Seems like a cool chick. I checked out a couple of live performances on the Tube, and they got some cool riffs and a rough and ready sound, but they definitely need to hit that practice space up. Fucking drummer goes off the rails on even straight forward mid tempo parts, and old girl be hawking his ass with the evil eye.

Good interview! Her Bands latest EP sounds great, the drum sound and guitar tone is Top Notch. I relate to getting deep into the "New Orleans" sound. I was infatuated with Down when the Demos started circulating, some of her bands tracks sound like it has that influence, somewhat Sludgy. Very Cool!

Surgical Steel is probably my favorite Carcass album as well.
Surgical Steel is a legitimately great and highly under-rated album, that's why I was so surprised at how much of a turd the new one turned out to be.

Fucking LOVE Surgical Steel...and hrew up on Symphonies and stand behind that all day long...but I honestly cranked SS for like 9 months straight...I hadn't invested so much time ona single album in years...some fucking RIPPERS on that one...only thing missing was thay Bill Steer was so minimal in the mix (Heartwork would have been so much better with him...)...Torn Arteries has more Bill and is still pretty goddamn good...not as impactful as SS, but some good stuff...Necroticism was my first proper album, so that will always have a place..."Exhume to Consume" first banger I ever heard 👍
