Cat’s a fuckin pooooooser then. Probably into the twinkcore on the down low
Warlord's Deliver Us is definitely up there with the greatest Heavy Metal releases of all time!
RIP Bill Tsamis - the founder and songwriter - he passed away a couple years ago. Other band members are continuing the band though (with his blessing) and there's actually a new album out this year!
That sounds awful, thanks Gamer
Its a good album, but i wouldn´t put it among the best

The Dawg is unhinged!
That’s what happens when he sees a Mushroomhead hoodie when he goes to hot topic to buy their clearance Cannibal Corpse tees.

I just did on this channel.
Oh yeah deeeeeeeeeeeefinitely hoping for that Matti Kärki interview.
Other albums out today are Tyger of Pan Tang’s Live Blood and Darkthrone’s It Beckon us All
That new Darkthrone grooves so hard!

A song I haven't heard in years that someone from HS shared last night - Anacrusis - Paint a Picture.
Warlord were Gods, Tsamis' sense of melodie and composition is otherworldly masterful.
But Maiden of the 80's you know, were unbeatable by anyone. Say what you want, they owned the fukking 80's : became a fan in 1983, and it was such an insane thing to watch this band growing bigger and better with every album, and living through the excitement of "what are they going to do next year? "
Of course it ended with Smith's gone because nothing lasts forever.
But they were the GODS of the 80's.
And yeah, nowadays we got a lot of revisionistic Cult bvll5hit.

Jdawg needs to have Devin Swank from San Gwiziel Lane Sackers on for an interview, because I heard him talking about how much he liked Kelly from Mortal Decay's vocal style on another pod. This blew my mind because anytime anyone talks about great vocals with Mortal, they are usually refering to the demos with Johnny. I would like to see Jdawg give him some push back see if someone can defend liking the releases with Kelly better than the ones with Johnny.

Warlord - Black Mass might be the best Heavy Metal song of the 1980s, High Power from France also have a song that is unbelievably good .
10:40 I actually discovered Warlord in a very similar fashion. I was listening to the first Hammerfall album. I didn't think much of it, but then the 5th track hit and I was thinking "Damn, this song is actually really good". I looked it up and it was also a cover of Child of the Damned.
