Agreed! Even if it they lower the drop chances of the bags, I think it is kind of too cool to just stop happening at the end of the event. It adds something fun and rewarding to literally chase after.
And weekly caches from world bosses, the 4 caches you get from the weekly gauntlet including the uniques they drop.. pretty much any item coffer will create level 55 ilvl 925 gear, as long as it was collected on a level 100 character and then transferred to an alt.
@@muhdazeim6834 The crafted uber uniques are all level 35 required. If you put a high level gem in it, it will bump that up to the gem level, but the gem can be removed and return it to level 35 required.
Great tips! I hand't thought of the Sigil trick! One of my favourite things in D4 is levelling new characters, as weird as that is, so I'm loving the fact that there's a good synergy between high level and alts, and being able to quickly gear up etc... it totally ticks all the boxes for me!
Also another tip, the goblins take a long time to escape as will so don’t chase after them just try to get as many kills as you can to spawn more goblins
One thing I noticed when doing a greed shrine event. 3-4 goblins spawned and I decided to complete the event before hunting the goblins. Goblins scattered and I only managed to kill 2 with the others despawning. So basically focus the goblins, which is easier said than done as a blizzard sorc 😂
Edit: You want to be very careful and separate any items that the goblins themselves drop (99+% not account bound, ubers are) and items from the bags (pretty sure 100% account bound) I think that might be the discrepancy. @@mindfreaktsa7680 On an empty inventory, I just (as of the time of this comment) opened 23 Treasure Bags and 2 Greater Treasure Bags and all 56 items came out as Account Bound. Do you have a description or better a VOD of how you received an item that wasn't Account Bound? I'm unable to replicate your situation. I'm more than willing to update my understanding if you can identify the factors that cause the items to be tradeable.

@@SservisGaming Hmmm now this is interesting, I'm pretty sure that till I played yesterday (pre patch) even the loot from normal yellow 925 bags were not necessarily Account bound but I could be wrong... That being said most of my goblin loot came from the Extra Shrines NMDs and not open world so you may wanna test that out? This event is best for people that was thinking about creating other characters and level up with them because you can be showered with 925 items at lvl 55 plus you will get so many items that will help for aspects too. And of course exp event. So easy to level up rn

Yep that's the way to go Popping the Treasure bags netted me full farming gear Ancestral 55 to run the entire wolf rep quest line on multiple Necros quickly. Whisper Caches can do the same if they were farmed in WT4 btw

i dunno, think they mightve fixed the lowlevel grinding... i did NM Tier 90+ and got Greed Shrines every 2ish shrines, sometimes back to back, then i tried the Tier 26+ and all i got were Blast Wave Shrines, Artillery Shrines and CDR Shrine... when i went with my friends around tier 50-60, there were Greed Shrines every 3-4 Shrines. So its probably the higher the better if you've got the gear
I THINK the amount of goblins that spawn are not based on the kills but on the gold that you spawn while you have the buff. So running a level 100 NM dungeons with tankier monsters that take more hits, spawns more gold (as it is gold when you hit enemies?). Tho I am not entirely sure. It definitely gets you more GOLD tho ^^ Correct me if I am wrong here please. edit: i just tested it. It's about how much you gold you can generate by hitting enemies. Tankier enemies = more hits = more gold = more goblins

I picked up Fractured Winterglass last night by killing four goblins that I chased into a dead-end in a random lvl 100 dungeon. I still have to fight uber boss Lord Zir, but at least I don’t have to farm that piece. Also picked up tons of other uber uniques that I already had with slightly different stats.
My stats so far: 4 "shrine mod" NMD T40-45. 1 jackpot of Greed Shrine + Dungeon Event (net 5 bags). 3 other I got 1-2 greed shrines per run and 2+ bags per shrine. So the total is 5 + 2 + 2 + 2 ~ 12 bags in 4 runs. However the amount of GAs wasn't higher or noticeably higher than Helltide key plugs for mini liliths. And every NMD run I took my time to go around every nook and corner to look for that shrine so they took 7-8 min each, totaling to half to 3/4 of a helltide. Long story short - I don't believe this way of farming GAs is better than helltide key plugs, they seem to be at the top if you have a build that can kill mini lilith in 10-15 seconds, it's definitely faster.
Speaking of level requirements, UBER Uniques *only* have a level requirement of 35. THIRTY FIVE. So if you've farmed your sparks, get that Harlequin Crest ASAP! It is the best one by far with 20% DR and +4 to all casting skills (sadly not passives but oh well) Want to know how to farm those sparks? Using the above information that Raxx mentioned about gear level requirements, you *only* should farm for Iron Wolf rep on Tier 2. Just level an alt to 55. Jump to tier 3 to get those last 5 levels (10 if you want to use better gems). If you have maxed urns, you'll earn 120 rep per chest, and they're ALL with only a 100 cinder cost. Whereas tier 3 and 4 you get all sorts of random scaling based on cinders: 60 rep per 75 chest, which isn't worth it. You get the exact same amount of iron wolf rep from killing the blood maiden on any difficulty so if all you need is rep, farm on Tier 2 where you can just blast her over and over. I've never had a lazier run with a necro minion build than this season and I got it suuuper fast. Also I did whispers on all difficulties to give my alts some boosting gear. Do those at 100 so you have max item level and you get normal, sacred and ancestral gear topped off.
So, why would you farm goblins? Gear for alts is one, but anything else? I reckon helltide would still be more loot than running nightmare dungeons with shrine affix, no?
Had a greed shrine spawn right next to the blood queen area once with 4 or 5 of us there. I couldn't stop laughing with how many goblins and orange stars were on the map. I think I ended up loosing some loot because there was just too much on the floor and I noticed they were disappearing :/.
hey im level 57 , can i get l higher item power gear in regular game without any new character? I only get 600 item power max... i have not finished campaign . no goblin or boss ever drop sanuything more than 600 item power i do get occasional uniques though
Has the loot from goblin treasure bags been untradeable the entire event? I've made a billion gold farming NMD goblins and I find it hard to believe that the loot I sold to players ALL came directly from goblin/boss drops and not their treasure bags. Could be wrong, idk.
I like how bad the greed shrines were before this event and now they're great. It'll be a shame when this event is over and they go back to being useless. I feel like I am constantly on the lookout for greed shrines when doing dungeons because they're amazing.

5 Shrine Dungeons = 1 Greed Shrine for me. I was able to craft about 40 sigils with Shrines. I think this event is not made for me, esp. while farming solo.
With respect, unless you're doing this to try and get an alt god tier gear, it's absolutely not worth your while compared to just camping the boss in a Helltide. First of all, you can get screwed on the shrines. You can go three or four extra shrine dungeons without seeing one Greed shrine. Second, this works best when the shrine itself is cursed. Otherwise, your build better be able to fly through the dungeon to maximize goblin spawns. If not, you get two, maybe three, then the buff falls off. Third, some dungeon's are just trash to run this through. If you get a dungeon with "slay all" and then that area doesn't have a greed shrine, you're just wasting your time. You probably have plenty of sigil powder to burn, so that's not the issue, but overall, goblin farming kind of sucks as an end to itself. Send the loot bags to an alt, but otherwise, stick to Helltide for raw numbers.
I figured this strat would be shit cus I just got super unlucky on goblins in the helltide greed shrines. Figured after a single nm dungeon run that it's probably just the nm dungeon greed shrines that are OP lol because my first nm greed shrine I got 9 goblins to pop assuming each dropped 2 random boss materials :')
Is fractured winterglass drop rate bugged? I've seen many forum posts about it. I've killed zir 70 times so far and no drop. Very odd to see them not addressing it in the hot fix.

You can do the same trick with whisper caches. I farmed with my level 100 and opened with them my lower alt to get 925's at level 55
Even better you can gather cinders in normal and then spend them in hell

Teleport on them for a stun! Had the same issue myself
You can also freeze them with frost nova. But make sure you are on top of them or it won't affect them

cursed greed shrines are RIDICULOUS with this event... For your alts, dont forget the levelling caches between levels 20-50

They can drop from gob bags. But yes 70 kills for just one unique is silly.
