Nirvana
** Fun Kurt Cobain Fact ** In Late June/Early July 1992 during the “Nevermind Rescheduled European Tour” (June 21 - July 4, 1992) Kurt wore those black Rim “Buddy Holly” style glasses, and someone said to Kurt he looked just like his dad, Don and after that he never wore those glasses again..
cool fact bro, I think this is one of their best performances.
Yeah cause his dad wore them, what was he thinking thinking 😅 anyway we all know he got his looks from his mother.
7:10 the way Kurt looks at Dave when he says 'I wish I would've blown my head off...'
Yes i was thinking same thing!🤘👍
Wonder if Dave remembers saying that? Bet he does!!
@@ConcertFootageNatedoesn’t it look like Dave stared at him after he said that? Kurt also looked upset
My sister was in her tent, throwing up drunk. When Nirvana played. My parents thought l was to young. Two years later i had the ticket to the Sweden show Stockholm 1994. But they canceled after Germany, only 2 - 3 shows untill they were playing Sweden. So close, it will chase me rest of my life. Thank's for upgrading the Nirvana shows. And you who sits on Nirvana Shows, it's time to let, new & old Nirvana fans enjoy them.
Goodnight from Sweden. O
I wanted to see them in SF but had to study for a college exam. I thought I could see them at a future concert tour.. boy was I wrong (
Probably the best Scandinavian show.
Yeah
Yea if you could actually see anything going on
@@nancygleason8702 still a good show
I see your comments on most Nirvana videos here mate. Similar passion, probably similar age (1983 here)
End of 2023 and Nirvana still is, and always will be my number one. And the reason I picked up a guitar... probably same as yours :)
I think the Sweden show that wasn't a festival show, is the best Scandinavien show. Norway, Finland and Denmark all have video, Sweden show was taped but only 2 ,1/2 song been shown. Sweden has the best audio and set list of songs, all four shows has similar song lists. In Sweden Kurt is playing a song request. The only one i can remember.
-That guy in red hair wants us to play D-7. Do we remember that one. Check it out. Goodnight from Sweden
3:57 - I've been searching for the demo of Kurt playing Negative Creep on a flute for YEARS... I just hope one day it'll show up. Until then, I can only sit and listen to the other flute demos Nirvana recorded.
Can you tell me where you found these demos? Can't seem to find any recording when searching for it. Thanks
it must be very hard and ashamed to be a tv reporter while talking with Kurt and Dave in the right and fun mood LMFAO although that reporter totally deserved banter with that question at 05:56

Kurt should still be here living his life. I’ll never believe he killed himself. Shame on police in Washington State to just let this go. His life meant something ❤❤❤love you Kurt

THAT’S a real honest to God BOOTLEGGING! Sneaking a $5,000 camera into the show for the betterment of humanity. He was even holding it down at the beginning. Krist would be proud
Nirvana today sucks, they should make all the content they have from 88-94 public. We have more than 10 shows with soundboard and some with professional videos that have never been released.
This one for example was recorded completely in the same quality as Reading, but we only have access to some songs like On a plain/Lithium/Sliver
7:10 he just didn't know yet that his words had become predictive
They sound excellent here for being a recording from 92 wow
92 is a long time ago, but wasn't the dark ages. Professionel high end audio equipment existed back then as well.

This is a great video thank you
THANK YOU FOR SHERE THISSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!
AMAZING video...incredible soundboard quality!!!!
Sounds great! One of my fave shows!!!!!
So unique version of Swap meet. Slower that original and probably near last time ever played live
Swap Meet Is one of those Nirvana songs that haven't been played very often, It was recorded during the "Bleach Sessions" December 24 & 29-31, 1988 but the first time It was played live was on November 25, 1990 at The Off Ramp, Seattle, WA.
The second time Nirvana played it live was on March 02, 1991 - The Zoo, Boise, ID and March 07, 1991 - The Forge, Victoria, BC, Canada on their "Sliver NW/Canadian Tour" then the next time they played it live was June 22, 1992 - The King's Hall, Belfast, Northern Ireland, June 26, 1992 - Dyrskuepladsen (Roskilde Festival), Roskilde, Denmark, June 27, 1992 - Kansanpuisto (Ruisrock), Turku, Finland, which were part of Nirvana's "Nevermind Rescheduled European Tour" making that Nirvana only performed "Swap Meet" live 6 times. So the performance of Swap Meet is second to last live performance of the song.
The audio has good quality...Thank's
Forever Nirvana❤
Aneurysm sounds incredible with his voice well forward the other instruments!
Nice performance...❤
Yes!
I was here before Tomnedreb this is insane
xD
those were the days.
First interview is probably the most easy going and honest interview
Que buena presentación... 👌
Swap Meet!!!!!!! Yessssss 🙌
The Song they rarely played.
It was written and recorded in December 1988 (released on "Bleach" June 15, 1989). The first time they played it live was on November 25, 1990 at The Off Ramp, Seattle, WA then they played It again March 2, 1991 The Zoo, Boise, ID and March 7, 1991 The Forge, Victoria, BC, Canada. Then it wasn't played until June 22, 1992 The King's Hall, Belfast, UK. June 26, 1992 Dyrskuepladsen (Roskilde Festival), Roskilde, Denmark. June 27, 1992 Kansanpuisto (Ruisrock), Turku, Finland. And that's all the times they played "Swap Meet" live there are 3 shows it could of been played but not confirmed as the shows are unsurfaced and the setlist (incomplete) the 3 shows it could have also been played at would be December 31, 1990 Satyricon, Portland, OR. March 4, 1991 Westward Club, Calgary, AB, Canada. March 5, 1991 The Bronx, Edmonton, AB, Canada.
So If "Swap Meet" wasn't played on 12/31/90, 03/04/91 and 03/05/91 then that means Swap Meet was only played live 6 times 11/25/90, 03/02/91, 03/07/91, 06/22/92, 06/26/92 and 06/27/92.
Best set list ever!
I think Nirvana's 11/25/90 The Offramp, Seattle, WA show had the best set list ever.
About a Girl is awesome!
Almost sounds like the unplugged
Luarbiasa good job brother
I was born on that day!
I was born on December 4, 1988.
Which Nirvana recorded the rest of the songs for "Bleach" (Blew, About A Girl, School, Negative Creep, Scoff, Swap Meet, Mr. Moustache, Sifting,) on December 24 & 29-31, 1988 (and did the mixing on January 14 & 24, 1989) but Anyways the only show Nirvana ever played on my Birthday was the December 4, 1991 - The Academy, Manchester, UK (which seem to be an awesome show for the Nevermind European Tour as they opened up with an Unknown song with Kurt on Drums, and Dave on Vocals, and then on "Polly" after one verse/chorus they switched Into "(New Wave) Polly" and then they played the Unknown song mislabel as "Horrified" which they did on the 11/25/91 Amsterdam Radio Station session. And played another Unknown song with Kurt still on Bass and Krist on Guitar....
Especially If you're into the Avant-Garde style of Nirvana like the 12/04/91, 10/30/92, 01/16/93 shows, etc....
J'adore ce live à Danemark j'espère qu'il sortira en dvd officiel la version professionnel pour les 30 ans l'année prochaine thanks for the sharing :)

Nice interview I’ve never seen. Kurt looks like he’s together. Things didn’t implode until later. This was still a good time and they were still getting more popular. He was so smart and yet things got out of hand. What a quick demise. It saddens me that he’s gone. I’d like to see what he’d think about today’s world. I bet he’d be angry.
RIP Kurt

When Kurt says, we write on anything we could get up weather it's an acoustic guitar, electric guitar or a flute.... Idk why I just can't see Kurt write a song on a flute.... "This Song's called "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and then bust out some tunes like Jethro Tull, lmao.
@@rychcorporhate it seems like he wasn't having much of that interviewers' way of asking some of those questions, if i recall correctly. I do disagree when Kurt said they were no better than Extreme, but that's just me.
@@rgoob4045 the thing with Cobain was he was very sarcastic and had a witty and other times dark sense of humor. I am not gonna speak for Kurt as I am not him but when he says in this June 26, 1992 interview, that Nirvana was just as good as extreme I think he was being sarcastic and/or down playing the success of Nirvana as 4 days later while being interviewed on June 30, 1992 Nirvana had a total different opinion on the band Extreme as Krist said something about them being some shuck rock band and then Kurt says they surround themselves with these professional dickheads who rushes ahead of them at the airport and tells people no pictures no autographs, what we want is a line straight to the van, a line straight to the van, like so what!? And then Krist says I don’t think they understand things can work on a different level, then Dave chimes in with “I don’t think they are aware how much they suck” in which Kurt laughs.
(That interview can be seen in the June 30, 1992 video I’ve posted or you can see that snippet of that part of the interview in the 1994 VHS / 2006 DVD Home Video “Live Tonight! Sold Out!!”)
@@rychcorporhate thanks for your reply. First, I should have put (sarcastic) after my original post. Yes, I'm very well aware of what you're saying, I get it, his sense of humor, the little baited responses that he 'offers' and most aren't aware of it or take him literally. I find it charming, disarming and his sense of humor is probably the most attractive quality of his personality from what I've observed. I'm the same age as Kurt. His memory for me is being very much alive in real time. Some of the vids are like reliving those days because it all starts in my mind with my memories of those times. I still find it unfathomable that he's really gone. But I've grieved that man for decades (albeit not constant), and I've yet to find that in a musician/artist/man or at least one that resonates(ed) with me like Kurt. Sorry for yammering on.
@@rgoob4045 No need for apologies, feel free to write whatever ya like... I am like a Human Cobain Biography, I like know everything about him, as If it's me speaking of my own life, even though I didn't get no chance to meet him or see them live as I was 7 (going on 8) years old when he passed away... Back on July 13, 1989 when Nirvana played at Maxwell's, Hoboken, NJ (that show was 45 mins away from my house) and since Nirvana played at J.C. Dobbs in Philadelphia, PA the day before on July 12, 1989 Nirvana would of Drove down the Highway passed my house to be able to get into Hoboken, NJ on July 13, 1989 to play at Maxwell's. Which was Susie Tennant, who was working in Hoboken at the time brought Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon (of Sonic Youth) and J. Mascis' (of Dinosaur Jr.) to the Nirvana show at Maxwell's in Hoboken, NJ on July 13, 1989 (which is the first time Thurston/Kim/J first seen/heard Nirvana. After the first few notes Thurston and J Mascis went to the front of the Stage and stayed there Nirvana's full set.... And they were blown away at the end, when At the end of the concert Kurt smashed his Natural Univox Hi-Flier beyond repair. (Which is also my Favorite Brand/Model guitar ever made) After the show Susie, Thurston, Kim, and J Hung out with Nirvana. The following day on July 14, 1989 on Nirvana's day off, Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic and Chad Channing attend a Sonic Youth concert at The Ritz, New York, NY.
But sadly at that time I was only 7 months old but Kurt was only 45 mins away from my house and he smashed my favorite brand/model guitar at that show in NJ... Nirvana played at Maxwell's, Hoboken, NJ 9 months later on April 28, 1990 (which you see parts of it In the Sub Pop version of the "In Bloom" music video) the parts where Kurt is wearing the Mudhoney Big Muff t-Shirt and is playing his Home Made Hybrid Surf Green Mustang, those clips in the Music Video was filmed at Maxwell's, Hoboken, NJ on April 28, 1990... The 3rd and Final show Nirvana ever played in NJ was at the legendary Punk Venue "City Gardens" in Trenton, NJ (which is about 30 Mins to an Hour from my house depending on which way you go/traffic and shit).
But I do have memories of seeing Nirvana on TV back in the early 90s...
But sometimes it seems like Kurt Cobain is fictional like he doesn't exist, because he's been gone for so long and for people like me who never met him or got to see them live it sometimes feels like it's all made up.
Would be cool if you wrote your thoughts on the shows in the description
Yeah, I think that would be a cool idea, and something that you don’t see very often, if any, but there’s so many people in the “Nirvana Community” / “LiveNirvana” etc… they all hate me and try to sabotage me, they had my old account terminated, by claiming false copyright claims on stuff they don’t even own the rights too, but they fucked me and had 6 years of work of all the Nirvana/Other Bands Full Albums/my own lo-fi 4trk home demos/my bands own studio original songs, etc… so much stuff I could NEVEr get back.. but it’s really sad and petty I don’t bother no one I keep to myself and we’re all here for the same reason pay homage and respect to Cobain and Nirvana and the art and music they made… so the Nirvana videos I create and post I try to keep it as original as possible, with the correct information and Info etc… I would give my opinion as I am like a human Cobain Biography as I know his whole life.. but some people complain about my knowledge so I just keep to myself and who am I ? Who really gives a fuck what I really have to say, ya know!?
Well I just asked you to put your thoughts in the description so

Thing about this gig is that Nirvana went on right after Denmark had won the European football championships. It was by all accounts (including my Danish gf at the time, who called me in England afterwards and went on about it for years) an ecstatic occasion.

Hi I Was there in 1992 and I recorded it on a boom box and on my recording it’s true they startet with Toris version of Teen Spirit, but then they go into Stay Away??? So somethings not right about your video.
Thou I remember seeing a guy with a video camera on a stand recording the concert, left from the stage, so it seems as the Videofilm is true, but the set list follow definitive is not the right set list, they started out with stay away, with Grohl doin his aggressive snare roll.
But it’s funny to see the film, I often thought about where in the world in could be and so after so many years it appears, wau😲
Kurt is a good example of a productive opioid user. although your hooked on very strong and dangerous drugs … you can still do what you love and with focus and hard work you’ll be there. But always it will be a better place without it. RIP Kurt much love 🤘🏽
better times than Fentanyl today...
Well Actually I get what you're saying, but during this Tour In the Summer of 1992 Kurt was on Methadone. As on the Second or Third day In Europe, Kurt fainted and passed out and was rushed to the Hospital (and was discharged the same day) Kurt claimed he just stood up to fast but in reality Kurt forgot to take his morning dose of Methadone that day.
And before you try to tell me I have no clue what I'm talking about I was a Heroin Addict from the age of 12 to 31 years old.... (19 years addicted to Heroin, among other drugs over the years). I still managed to record at least 4 songs from my band In the Studio, and we were gonna get the rest of the album finished and the drummer got us an offer for Thurston Moore record label, but my heroin addiction was so deep I just ran away and broke up my own band lived under a bridge and use puddle water or Gatorade to Inject heroin.... Who knows where my life would be if I never decided to stick a needle in my arm.
