I'm still using my OnePlus One without seeing any need to upgrade...
Aimless_boii just evidence one plus devices are great. I would be too if it wasn't for the fact I dropped mine off a ski lift😫

Gaybe Newell I used to want a oneplus device only because the CyanogenMod team was running it. But not anymore 😕
That was the same for me, but after they closed, i started looking for custom roms and trust me, Custom ROM's are much better than CyanogenMod or LineageOS

Coming from a Galaxy s8 and Galaxy s8+ the OP5 is way more smoother and faster Samsung has tooooo much garbage on there operating system I'm really happy with my op5 plus it really should be funcional over gimmicks!

Freddy morales Same reason my best friend switched phones. Because of the skin for the phone and all the random shit it managed to make the phone lag, freeze and constantly had apps crashing. He switched to the iPhone 7+ because it was more accessible than the one plus 5, and he needed a new phone like right away lol. Said his next phone is gonna either be a Google Pixel or a One plus 5
The telephoto lens doesn't work at all in low-light situations, it just uses digital zoom with the primary lens.

Great review, however this jello motion thing must be on the 8GB because this doesn't happen with the 6GB version, which I have.

SpeedKing 320 turn off your gestures in settings as it is probably what it is. It does not run by itself silly

SpeedKing 320 screen capture. All the phone operations were pre recorded. So what you see is just a video playback of him operating the phone
No one talks about the audio quality 😒

I'd say g6 is better due to water resistance and higher resolution display, and the design on the g6 is brilliant.

Zane Barron if you are not a 3/3T user then you will find the OP5 to be a great phone. Since it's an incremental upgrade over the 3T, 3/3T users won't find much of a difference.
You can buy it from other websites besides OnePlus man. Look around. You can easily find it either used or new.

What I am hoping is that next year they bring on wireless charging and expandable storage, i can do without the warter resistence as I am hardly ever near the water with my device.
Howard Eastin wireless charging won't be able to charge the phone as fast as dash charge does. And with the dash charge, I really don't see why there is a need for wireless charging. Besides, with wireless charging the phone will be restricted for use at the charging deck. It's better if they invest their capital in bringing some IP certifications. Yes, not everyone takes their phone to a pool party, but clouds don't chexk if your phone is water resistant before it starts raining.
