Solid idea for a video series. BA Sarah builds a BA pistol (with tiny tools)
Recently completed an upper with a BA barrel (16" Gov profile, Midlength) with the Aero Atlas rail + Aero receiver. Considering the price I paid (especially since a gas block was included) was not really expecting stellar performance out of the BA barrel (was going for light weight). Very impressed with how very accurate and light the system is (will put this against any of my other uppers for accuracy). My first BA barrel and so far impressed by the design and quality.
Congrats on the birth of your healthy baby girl and new addition to the family Clint! In honor of baby Raelyn (spelling?), I think BA should start making pistol barrels! New beautiful baby, new beautiful baby barrels.... makes sense to me 😊
They do make pistol Length barrels but barrels for pistols would be nice

I waited a year to build my grendel, just for that rail.
That gave me time to talk myself into a 3rd BA barrel too.
Are you guys building a rifle for me? On the shelf above you guys I see an unbuilt upper, lower, bcg, Geissele trigger, MRO, vortex razor, magpul buttstock, iron sights, and a law tactical folder. How did you guys know I needed those?

Congrats on the new baby! They’re way more fun than I ever imagined! Question for next episode: modern series barrels are not MPI inspected correct? How important is MPI on a barrel? Also, they do not have an 11* target crown. Advantages/disadvantages of this? Noticeable accuracy differences with or without the 11* crown?
Have you folks ever thought about selling barrels that are dimpled for the gas block?
I agree that would be very convenient.

Congratulations on the baby , we hope your enjoying every moment ! In your opinion. Which round would you choose on a performance and reliability standpoint for a PDW ? The 300 blackout or 5.56 , when using a barrel length of 7.5 to 8 inches shooting suppressed and unsuppressed ?

Congratulations Clint, hope Mom and baby are doing fantastic. I have a question. I have a 6.5 Grendel barrel that I haven’t gotten in too far yet. Should I order a 6mm Arc and proceed with that? The first two times I hit Your site, You had nothing in stock and didn’t show the 6.5 Grendel as a choice. Are You getting away from it in favor of the Arc. You will be selling a barrel either way, I just want to now which way to proceed. Thank You, Merry Christmas!
Could Clint talk about the buffer weight and spring he reccomends in 16" midlength and 10.5" Carbine length Ballistic Advantage barrels?
Waiting on my BA M4E1 receiver set, and 16” 556 Hanson mid length performance series to be delivered among other goodies. Please tell me there is a 14.5” M-LOK rail dropping soon. There are many nice rails out there but everything is just a little off for my tastes. BCM may get my money, which is fine, if I can’t find something comparable. Looking for *near* KAC or DD rigidity but lighter weight. Something closer to Noveske’s NSR but more robust and 14.5-ish inches. 🤞

Clint, I'm developing moment of inertia models for your (superior) barrels and was interested in the mass of your 0.625 Lo-Pro Gas Block and barrel pin. Would your please provide a measurement. Aside: I bought your 11.3" 5.56 BA Hanson Carbine Length AR 15 Barrel w/ Lo Pro Performance Series and in the assembly excitement....I failed to measure the combined mass.....Regards.

So I've been torn between two calibers for a pistol build to hunt hogs with here in Florida, should I go with a 300 AAC or go with a 223wylde?
