Level: Beginner with Intermediate options
This is an intense 20 min Wall Pilates workout for full body toning, adding in weights to up the intensity. As a busy mom of 2 I am always looking for quick and effective workouts that are easy to fit into my day! One of the ways we can up intensity and calorie burning is to add weights. For this workout, we add dumbbells to up the intensity and perform single leg exercises for glute work. Dumbbells are optional and if you are beginner I recommend not using them for glute work until you feel you comfortable bridging on the wall without them. As a Pilates instructor I program my Wall Pilates workouts to help you progress to more advanced versions of the exercises in Pilates. These exercises are building blocks to help strengthen you. If your goal is "toning", the best way to achieve this is by resistance training + diet changes if losing weight is a goal of yours. If you need resources for diet, I am happy to make recommendations to professionals who can help :) I hope you enjoy this workout!

Thanks for this challenge, day one complete! I'm in my 60s and walk 10,000 steps. I've been wanting to add strength training and stretching so this will be perfect. My hamstrings have always been tight, I'm excited to see what I'll feel like at the end of the month.

This was such a welcome change! It's been such a long time since you've posted a wall Pilates workout! I thoroughly enjoyed the addition of the walls sits with the weights! It brought a nice amount of heat to the body! Will definitely be repeating this one!

Hi ! I'm new here watching your videos from France. I've loved the first workout but would have liked to know how and when to breathe 🥰🙏
And the mat is slippery on the floor , I don't know what to do ! Does anybody have a trick ???
So glad u loved it! Typically breathing on the harder part of the movement is best but because I make classes for mostly beginners, I try not to focus too much on the breath. Research shows that it can hinder movement in beginners so I try not to overwhelm 😊
