Surgical Steel is a legitimately great and highly under-rated album, that's why I was so surprised at how much of a turd the new one turned out to be.

Good interview! Her Bands latest EP sounds great, the drum sound and guitar tone is Top Notch. I relate to getting deep into the "New Orleans" sound. I was infatuated with Down when the Demos started circulating, some of her bands tracks sound like it has that influence, somewhat Sludgy. Very Cool!

Big disagree with Justin on his stance on GBK and Arghoslent. I hate to break it to you Justin but the real reason why People enjoy both bands is not because of them being controversial but rather because of how unique and original they sound and their ability to combine elements of Traditional Heavy Metal with Black Metal and Death Metal and in GBK's case D-Beat and Punk as well. Sure there are some edge lord types that do find pleasure in the fact that they listen to bands that are controversial but even if they weren't controversial they would still be listening to said bands because of how fucking good they are. There are people I have encountered that say they feel guilty of listening to those bands but nonetheless still listen to them because of how original and unique they sound which further demonstrates that it has nothing to do with the controversy of these bands but rather their music. You seem to just hate these bands and disregard them simply because of a couple of online weirdos that you've encountered which is a very small fraction of the fanbase and no offense but if you are unable to judge music from a completely unbiased standpoint not knowing anything about the bands lyrics or small elements of the fanbase then your opinion on music is completely irrelevant. "TAPE ON THAT MOUTH SHUT!!!!!" as you like to say.

Fucking LOVE Surgical Steel...and hrew up on Symphonies and stand behind that all day long...but I honestly cranked SS for like 9 months straight...I hadn't invested so much time ona single album in years...some fucking RIPPERS on that one...only thing missing was thay Bill Steer was so minimal in the mix (Heartwork would have been so much better with him...)...Torn Arteries has more Bill and is still pretty goddamn good...not as impactful as SS, but some good stuff...Necroticism was my first proper album, so that will always have a place..."Exhume to Consume" first banger I ever heard 👍
