I have been having really crippling anxiety these last few months and I was fully sobbing during this routine. There is something so cathartic and healing about just checking in with myself and giving myself space to just be. Thank you for this.
Same
Literally same :,)
Girlll, me too, August was a really rough one. This month (September) I’ve been really working on self care and love. You got this.! Know you’re not alone. Sending you healing energy.💜
My sympathies Korina, I've been there
Omg yessss!!!!
Thank you. I started to cry when you said to connect with self and just observing the body and to be with self. I’m a very sensitive person and I feel emotions more so than others and it’s so overwhelming honestly all the time. And I recently lost a friend to chemotherapy and I feel broken and this has helped me relax, I feel like I can go to sleep tonight. Thank you.
You are an empath my friend ♥️
I'm really happy that you're feeling this way! And I'm really sorry for your friend...💖 I hope you're staying hydrated and taking time for yourself :) and I'm proud of you for staying strong!
I began to cry too. Things in this world can become so overwhelming even when we feel we are in control. Even more so when we know we aren’t. I’m glad you had this moment and I hope you find many more
I thought I was insane omg, I literally started to break down at that part.
Im sorry for Your friend, you are Strong 🤍
i have done this for the last couple of nights... and when i tell you i have never slept better i mean it. i have never slept so deeply and felt so good not only going to bed but also waking up. this is a game changer. thank you for giving us this❤
Oh my goodness! This makes me so happy to hear, Jozie! Thank you so much for allowing me to share this practice with you 🙏✨🌕🌙
I have been having so much better sleep since I have started doing this yoga exercise .
Thank you so much ❤
RIGHT?! It works like magic.
Even if it wasn't the longest session, im proud that I still showed up for myself and made myself do yoga, thanks to you and your guidance ❤
You are incredible. I’m so happy to have shared practice with you today 💘
Showing up is at least half the battle… maybe the entire battle cause I know once I’m here I’m committed to the whole thing.
🎉
This is how i feel as well. I’m happy I showed up for myself today and practiced yoga like I wanted to
This is how i feel as well. I’m happy I showed up for myself today and practiced yoga like I wanted to
I just finished this and I have no clue why I feel like crying but I've been busting my butt to workout this year to have a healthier life, hearing your words and doing this just helped me mentally and emotionally, thank you so much
I always say “namaste” with her, its always so amazing it feels like I am doing yoga with a friend ❤️
Me too 😊 I close my eyes and say ‘namaste’ out loud after the meditation
Namastey is an indian greeting! Namastey from india ❤️
this was soooo relaxing. at some point i was sure even you had fell asleep
Like others here, I experienced an unusual release I can’t explain. I bawled not more than a minute into the practice. I was completely entranced, almost unable to move past the first pose, just letting my poor, tired mind and body rest-honoring what it needed. She has such a beautiful, calming voice that just lets you “be”. She created this space that I keep finding myself eager to rush back to. Thank you for giving me a safe, warm space to call a little piece of home. (I practice with a heating pad under me). I am transfixed. Thank you, Bird.
This is literally making me tear up 😭🥹🥺 thank you so much for sharing your time here with me ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
this was amazing… i’ve just left a toxic religious environment where everything was focused on constantly connecting with a god i couldn’t feel. getting to connect with myself and think only of MY BODY, even if my thoughts couldn’t fully calm, was so amazing. thank you thank you thank you :)
Thank you so much for joining and sharing space here with me. Im so happy this class could support you during this time of change ❤️
✨This is a must before bed ✨
i thought i was never going to be good at doing yoga but this really helped me realize that it has nothing to do with being good or bad , its about how it makes me feel. i have never been so relaxed and i really needed those stretches. thank you so much
I've done a few Yoga with Bird sessions and the final piece at the end, the 'pep' talk was awesome. I am enjoying her encouraging words so much.
This account is like magic. The amount of relaxation and self-awareness it has brought me to my body is unimaginable. I appreciate that she allows me to rest without constant talking. I think I want to start doing yoga regularly now as a source of meditation, the breath synching does wonders for me.
This was nice to read 🥹♥️ thank you so much for joining me ♥️♥️♥️♥️
This was a lovely bedtime yoga, been having a rough week and I've restarted my yoga at home again through UA-cam, definitely going to do your videos. I felt like I was lying in a pool of water and relaxed from top to bottom.
The stretches were just right after a long day and I'll fit in your morning routine tomorrow hopefully and the bedtime. It's great as I'm premenopause and it's messed with my mental health so much that I needed this week off work. Hormonal imbalance and other health issues aside my brain needed to feel rest tonight and this truly helped.
Thankyou
I love the posture of your practice, it’s so gentle & genuine. I just did this before bed & feel so relaxed & it helped my sore muscles. I am a beginner but feel so at ease with your content & encouraged to continue, please don’t stop sharing with us !
What I love about your videos is that your audio sometimes is corrected by yourself-you said pose and then adjusted to say movement. I love how you keep that in. You’re a really good human
Hello, first of all, thank you for this lovely video. The strangest thing happened to me after i finished this routine - i started crying my eyes out! I'm so confused because of that reaction.
edit: okay, i read through the comments and I'm not the only one. What a gift you brought upon us.
This is my first yoga session. I am a nursing student under a lot of stress as this week has been extremely heavy and I felt all the tension release from my back. I usually go to a chiropractor but with how my schedule has been I haven't had the time. This is now going to be a nightly routine for me. Thank you so much!!!
namaste, our shining bird! I hope whoever reads this has a wonderful day ;) thank you endlessly for your presence on here💛🕯️
More bedtime yoga practices please! I loved this !
Yay! Many more to come 🤗🤗
Thank you! Just found this and was so need today ( tonight, at 4 am to wind down and stress release. Praying for sweet surrender to sleep 🙏
. Bless you! And Yoga, too! 😊
This was such a wonderful practice for this evening! I needed it so much after the long and tiring day that I had. From all of the errands and responsibilities I upheld today, this one moment in the evening is something I feel pure gratitude towards. Filling my heart with this lovely practice is so nourishing. Thank you so much, Bird! Namaste 🙏🏻
I’ve been in an extremely toxic relationship recently and the relationship I have with my family is very stressed so I am very isolated in this time of healing. This was my first time trying a Pilates lesson like this and my God was in tears. I will be doing this EVERY night until I feel okay again and by then it’ll probably just be a routine. I was so shocked how this routine opened me up to my body and I let all my emotions out
Thankyou xx
I love the set up really encourages mind clarity and peace 💆🏻♀️🧘🏻♀️
Reading these comments, I know im not alone in the fact that I started crying when asked to connect with the body. Wow. ❤
thank you, i literally teared up because i needed not someone to tell me they were proud of me but for someone to recognize that i am proud and taking care of myself.
I just started my nursing career and I am so glad I found this channel for my body and mind. Thanks, Bird!
I’ve been struggling with a lot of health issues, and I’ve been feeling incredibly guilty that I haven’t been able to attend my reformer practice for months now. I started crying when you said be proud of giving yourself this time. I haven’t felt proud of myself for a long time. Thank you
Your kind words throughout the whole video were so comforting, thank you!
A tear ran down my eye when she said to be proud of myself. Thank you very much, I loved the stretch
This yoga is something spiritual. Thank you so much!
i really enjoyed this video not only because the poses were just so comfortable and calming, but also because i truly liked the words you chose for your sentences. everything was thoughtful and peaceful. it is always important to remember to love oneself and to listen to one's body, and you reminded us of that very kindly. thank you for this awesome session and good night. 💕
This was so relaxing. Thank you for saying honor your body, take time for body and self. Such a wave of relief came over and covered me.
was stressed and wanted to do some yoga. you're very gentle with the way you instruct and with how lenient you are with the limitations of different bodies. i am very thankful i came across your channel. much love.
This is my new night routine and it is so relaxing.
Thank you for this you don’t know how much I needed this!!!
Thank You!, Jessica for joining :) I'm happy you enjoyed this practice 💗💗
I cried tears of relief when I finished this yoga session. Thank you for this
having one of the wort times of my life, i started overthinking and tensing up before sleeping. i remembered i had this in my bookmarks for when i finally get myself to pick up yoga. not only did the tension disappear, i teared up when you said this space is here for me whenever i need it. thank you, from the bottom of my a little bruised heart. i'll definitely come back🤍
I don't usually comment on videos but thank you so much for this! I didn't know how much tension I was holding physically and mentally, and this helped me to let go so much that I cried a little lol !! thank you :))
Definitely shed a tear when you told us to be proud of ourselves for showing up to the mat and giving gratitude for showing up for ourselves. I have been avoiding showing up for myself for far too long. Thanks for the reminders 💚
I have recently gotten into Yoga, and came across your channel. For me, you are my ideal teacher, as your voice is calming and you don't speak much in order for us to be in tune with ourselves. I followed this video for 4 nights in a row and not only felt at peace but also slept like a baby throughout those nights. I had to take a 3 night break due to my environmental circumstances and felt... just... so odd not being able to do my yoga prior to bed! I finally was able to get back to it tonight, and I feel so much better. What I'm trying to say is I'm addicted (not sure if that's a good thing, but anyways...)! Thanks, sis! 🤍
I had absolutely no idea coming into this comment section that everyone else felt what I felt. I started crying during the child pose. I don’t know why, but I did. I recently was hospitalized because of suicidal intent, and in the hospital I learned yoga from one of the other patients. It was really nice, it’s been a month since then and I haven’t done any yoga or stretching. I’ve been having a really rough couple days, so on a whim I decided to look up yoga for flexibility because I’ve been so stiff as I haven’t left my bed much. Doing this has helped me feel temporarily better and my body feels much looser. I think you just have a healing energy about you. I’m definitely going to keep coming back to this channel, thank you so much!
Hey. I hope you feel better now. I've lost my best friend and husband, he couldn't deal with this world anymore. I understood, but we have work to do here, right? Let's do this routine together, every day. Trust me, it's going to be very hard for me to do it, so I need a practice buddy, okay? Let me know what you think. x
I enjoyed this practice immensely
Needed this-I’ve been staying up and not getting rest. I told myself I needed to be more intentional with my morning routine. This reminded me how much my body appreciates yoga before bed.
I wanted to cry while doing this,THANK YOU SO MUCH YOUR VOICE IS SO CALMING
Just found this today as I am adding stretching to my 2023 self care routine. I love it!!!♥️
I've been doing this yoga for some weeks almost every day, and I never get bored! I tried a few other videos but always came back to this one 💜
same here!!! 😍😍
Thank you for making this
Had a rough evening and this seemed to help to start to release some of my anxious energy 💕
This video literally makes me sleep like a baby. Thank you so much
Just started doing your routines n I have things popping where I didn't know I had things to pop. Amazed how much less tension I have in my hips n back now.
I don’t usually write comments for videos but there was something super magical about this one… I’ve been watching your videos and doing yoga morning, afternoon, and before bed just as a way to relax and release tension, when you start talking about connecting with your body and creating space, I started to feel my body and hear it too - how it needs gentleness. Tonight I truly felt connected with myself, and my mind wandered to how I started doing this for my sake and being gentle for myself. I felt my own kindness reflected back to me, like “I’m doing this for you, so you can sleep better, because I love you” type of thing. Which is super new for someone so self-critical.. I never felt that much self-love before. I think I will sleep peacefully tonight. Thank you for these videos❤
You don't understand how amazing this felt 😩😩😩😩😩😩 NEEDED
I couldn’t help but pause the video and cry, this was really good, I don’t think I truly understood yoga until this moment
I feel super relaxed, this video was so good
I started to cry too the best thing I've done for myself all week.
Didn't know how much I needed this until I did it. Tysm. 😊 The poses and pace and music were perfect. Keep doing what you do! 💕
this is the PERFECT bedtime yoga. thank you
This is my first time trying yoga as a 13 year old, is this magic, cause I feel a lot happier, and more relaxed.
It does feel like doing yoga with a friend! Thanks Bird! Another fantastic day 🥰
I'm a very selfless person.. this is all the self time I need and so needed..Thanks 💖
This is the second time I do this one and I cried both times. It was a release/self compassion type of cry. Loved it, thank you so much ❤
Another refreshing, easy to follow and do video! Thank you so much Bird! You make yoga accessible for everyone and I feel great inside and out!!! 🥰💝
Yay! So happy the classes resonate. Thank you so much for joining me ❤️
Thank you! I just had a terrible 3 days due to life events and almost losing someone. This was so needed and reminded me of my yoga practice with my favorite instructor. I 100% needed this. ❤
i tried this and its so relaxing. i will definitely be doing this everyday
I read the comments before initiating this video. I saw all the comments about feeling like crying, or ending up crying as a form of release, and wasn’t sure if that was something i wanted or that would happen for me. i gave this a go, and it was very relaxing and i did end up crying 😂😭 something i may return to- very healing to take a moment to yourself like this
Thank you, this was my first yoga experience since surgery and it was meaningful, accomplishable and calming for me.
My favorite bedtime yoga!💗 so relaxing🧘🏻♀️
wow, this reliefed my exam stress and anxiety, made my backpain go away and i felt 100% safe and comfortable all the way through, thank you sm, 2023 habit chosen :)
I love these bedtime yoga sessions. They always leaving me feel sleepy and relaxed. Thankyou bird ❤
AFTER THIS MY BODY NEVER FELT BETTER! TYSM SO MUCH I CANT RN🤧😭
This made me cry. You are so gentle with the way you hold yourself and your words, thank you.
I have not even joined yet but will be. She seems very genuine not just instructing❤
Thanks Bird. Goodnight.
This is pretty much the first yoga video I’ve followed that was a) simple and easy to follow b) not boring (the ‘organic movement’ at the beginning was great!) and c) genuinely relaxing all at once. Will definitely be coming back to this one!!
One of the best yoga sessions I ever tried, after a long tiresome day filled with overwhelming “adult duties” this helped not only my body relax but also a lot of emotions surfaced and I started crying during the session, lots of emotional release but wow, how amazing I feel afterwards, this was awesome! Definitely subscribed and going to be doing many more of these in the future :)
This was so calming. I try to stretch everyday. I was expecting the usual stretches that last about 40 seconds but this was so relieving and I feel so relaxed and at peace with my body. Thank you so much!
I like teared up at the end when she said be proud of yourself for showing up. and for this space is here for you anytime you need. Honest to goodness it made my nerves in my body a little bit better cause I would overthink about it not letting it go until I tried this yoga and I got to say wow it made me feel a little bit better 🥲 thank you so much I will keep practicing this before bed from now on.
I often don't really like yoga videos... I like doing the yoga but don't connect with the practitioner and never do the same one twice. Except this one. I haven't seen your videos before, but doing this felt so good and restorative, I have kept it open in a tab on my screen and done it several times in the last week. I love how you give enthusiastic permission to find what is feeling good in your own body, and adjust poses or movements to make them work for you. This really feels like the thing I need right now. I used to be very fit and have struggled with long covid for the last 15 months. Most exercise has been completely out of the question, and my body has felt the lack sorely. This is something I could do, that brought me into my body, didn't create any judgement towards myself or my current abilities, and felt very healing. Thank you so much for this!
This was such an amazing start to incorporating yoga into my self care and night routine. I feel very relaxed. 🤍
I love your stretching techniques and your love and gratefulness for the body. It's sincere and true. Thank you 🌸
Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️ one of the deepest yoga sessions that I have ever experienced! I released a lot and I couldn't stop crying during the practice.
I've been dealing with lower back and leg pain ...after doing this i feel much better thx you so much for ur teaching
Have experiencing anxiety for 2 weeks now and I'd say that this video really helps me to feel normal again ❤ thank you so much
Thank you for this wonderful healing routine 💖
I was crying towards the end. Thank you
Thank you for the great wind-down routine!
When you said to let go even if it’s just for a moment I realised that I’ve never felt safe enough to completely let go. I felt grateful to you and cried a bit😅
Thank you
reading this makes me so emotional! i'm so so happy to know that this class could support you in the way that you need.
This was my first yoga session and i’m really glad i chose this one! it was really calming and relaxing.
thank you! this was calming and relaxing! great for right after a meditation! this helped with some of my back pain and tension as well!
This was truly amazing, her voice and words of encouragement made the experience so much better !
We just loved this class! Thank you!
I love these yoga videos! I ALWAYS feel refreshed after a yoga session with Bird. Even when it’s just 10 minutes, always refreshed.
That part about giving gratitude to yourself really touched me. Usually we reserve it for other people but the thought of thanking ourselves crippled with anxiety for continuing to try and even pushing to do this exercise, moved me emotionally. thank you for this wonderful video and all the affirmations
Your voice on a Speaker is so soft mostly When its night Time it Feels so relaxing😭💗
Felt so good! Thank you!!!! Yayy!
Wow this was amazing. Yoga is underrated. I didn't think a few stretches would make me feel so peaceful
Wow this was amazing. I am yawning so hard after finishing this and I really felt at peace once we were all done.
Such a wonderful yoga session thank you 🙏🏼
The position @2:35...
If you have more time, then try giving yourself 5 minutes in that pose for each side of the body and focus your slow, relaxed deep breathing low into the belly. I have found 5 minutes duration will give even more significant muscle release and the breathing will enhance this. Many emotions are stored in the core and lower back and that pose does much to release them. A beautiful series here in the video. Thank you for this.
Omg glad I came to the comments cause I thought I was the only one that felt the need to cry while doing this
