is bended and nearly clogged.
Why do you think they did that? What is the purpose? Is it good if i unclogged it?

As long as it is not obstructed in anyway you are good to go for oil flow
