Yo Sponge, is it true that you once saw GB in a cowboy hat and you yelled “save a horse, ride a dawg” and that’s why we haven’t gotten an interview yet, brah brah?
Say it ain't so brah, brah.
Yo Sponge, you said that hundreds of people recognised you at the last festival you went to, but how many of them confused you for bran flakes brah brah?
the finest flakes in the sea brah brah
i thoght he waas a box of mini wheats brotown - must be his sweet frosted behind!!!!
Sponge is far too porous to be mistaken for anyone else.
The Dumbo was mistaken for a bulkier Hulk Hogan Headed Stretch Armstrong many times
An Abbath interview would definitely be the most entertaining video ever!
" He turned his eyelids inside out " 😂
A J Dawg / Abbath interview would go viral
Abbath??? Was he in Crucifed Mortals back in the day? I'm drawing a blank....
Truth is Melissa and Don't Break The Oath send the rest of King Diamond discography (including Mercyful Fate and King Diamond) home on a STREEEEEEEEEEEEEETCHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEER
No respect for Conspiracy or Abigail?
@@PlutoTheGodAbigail is one of the best
Nah bro, Legend Of The Headless Rider has some of the SICKEST Riffs of all time
Cookie cutter, new fan opinion.
abbath interview needs to happen, that would be epic as hell
5:22 Guilty as charged haha! We NEED that Pat Ranieri / Hellwitch interview!
Pretty sure Dawg said he never listened to them before a couple months ago, I’m not a fan of their later albums vocally but Syzygial is one of the greatest albums I’ve ever heard. Pat is also a super cool guy
Love it. More rank videos! Or maybe tier lists
I do get a lot of recommendations from you and they are always amazing!!
0:22 - what the hell, if you turn on the captions, youtube actually censored when the Dawg said ''Abbath'', I don't get why. lol
It’s anti semetic brah brah
"A butt... A butt!"
“In The Shadows” and “Time” are basically a tie for me for top Fate albums of the 90s.
All of the Fate albums are killer! 🤘🏻
I find "fatal Portrait" and "Abigail" by King better than fate's 90s stuff but still they are killer
JDawg in 2024: "Some newbie ham & egger who just got into the band last week."
JDawg interviewing Cardiac Arrest in 2023: "My favorite is the new one! Wait--it's a reissue from 2008? What's the new album then?"
Well, at least he can listen to the new one now. 😂
Time is my favourite, followed by Into the unknown, In the shadows, Dead again and 9
If Maybe someday JD could interview pat o'brien that would be fn epic
Would be fire! Lol
I doubt pat would be interested lol. Maybe I'm mistaken though.
Conspiracy is my favorite King Diamond album, that’s some shit you’ll probably never hear someone say lmao
I don't know if its my favorite but I'd rank it in the top 3 for sure
Great album.
I know quite a few guys that love that record. My favorite is Them but Conspiracy is right behind it.
Hey JDawg -- Question: What do you think about Sacrifice: Torment in Fire? I've always considered it a first generation death metal album in the same vein as Seven Churches and feel it's even heavier in a lot of ways, with riffs similar to Scream Bloody Gore at times. Keep doing the devil's work \m/
Forget Mercyful Fate albums (from the 90's) when is HH gonna stock Gutalax's "Art of Shitting" DVD???
Haha the almighty Gutalax! MMMHMMMM never anywhere else do you get to see porta potties crowdsurfing.
Thanks brah
Yo j dawg, what are your thoughts on Mike mentzers and dorian yates' high intensity training style started by Arthur jones, who organised the Colorado experiment back in the 70s where each exercise is 1 set to muscular failure? Do you think it's an effective method or not
Bodybuilding is an illness.
@@sothis1448you are gay
Sponge, who would win in a Krabby Patty eating contest king diamond or king fowley? My money is on fowley bro town that BOY seems like he could put them back no probskis.
Depends on if we’re talking Krabby #1s or Pretty Patties brotown
I saw the very last 9 tour show before they went on hiatus. Awesome show, and a travesty they’re ignoring those albums
In The Shadows, Time and 9 are all perfect albums!
Yo sponge, is it true that the guys from arghoslent are connected with the original boys in the hood brah brah?
heard that as well brah brah?
@@steelstorm666 they might be they always talk ab slaves and horses lol
This video popped up in my recommendations. I love the 90s Mercyful Fate albums! I spent most of my 20s chasing their guitar tones on In The Shadows, Time and Into The Unknown. I owe everything to Hank Shermann for why I stuck to playing single coils with heavy distortion. For guitar players, there are some seriously awesome tones on those albums and in MF fashion, they're jam packed with great riffs.
9 is a great album. It's almost like their Thrash album. The only album I'm not really fond of is Dead Again, but that's not to say it's a bad record. Mike Wead has some great solos in those songs that remind me a bit of his work in Memento Mori.
What about HHR establishing a new sub-label called "Pec Tear Records" and what genres would it specialize in?
BDM with scientific / medical terminology for band names and song titles. My guess...
@@corystafford4958 Cory brah, that would be *KVLT!* *\m/*
Hectare Records
Very unusual ranking brah! Here is mine;
1. Time
2. In the shadows
3. Into the unknown
4. Dead again
5. 9
Abbath is pretty funny hope u get to interview
I can confirm, I've placed loads of orders on HHR due to J Dawg's interviews
you placed loads on Jdawg
Same
Charon and Halloween
Melissa is the best metal album to come out in the 80's, end of conversation.
9 is great \m/
I looove fatal Portrait bruh bruh \m/

Two timing that Macadamia Nut Oil haha, I'll put that one on my next steak before I go on another long hiking trip brah brah

Big LOL, the Dumbo thinks “Dead Again” is a classic 😅😅😅 Nice take DumboDawg the Destroyer
It’s uneven but still has some killer riffs

I'm a huge fanatical of the Dead Again album.
@@Voorhees_Metal_Productions yeah that's VERY believable
@@Leave_The_Hall_69 Tape on that mouth shut!
In the shadows or dead again I can’t pick
I'd pay to see Dawg interview Varg
Varg isn't leaving France brah brah
One's neck looks scrawny when you get all blowed up like that. You gonna have to do some windmill headbangs in your routine to get that neck swolt. Haha
2:57 did he say pacifically?
Dawg’s favourite ocean, if you happen to give a fuck
So ironic I’m on a MF/KD kick lately, almost sent this question as a paidski even! The nineties were AWESOME for both and I LOVE The Graveyard and 9 even. Dead Again has grown on me, and of course everything before is top notch especially In The Shadows. Better reunion than Maiden has done in my opinion
You can't expect these wimps to be able to handle any kind of crap talking. They think having an opinion is gatekeeping.
Couldn't have said it better myself haha.
My ranking is almost completely inverted from the Dawgs although I’d put Time over Into the unknown. Dead Again is a massive snooze fest. Sounds totally phoned in. In the shadows and Time send it home on a stretcher bleeding from all orifices and crying for mummy. 😂
I love all of their albums. Even my least favorite is still great. 1. DBTO 2. Melissa 3. In the Shadows 4. Time 5. Dead Again 6. Into the Unknown 7. 9
🤘🏻
If the Dawg says you can't like it then you can't like it. PLAIN AND SIMPLE.
You mean DA DAWG.
MF is my shit. Dead Again is the one album I struggle with. The rest range between masterpieces and good at the "low end".
King Diamond rules of course. Past Conspiracy I really am not that much of a superfan despite the material being quite good.
If I were to rank the KD catalogue, I would put 'Them' in the bottom three. It just goes WAAYY overboard on the storytelling, and not enough actual music. Slow chugging riff going along with a description of grandma brushing her teeth, and then we go into a faster Andy LaRoque shred that feels completely disconnected.
5. 9
4. Dead Again
3. In the Shadows
2. Into the Unknown
1. Time
"Know A-bath?! Take one every night!"
"Not A-bath...
A-BUTT!... A-BUTT!!!"
Best 90’s MF album is TIME. Facts brah brah!
At the Sound of the Demon Bell is the best, and most progressive song from Melissa
My fave one
"Uninvited guest" is one killer track from 90's
and a badass music video, as kavault as it gets
Best 90’s MF album is Dead Again brah brah
nope. its ITS and Time.
But if you were to name it "Wounded Peck Records" that also would fit the bill.
Woodpecker?
Time
In the Shadows
Into the Unknown
9
Dead Again
Gonna have to call you out brah brah.
@@Voorhees_Metal_Productions oh no😨
I don’t like Dead Again. As far as King Diamond I don’t like The Graveyard and Abigail 2.
I know someone. I sent a message.

In The Shadows is such a good album and my favorite Mercyful Fate.

Hey gay Dawg, why do the steroids built most of your muscles but your tiny neck? I would imagine you head bang all the time, but not because of the music, but because your neck can't hold up your head very well

Stop spamming. You’re so cringe.
ITS and Time are the only two great 90s Fate albums.
Dawg overtrains. You get bigger by doing less days a week.
I train 4 days a week brah brah just like Dorian Yates. Recovery is vital. I do cardio every morning but that helps you grow if eating enough still, dosen’t impeed recovery. Helps insulin sensitivity and digestion and all health markers improve
@@justinhorval8491 4 is the absolute max. i see idiots doing 6 days a week and they never get bigger.
Fate's In the Shadows is the best comeback album in all of metal.
The irony of the Dawg criticising other interviewers is what’s cringe.
