The ultimate Death Metal album of the last 20 years is definitely the new Brodequin. Everything else just is going through the motions. I have not heard the new Deicide yet, but the online songs are not even in the same league as Brodequin. I heard 2 songs online from Deicide, the 2020 Cesspool of Vermin album wiped the floor with them. If you want to stay current, Disgorge USA California, Brodequin, and Cephalotripsy have changed Death Metal. If you prefer the new Cannibal Corpse and Deicide, you might as well think that Iron Maiden, and Metallica are still relevant

New album has a newfound energy to me.....especially with the attached videos...Glen sounds insane, drums are killer as are the guitars....sounds inspired to me especially at this stage of the game...always pulling for the old-school to smack these new bitches a new one...much respect to the old guard...Deceased next and Dismember as far as I know!

I really enjoy Till Death Do Us Part. I like the intensity of the riffs and blasting drums. Has a Formulas Morbid Angel feel to it. The lyrics and Glen's low growls are sick AF too.
That album has grown on me a lot over the years.
There was nothing memorable about. It was decent, but definitely not an album that grows on you

Our drummer had to switch to guitar after heart attack because really good death metal drums requires too much cardio and he just couldn't sustain the blasts and double kick the same way after blowing his heart out like that. I should just show him Steve 2024 to get him behind the kit again

@@SecretAgentBeans I was really nervous but i talked to him for probably a minute or two. I was like "Wow, its Steve from Deicide" and i was 20 years old. The concert was great though. Left my ears ringing for a while :D I met Van Drunen, most of the Decapitated guys, Dereck from Suffocation and a few other bands. They were at least to me very friendly and i was able to have a small chat.

Do people know that Steve contributes more to the songwriting than Glen does ? So basically if he leaves the band because he's too old to do the blast beats anymore the band has to end since he contributes so much to the songwriting. Cant just get another drummer in there since Steve writes the music.

You know what grinds my gears? When people say , deicide sucks after Hoffman bros left .. or only the first 4 albums are good . Im sure some people really think that. I mean jack Owens and ralf are very skilled guitarist who know how to write a song . Glen abd Steve being doing it forever as well . To say all there deicide sucks is a discredit to there skills .
