    Level: Intermediate
    Equipment needed:
    Set of Dumbbells for arm & exercises (I used 5lbs and 10 lbs but you can use the same weights throughout!)
    This is a Full body wall pilates workout with weights. We are upping the challenge each week by incorporating more weight into our wall pilates workouts! This is a pilates and strength workout, where we include both pilates inspired moves and add dumbbells for an increased strength challenge. This is a great routine if you are looking for a pilates with dumbbells / pilates with weights workout. This workout contains wall pilates exercises, standing pilates with weights to work on strength and balance. This is a great routine if you are looking for a wall pilates workout for weight loss, as strength training is a helpful component to a weight loss exercise routine to maintain muscle tone while in a deficit. This routine is a 30 min Pilates and strength workout that I hope will challenge and strengthen you!

    This was such a great video! Thank you for including modifications for the quadruped position! I started doing this modification a while ago when you first suggested it! It has made a HUGE difference in my workouts! I also love love love the wall sits with weights! Such a great challenge! And woooooh! Lifting the heels!. Holy hell my quads are gonna be sore tomorrow!!

I hurt my back when I was 16, but since I started following your workout plans in January, I’ve noticed that my back has gotten a lot stronger and the pain has become more manageable.     Well that's it, 28 days finished and I really can't thank you enough. I can actually see a visible difference in muscle tone, even my husband has noticed! And that little roll of fat at the base of my abdomen that I thought I'd never lose has actually lifted slightly. I am definitely going to keep doing your classes daily.. Thank you so much!

    I have absolutely loved learning wall Pilates. Thank you, Rachel, for sharing this workout with us. I’m 60 and quite lean, but it’s because I keep myself in check. In fact, I’ve enjoyed your workouts so much, I’ve been finding excuses not to go back to the gym to lift weights! I know I should do a combination, but I’ve really been favoring your workouts. Because I’m already pretty strong (said with a great deal of humility), I think I need to look at your site and try some of the strength workouts for greater challenge. Need to up my game!     Hi , I started your exercises and love your videos. You explain everything in such a way that is effortless to follow for me . I am pregnant and T1D. I am not overweight. In fact I have always normal or underweight for my height. I have struggled my whole life to tone my butt and legs as well as strengthening my upper body. I am wondering, do these exercises truly yield results . If I consistently do them every day will I notice any improvement in muscle tone ? Either way, I think it’s a good thing for my body to do and I definitely feel less locked up since I’ve started. I’m just curious if I will see visible results.
    And as everyone else comments, I must thank you for posting these videos, it’s wonderful to have access to your knowledge at no cost. I think you are truly benefiting countless numbers of people by doing this. ❤

      Yes if u are consistently challenging yourself more than usual, esp with weights, you will have more muscle tone by challenging the muscles enough to stimulate change. I would try some of my pilates x strength workouts and make sure to check with your physician before doing wall pilates esp later into pregnancy. There are no studies on it for me to be able to say it’s safe for everyone

    I love waking up to working out with you Rachel,I did the 28 day walk Pilate 2 or 3 times can’t remember . Oops need some memory work lol . That for sure prepared me for this workout . Today is my 68th birthday and could not have ever pictured myself exercising at this age . Thank you for inspiring me ❤

    Day 27 (22nd July) I have been doing the last few days on my mobile at the gym so haven't been able to comment as easily! Am so proud of myself for taking on this 28 day challenge, I definitely have begun to start noticing a difference especially in my stamina of holding flex ups/ab curls! will do tomorrows one before we go away for a week and then to decide which challenge to start next!
    Thank you so much for getting me started on my journey with your fun sometimes easy most times challenging workouts can't wait to see where I am six-months down the line!!

      Yes I do have 4 different ones! The best way to follow is to follow the calendars and just click the pictures for each day

    I’m already in very good shape and strong but am trying to do exercises and workouts that aren’t as impacting like running. Do you have advanced wall Pilates? These are easy and there isn’t enough sets or reps. But I do like it, just need more. Thanks.

      I totally get it! No- I had asked my community if they wanted an advanced wall pilates challenge or a pilates + strength training challenge, and they wanted pilates + strength. I know pilates body by Kayla makes some more advanced ones. Maybe I will in the future if there is more interest!

    Any suggestions to get over the dizziness I feel when I lay flat on my back? I really enjoy these workouts but it's not a fun time being dizzy

      Hmm maybe try a back wedge? We use those on the reformer with pregnant clients to avoid lying flat. If u search “wedge for back” you should be able to find some options. Although I would not use it for the wall Pilates feet on the wall portions.. u may need to avoid those movements. And if the dizziness is not something u have addressed with your doctor I would recommend it!

      @@rachelsfitpilates Yes thank you! I did mention it to my dr....since I have had vertigo in the past....they just attribute it to that....which bums me out bc I did try the wall pilates and feel it is a really good workout!

      I have some other workouts that don't lie on your back as much, anything that is not listed as "wall pilates" may be better suited for you!

    Real question. How can i do the exercise at the 908 time stamp if my stomach is in the way?

      If you find it comfortable with your legs up against the wall, you can keep the same starting position but rather than lifting your shoulders off the ground and reaching for your toes (which folds u in at an angle) you can try to lift your shoulders off the ground and “reach” towards the ceiling rather than your toes. Same for the side reaches, rather than reaching to opposite foot u can reach to corners of the ceiling. I hope that makes sense. You can also do it with knees bent, feet flat on the ground if that’s more comfortable. The main goal is making the upper abs work, using them to get the upper back off the ground, and any of those modifications will still allow you to challenge them in that way!
