    I recently just built a 17.7 premium BA barrel with the epsilon precision and I must say very pleased with fit and finish and more than anything how flat and soft shooting this setup is and gas is set perfect ejecting at 4:00. Could probably set up a 5gallon bucket and catch 90% of my brass. You guys produce amazing products. I will be building a shorty soon and start purchasing things in my cart!

    BA barrels are my favorite, theyve all been great for me and all 100% reliable and very accurate. I think I've used 8 of em (6 pencil 16" pencil, 1 16" gov, 1 11.5 gov). Theyve all been very accurate, some of my best groups have been from that 11.5 (quite a few ~about~ half moa groups, and 1 3/8moa group). Cant speak so much on the pencil barrels since I've only used them with a non magnified red dot and igman 55gr 223 fmj, but with all of them ive been able to get 2moa with that ammo and a red dot (romeo msr or holosun hs403r), for reference, ive gotten about the same accuracy with the same ammo and dot setup on an expo arms 16" chf chrome lined barrel, 9.5moa with the same ammo from a diamondback 16" nitride gov profile, and 14moa from a 16" faxon pencil with it.
    The faxon pencil is great and ive gotten 1moa with norma 55gr fmj 223, probably the best barrel if you want as light as possible, but its picky on ammo. Some ammo it shoots very well and some it does not (like i said, 14moa with the igman)
    The DB barrel was using a PA SLX 3x Microprism and the Faxon pencil was using a 1.5-4 Leupold, so clearly the factor there was the ammo.
    Im definitely a fan of BA barrels and so far i have not seen them be picky on ammo at all. Trying to decide what barrel to use on my current build, will probably end up going with another BA but kinda thinking about going 20", and i dont like gov profile so might have to look elsewhere. I'll have to take another look if they make a 20" hanson profile, and if so ill probably go with that. I also need to test some other ammo from my BA pencil barrels because i have a feeling theyll shoot sub moa with better ammo, and maybe toss a magnified optic on one. Either way, I'm more than happy with every BA barrel ive used and thats always my top recomendation to anyone.
    Oh and the other best part about BA barrels besides being accurate and reliable? Often times they can be had at a really good price. I usually use PA and have gotten them as low as 85 beans before, and im pretty sure ive even seen them lower than that. Absolutely can not beat it for the cost and even at full retail you really cant go wrong.

    Received a BA 11.5 modern barrel, index pin wasn’t lined up with the gas port. Now before you ramble on about it can still function while not being inline, you’re right in some cases but not all.....better QC is needed here. Finish was excellent, machining excellent but when some employee is installing a barrel extension things go tits up. Release gas port sizes on those 10.3s as well, that bozo Marty Daniel finally listened to his customers and went back to a .070.....at least offer the .070(I know androcorp orders from you and specs a .070) but you should offer it as well. 10.3 and .070 are synonymous with each other.

    I usually like ur vids but he ruined this 1 for me by straight faced lying to us! It is completely and utterly false that a lighter weight gun decreases recoil and its actually the exact opposite take an old single shot 12 gauge shotgun for example, it kicks like a mule now take a shotgun of the same design but make it a double barrel, its suddenly much more easy to shoot because of the weight of the wider stock and extra barrel... different example look at barrett... absolutely a monster in terms of size and weight but for good reason a .50 big has immense energy and recoil and aside from the brake the weight is the only thing saving your shoulder from the equal but opposite energy that goes downrange

    • @muddyhotdog4103
      @muddyhotdog4103 3 роки тому

      I thought he said it decreases recoil at first too. But of you listen he says "a lighter package, with the reduced recoil of a Hanson barrel"..
      Guess he means on terms of dwell time and gasport size? But ya was kinda like what the heck myself
