Her face is priceless when she gets excited or proud.
That's a good PG description
Good stuff. Good job, Sarah!
Congratulations Clint, Julia, and Baby Hanson! Great job, Sarah! Well done!
Yay! Thanks so much!!! 😊 -Sarah @BA
Congrats Sarah! Clint you are a good instructor! Thanks!
Thank you!!! He absolutely is! Thanks for watching 😊 -Sarah @BA
Great job y’all!
I just bouts a BA 223 Wylde Premium Black Series 16 Hanson Mid Length Stainless Steel. This is very helpful on the right way to do things. Thank you.
Very helpful video, appreciate it. One other bit of info that might be an additional help, is that the hole in the gas block is larger than the gas port in the barrel so you have a little leeway with the gas block positioning. Obviously get it as straight as you can, but you will still get full gas even if the block is not positioned perfectly straight.
Next build I’m going to stand on a box. That looked super exciting.
Split in the roll pin on the top. This is why you are one of the best. I never even considered that. Also, in the past, I've always mounted my gas tube first because I think it helps me visualize the alignment better. Maybe it doesn't. I try it the BA way on my next build.
Such a great helpful content presented in amazing manner! Guys, I'm in love with both of you! :)
Awe! Thanks so much! So glad you found it helpful, thanks so much for watching! 😊 -Sarah @BA
Great job Sarah!
YAY! Thank you! -Sarah @BA
Great job Sarah👍
THANK YOU!!! 😊 -Sarah @BA
I have 3 BA barrels on builds I have done. My latest one involved the 18" fluted premium barrel.
She makes this easy to learn
This is a perfect video of using the word "perfect".
I’ll bet she is a ball to work with. Seems to have a great time doing this! Great video.
Cool!
Great job Sarah nice meeting you at shot 2019.
Thanks so much! It was great meeting you too 😊 -Sarah @BA
Congrats Clint!
I was just thinking Sarah needed to do a build, and here we go.
I say she finishes it.
I like this idea... 😉 -Sarah @BA
Just installed a Premium Series Hanson Profile in .308. Looks sharp! One question though - why is the coil pin on the lower part of the gas block (not the gas tube pin) so long? I thought I'd misplaced the part with something else on my workbench, but no, I guess I just was expecting it to be flush like the others. Any reason for that?
Hey! I thought I would point out that you have 5.56k subs.. coincidence? I don't think so lol! Thanks for the vids ordered my 3rd BA barrel thanks to your 30% off deal! Awsome!
Congrats Clint and Family! 👍🏻
Do you recommend lapping the face of your upper reciever that contacts the barrel extension stop? Also what BCG do you reccomend, and should I headspace?
I just found these episodes and really wish they were still making them! Sarah is awesome with her bubbly personality and endless expressions! Clint is awesome too and very clear with great information. I own a few ARs but have only built 3 of them. The newest one has a 16" Aero Precision (BA) barrel in 223 wylde. This is by far my most accurate and favorite AR. I'm by no means a great shooter because I don't get as much practice as I'd like but I can shoot sub MOA with this barrel. My PSA 16" barrel is nice too but definitely not as consistent as the BA.
Please make new videos!! I have a feeling Sarah may not work for BA anymore though. 😭🥲🥲🥲
I have a gas block jig that lays flat on the table that I use to put in the gas tube roll pin.
Roll pin only on the gas block install, or can I use a taper pin?
Any plans for BA to start making some pistol barrels? 😉
Good video, great job Sarah! Isn't it recommended to throw some red Loctite on the set screws though? At least that's what I've always done with mine.
If pinned not necessary.
Heat resistance blue loctite is what I use.
My BA Hanson barrel is extremely difficult to insert into my Aero Precision upper. Any suggestions?
Do you put any anti seize on the barrel or barrel nut?
Steady, Deliberate hits. 👍 Sarah 😁
Haha, Clint is such a patient teacher! Thanks so much for watching! 😊 -Sarah @BA
It was fun to see Sarah's excitement and anxiety with her first build. I bet she'd love LEGOs too! Thanks gang, for the good video! 👍👍
Hi Chris, I'm so glad you enjoyed watching! And YES! YES to Lego's! My husband and I both grew up on them and now we build sets together quite frequently- our latest obsession has been the new Harry Potter sets, so much fun! Thanks for watching 😊 -Sarah @BA
@@BallisticAdvantage Sarah. That is great. My wife and I do the same thing. And Harry Potter LEGOs rock! Now we are also into all the LEGO video games. And the HP series is pretty dang fun, too. Oh yeah, good job on the build. I think ya'll should continue with Clint teaching you "ladies", more about AR stuff & building. It is a nice change of pace.
You need to offer a complete build by Sarah!
No anti seize or anything on the barrel extension or threads?
I get information here, that I don't get on other sites. keep the gap up and 90 deg. on the torque wrench.
Thanks
So is the gas block pin optional?
No aeroshell on the barrel extension and receiver threads??
That's a big dude!!
What is making the wheel of death sound?
Can you install the gas tube into the gas block before installing the block?
Yuppers🤙
Has Sarah ever considered switching to decaf?
Hahahahaha... hahahahahaha... hahaha... nope. 😉 -Sarah @BA
She’s cute aha
@@jep3582 I Think she is a drama queen....with all of the over exaggerated facial expressions OMG!!!
Yeah you can tell all the haters in the comments are definitely women just hating on another woman as usual.
Is that or guys that get no pussy 🤷♂️
Fluted shorty barrels please. 9-11.5” in .300 black& 12.5 6.5 Grendel
The problem is the set screws won’t hold the pressure from driving the coil pin. If you would just dimple the barrel at the factory you could avoid that problem. Would have saved me 2 hours. At 10:57 feels more like my install went.
A haiku...
Sara installs pin
Clint watches and gives advice
Sara is happy
Was wondering do you guys dimple the barrel for the set screws even though you drill it for pinning?
No they don’t. It’s strange. They sent me a barrel pinned with zero dimples.
@@johnviera3884 That is normal. You won't see a dimple on a pinned set up
Daniel Dotter seems redundant for sure.
Any video of Sarah at SHOT Show?
Clint, I've seen some guys use Locktite 620 on the barrel extension...is there any reason to do that? Seems to me that just goops it up.
Loctite or stainless shims. Bedding the barrel only if it's a sloppy fit in the upper receiver.
Wouldn't it be better to dimple both of the set screws?
How would you suggest breaking-in these barrels?
Shoot it🙂👍
I miss you two.
So I do not need a reaction rod or bcg if I follow these steps?
You need to have your receiver “clamped” or held by something when torquing your barrel. I would use a reaction bar. They aren’t that expensive and if you’ll be building more then one upper it’s well worth the money.
I totally miss you guys 😒😞😔😟😕🙁☹️
Ok I've officially changed from chipotlelover82 to my new name 😉 Anywho, Sarah how was shot show? Congrats to Clint and Julia on baby girl! Hope both baby and mama are healthy and doing well!
I have to be honest, I am a little emotional about this handle change... I'm sure I will come around... I just need time, hehe. Shot Show was great fun! I learned a ton and got to meet lots of amazing industry people! Julia and baby are doing great, I haven't met her yet, but am hoping to soon! As always, thank you so much for watching! 😊 -Sarah @BA
@@BallisticAdvantage We'll make it through the handle change together 😂 and don't you fret... No chipotle burritos were harmed in the changing of it! Glad you had a fun time at shot, I really hope to make it out there one year
Why a coil pin vs a taper pin?
I know a SCREAMER when I see one.....with all due respect and love for your professionalism and spirit.......trying to find a BA 9mm 4.5 AR barrel but sold out EVERYWHERE
The god of lighting is now the god if barrel assembly 😂
What is that rattling in the background
3:39 Just got back from the emergency room, they had to remove a punch from my abdomen.
I had to get one removed from a little bit lower... I should move my vise to a higher surface
Is Sarah standing on a step stool? or is she really that tall?
Please tell me you two are married to one another. You two have great chemistry, and I’m new here to your channel. I want to believe there’s happiness out there.
Good job Sarah, nothing better than a cute woman working on gans. Thank you for the videos.
I would never, ever, try to build anything with a rattlesnake loose in my shop!
Just got your 10.3 Hanson 556 barrel good quality needed to heat my damn upper and threads to get that bad bitch in 😂
I think she’s hyped up on Mountain Dew
How was your Shot Show experience Sarah?
It was great! I learned a ton and met so many new people! I also got some pretty cool patches and won a little bit of money at roulette 😉 Thanks so much for watching! -Sarah @BA
Are you building guns in a bicycle repair shop?
How snug should i make it? Till youre fingers hurt. Oooooooooooooooooooohhh
fu** yeah!!
Y'all need a MICROPHONE...!
There's a rattlesnake somewhere in your workshop. Be careful guys.
Dude she grew a foot in the blink of an eye! 😳
My wife threw my coil pin away...
I am not impressed with the Ballistic advantage barrel accuracy. I have two in my recent builds, the 16" Hanson profile (556/223), and the 11.3" Hanson profile (556/223). The 16" averages about a 2" MOA at 100 yards, and the 11.3" averages about a 3" MOA at 100 yards. Both with a Caldwell Precision Turret Adjustable Ambidextrous Swivel and Tilt Detachable Shooting Rest. Using the same shooting rest, I get a 1" MOA using a 14.5" FN Cold Hammer Forged barrel from Palmetto State Armory, and about a 1.5" MOA from a 10.5" FN Cold Hammer Forged barrel, also from Palmetto State Armory. Ammo used was 55 grain, 62 grain and 77 grain in all 4 barrels. My experience level? 8 years US Army Infantry, with 3 deployments, and served as a basic rifle marksmanship instructor, 4 years as a police officer. So for my money, I'll stick with FN barrels in the future.
Hey man they offer a sub MOA guarantee you should contact them and tell them maybe they'll send you some decent barrels then
I always swab my barrels with Brasso. Before installing and after my first range trip. Others use lapping compound or JB Borebright. I use Brasso.
First thing I noticed is she standing on something? 😂
Pretty woman who can also build an upper?
we do not care to watch u flirt.... replace thses clowns
