hell yeah on the tackhead, nice! Tackhead was Adrian Sherwood, who was producing Ministry during twitch era. Adrian Sherwood actually did product a bunch of hip hop as well, and said in an interview how much he hated working on industrial music production and preferred to do hip hop. Also, that SPK album is great, Graeme Ravelle's imdb page is a close rival to none other than Danny Elfman's own IMDB page. But yeah that's my fav Tackhead Album.
I've got that Tackhead on CD. I think my favorite song is Stealing for it's atmosphere, thumping bass and lyrics calling out greedy televangelists that a lot other bands wrote about in the late 80's / early 90's. Also the main guy in Tackhead is Doug Wimbish, who's been the current bassist for Living Colour since 1992.
I have a couple ol stray cats albums, a vinyl by local band called WTCHS, a band I saw live once I think opened for Russian circles called who’s your favourite sun god
According to Discogs, the cheapest LP in my collection is "Demon - Night of the Demon", original French pressing from 1981, the lowest it was purchased for was €1.01, but the Medium value is around €16.
i've got that uriah heep album annnd the previous owner wore it down so much that during song fade outs its just straight up noise, it was only 2 bucks though lol
Decided to check out what my cheapest record was and it was a Techno 12" single for Harris & Brooks Endzeit for 1 cent, Dance / Beat / DJ records normally go for cheaper then full length LP's but even then that's cheap for one.
One of my favorite low cost (to me) LPs I have is Marty Robin's Trail Songs and Gunfighter Ballads original press. I got it for $2 at a thrift shop because memes.
I got the first 4 HIM albums on picture disc for $20 Canadian Each about 4 years ago, the most someone spent was for Love Metal at $199. I don't understand it at all but so be it. RR went for close to $400 which is insane to me. The lowest item i own is the Unsolved Mysteries soundtrack Volume 1 at $1.36 but it was only the sleeve for sale so that's why it was so cheap.
I'm curious at what are some of the oldest things within your collection edit: record that was in the #2 slot how is the name spelled because I want to look into it
One thing that would be really helpful would be text of the band and album title. Some of the stuff you hold up is in decipherable to look at and it's sometimes difficult to understand what you've said. The one at 29:37 being prime example. I really would like to give that a listen but absolutely no idea what the band is called.
Dakhma is the band name I usually list the bands in the description in videos but these past two videos I haven’t because the main point was discussing prices of LPs
I’ve got a lot of records that are really cheap. Carly Simon, Moody Blues, Uriah Heep, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Herb Alpert, and Commodores to name a few. Great albums, just super common and inexpensive.
If you like Cara Neir, you should check out Gone Mage, Memorrhage and Known Demise. All of them are projects from Garry Brents, the main musician behind Cara Neir
Idk if you ever heard of them but check out the hip hop group All Natural from Chicago. There’s also another super obscure rapper from Canada called Anonymous Twist. Check out his album “Through The Looking Glass” on UA-cam.
Nobody talks about the Rubberoom joint because when it came it out they marketed it to fans of more traditional hip hop (like me; think ads in The Source, Rap City, etc.) and not the underground/experimental/internet crowd. So it lacks support from just about every hip hop fan from the era. That is why I own the CD and have listened to it exactly once in the 25 years since it dropped, lol. No hate, just not really my thing.
I think a better recommendation to people who like Sissy Spacek would be Troughman. I honestly didn’t really enjoy the 3 you listed but really like Disfathom.
I feel like people pick up metal records because the covers look cool. Then when they listen to the music they just want it out of their collection for a few bucks.
I love that uriah heap record.
4:20 lol I died a little here
Don’t worry after editing and rewatching this I fixed the bent sleeve in the jacket
The fact someone SOLD not listed but SOLD a vinyl for 73 cents is absolutely beyond me.
Thanks for following up my video - I found it really interesting what’s at the bottom !

Rubberoom ,nice. There’s a lot of underground hip hop from Chicago that has been overlooked.
That Rubberoom album definitely reminds me of early El P/Company Flow. Had no idea this even existed.

thanks for recommending rubberoom
Dude, I watched a video of Sissy Spacek after this and about two minutes in I had to play some doom metal to calm my brain lol
i just watched almost every video and i am in love with this man.
According to Discogs, the cheapest LP in my collection is "Demon - Night of the Demon", original French pressing from 1981, the lowest it was purchased for was €1.01, but the Medium value is around €16.
that rubberoom album is great. super underrated
I saw the Beatnigs open for Negativeland in the 80's, super cool show!!
i've got that uriah heep album annnd the previous owner wore it down so much that during song fade outs its just straight up noise, it was only 2 bucks though lol
Yeeeeah Rubberoom❤🔥
I'd also recommend checking out Manufacture if you like Tackhead.

Hey Wyatt, I have been thinking about branching off into collecting Vinyl instead of just CDs. What is a good price range when buying a turntable?
Nice zerk shirt :D
Drinking game: Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated whenever Wyatt tells you to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated

interesting
I have like a dozen of three six mafia 12" singles that regularly sell for under 2 bucks. They're good songs too so I wonder why...
What kind of record player do you use?
he made a video a very long time about this, it was a audio technica that is no longer being produced one of the older versions
Omg I have that Moonblood bootleg! It sounds like SHIT but I love it.
Does anybody have any physical Longmont Potion Castle releases? Trying to find one to buy as a gift for a friend of mine
