I was so tired of taking medicine for relaxation so I asked God to lead me the natural way. Ok ya'll, hops, skullcap, passion flower and of course Holy Basil combined as a hot tea is the ultimate relaxing, sleep dream come true🍵. Oh, don't forget the 🍯 honey if you don't mind the strong taste. My doctor was shocked that I found out the miracles of herbs.

I'm growing this for the first time in my garden this summer. The fragrance is out-of-this-world amazing. Just made a couple of tinctures and have been using fresh leaves for tea. Working with this plant, I have felt calmer, more relaxed. I also haven't had existential spirals, something that used to be a regular occurence.

The plant is very easy to grow and a single plant produces far more leaves than one would need to harvest. The fresh leaves taste very refreshing as well: a little bit minty with some complex complementary flavors. I think it should grow in a lot of places unless it gets too cold. If you can get one plant you can produce many more from it, the seeds spread through air and new plants sprout like weeds all over the garden.

It's a nootropic very good for the brain and the whole neurology .
Not only does it help with anxiety it actually helps get rid of fear especially the kind of fear somebody can feel in their solar plexus and or their chest .
It also is good for reducing fevers and it really does cool the body down so I warn people do not take it in the winter if you're going to be going outside unless you bundle up extra warm .

holy basil drink: Honey, Holy Basil Leaves (2-3 handful), pinch of pink salt, black pepper & blend then add paste with 2 litres of water, stir and pour in cup with ice (add sugar if you want it sweeter).

Tysm for such an informative, concise video! I use this herb on and off for anxiety/daily stress along with Passionflower tincture and daily meditation practice. Doesn’t seem to help immediately, it seems I have to take it regularly to notice any effect. Organic India is the brand I prefer. The Passionflower tincture that I make at home (1:5 ratio) works more for an immediate yet short term effect :)

Hi Dr. How are you doing? I would like to start using the herb. Is there a limit on how long you can use it for? Thank you so much! I hope this will help me feel better as I am always anxious. depending on how you are using it and what you are using it for will usually determine how long I have clients on a particular herb. This is one that people can generally use for long term as it is often used as a tea daily.

generally when i recommend herbs or supplements, my goal is never to have the person taking it forever. At the same time I'm working to correct the underlying issue so that they can come off the supplement if possible. I also base it on the length of time used in studies as well. The recommendation for each person is different which is why I always suggest you work your care provider.
