Oh, I had something really unlucky. Firstly, my crush was one of my best friends. Secondly, this was my first crush, so I asked my friends to help. Turns out that 2 out of the 4 of them had already been rejected my crush over the years. They told me “ask them out and be over and done with it.” I got rejected because they didn’t feel ready for a relationship with anyone yet. Two months later, they’ve gotten together with someone else, and after a year and a half, they’re still together. I don’t want to give up on them yet. I’ll wait until they break up, or until their third anniversary, try one more time if the first situation occurs, or just give up on them at that point.

I’ve had a crush on this one girl. I knew her in middle school, because she was in band. She was a 7th grader, I was an 8th grader. When I moved to high school, I thought I wouldn’t see her for an entire year. Turns out, she joined Marching Band. She’s one of the best flute/piccolo players I’ve ever heard, and she’s made districts every year since 6th grade. (She’s now a Sophomore.) Her and I grew closer, started talking more, and actually hung out for the first time a few months after just talking normally, not romantically to each other. She’s the funniest, most selfless, nicest, prettiest girl I’ve ever encountered. She’s not what most guys would consider to be pretty, but there’s just something about her that makes my heart beat a few beats faster. We played Roblox, worked on our music together, (I’m in Drumline) and we just grew closer and closer. My sophomore year, I injured my back. Not a fracture, but I had really terrible pain in my lower back. This made it incredibly difficult for me to even bend my back, which is obviously a big deal when you need to lug around a snare drum or quads around a football field. I had to sit the season out. I began working, making a lot of money honestly. We continued talking, and still saw each other in Concert/Symphonic band, but Marching Band was when we spent the absolute most time together. Once I had gotten a little bit of money together after like two paychecks, I wanted to take her downtown, not in a romantic sort of way, (even though I wanted it to be). What’s funny is that she bought me a cookie at a football game the year before, and she said “You still owe me a cookie, don’t you?”, and I almost immediately told her “Let me run back to my house real quick.” She stood outside for a few moments, then I brought down a medium sized Tupperware filled with Christmas cookies me and my family had made earlier that day. Her and I ate them while we walked back to the main-street of downtown. It was becoming dark, and she lived around 10-15 blocks away. (I live in an older town, called Fredericksburg, and it’s historical, with a full original main street, and tons of 1800s mansions etc.) I walked with her, talked, and halfway there, we had finished the 20 something cookies in that Tupperware. She started saying things like “You guys are really good at making these!” “I really like the mint chocolate chip ones, you should 100% make me an entire container of these for my birthday…”. I don’t know why, but that slightly cold December evening, around 8pm, was so seemingly calming to me, especially with her around. I had found someone I legitimately felt myself around, and never felt embarrassed or at shame for stupid decisions I had ever made. She said “Record this” so I pulled out my phone, and pointed it at her. She started doing this stupid walk down the side walk, but it was still the funniest thing I’d seen for some reason. She turned around to look at me and started belly laughing as I stopped the recording. I still watch that video every f*cking day. The conversations we had? F*cking amazing. They could be about the most random things, for instance she one time started talking about why are cookies are called cookies, yet you bake them, and why is bacon called bacon, when you cook them? Just stupid conversations that for some reason I’ll never forget. She has 4 cats, so every time that we saw a cat while walking together, she made it her life’s mission to pet it/befriend it. We met a cat that we named boots, who lives a few blocks from me. We met a cat that we named Pearl, (after the drum brand of course), but also because she had this pearly white color to her fur. When we reached her house, she said she wanted me ti come inside and meet all 4 of her cats. I’m more of a dog person, but I could see myself living with those cats every day. Her Mom was on the couch, and we talked for a few minutes, then my Mom texted me saying I should start heading back. I walked out with her, and she told me to come over to her. She hugged me, and said “Thanks for hanging out with me today. And also, thanks for the cookies, Liam.” As I walked away, I kept looking back to see her walk back inside, then turn the porch light out. Even after she had gone, I stopped and looked at her house from up the hill, just sitting there in disbelief that a girl like that could exist. Every moment I had with her was special. There was and never has been a bad time between us. A very good band friend of ours passed away in a car accident a few days after that. We met before the funeral service at Starbucks. I bought her favorite, an Iced Caramel Macchiato with two extra pumps of espresso. (Yes.. I remember it.) We sat down at a table and shared photos of Berend. (That’s the friend who passed away.) She teared up in the middle of that busy Starbucks, but she didn’t care if people were watching her, or judging her. I wouldn’t be able to break down in a busy place, but she just did not care. I ushered her outside and just stood there hugging her for a moment. The world had gone silent for a few seconds… all I really cared about was her, and her only. We walked together to the funeral home, just across the street and to the left, and we sat through his service. I held her hand through it, kind of squeezing it to let her know that I was there for her. After the service, we got picked up by her Mom. I requested to be dropped off with Rose at their house. I felt like I needed a few minutes with her before coming home to do chores, etc. It went almost the same as the last time, but was still one of the highlights in my life. I continued talking to her, day after day, just as a friend. A few weeks later, I had worked up the courage to ask her out. But before then, I asked her gay best friend Carlos if she was into dating. He said and I quote, “Well around a month back, she said she didn’t wanna get into dating until college.” I was pretty upset I guess you could say. Most precious, perfect girl wanted to wait until she was old enough to make the absolute best decisions for herself. Since then, which was mid-January, I’ve respected that decision. In two years, I’ll be off to University most likely. She plans on going to JMU. I love JMU, so maybe I’ll go there not just for their music, their community, or campus, but go there just for her. Then again, as Forest Gump always said, “Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what ‘yuh gonna get.”

Firstly, my crush was one of my best friends.
Secondly, this was my first crush, so I asked my friends to help.
Turns out that 2 out of the 4 of them had already been rejected my crush over the years.
They told me “ask them out and be over and done with it.”
I got rejected because they didn’t feel ready for a relationship with anyone yet.
Two months later, they’ve gotten together with someone else, and after a year and a half, they’re still together.
I don’t want to give up on them yet.
I’ll wait until they break up, or until their third anniversary, try one more time if the first situation occurs, or just give up on them at that point.

Yesterday I went through my first heartbreak. Me and this girl have been helping each other and laughing so hard with each other. Shes a genuinely amazing person. Here are two things to consider. First she just see you as a friend and never likes you. Or second is that she likes you but she's probably a person that can't be single too much time and preferred go with another boy even if it's not the right guy.

I got to know that they broke up.
So I decided to tell him how I feel .but that time I was busy with my college entrance exam preparation so I decided i will tell him after the exam .
But just 4 days before the exam my best friend called me and said he moved to different city. Done ...I was shattered I cried out like hell that night . My friend was scolding me that the world's not over stop thinking about him . My love for him was so pure ...innocent and deep . I was not able to forget him. She told me to call him or text on insta....but I didn't like it coz i had loved him so much and it was not just something to tell over a call or text i wanted to see him and tell him everything by having a one to one talk . But that's not possible.

I've had a crush on this girl for pretty much the entirety of the year. I'm 11 years old and moving up to Year 7 after the summer. She's still in my class in September, and we're friendly. But one day, one of my friends got into a friendship issue and he got really upset so I went to help him solve it. I know this girl. I call her “Misty”. She always used to have intrest in me, as i did with her. One day i was going to confess. That was the day. I was mid sentence. I was gonna say it “Misty, Ive known you for a while and i think i like-“ and then… he joined.. my best friend, he was always there through my highs and lows. He always knew that i liked misty. I’ve had a crush on this one girl. I knew her in middle school, because she was in band. She was a 7th grader, I was an 8th grader. When I moved to high school, I thought I wouldn’t see her for an entire year. Turns out, she joined Marching Band. She’s one of the best flute/piccolo players I’ve ever heard, and she’s made districts every year since 6th grade. (She’s now a Sophomore.) Her and I grew closer, started talking more, and actually hung out for the first time a few months after just talking normally, not romantically to each other. She’s the funniest, most selfless, nicest, prettiest girl I’ve ever encountered. She’s not what most guys would consider to be pretty, but there’s just something about her that makes my heart beat a few beats faster. We played Roblox, worked on our music together, (I’m in Drumline) and we just grew closer and closer. My sophomore year, I injured my back. Not a fracture, but I had really terrible pain in my lower back. This made it incredibly difficult for me to even bend my back, which is obviously a big deal when you need to lug around a snare drum or quads around a football field. I had to sit the season out. I began working, making a lot of money honestly. We continued talking, and still saw each other in Concert/Symphonic band, but Marching Band was when we spent the absolute most time together. Once I had gotten a little bit of money together after like two paychecks, I wanted to take her downtown, not in a romantic sort of way, (even though I wanted it to be). What’s funny is that she bought me a cookie at a football game the year before, and she said “You still owe me a cookie, don’t you?”, and I almost immediately told her “Let me run back to my house real quick.” She stood outside for a few moments, then I brought down a medium sized Tupperware filled with Christmas cookies me and my family had made earlier that day. Her and I ate them while we walked back to the main-street of downtown. It was becoming dark, and she lived around 10-15 blocks away. (I live in an older town, called Fredericksburg, and it’s historical, with a full original main street, and tons of 1800s mansions etc.) I walked with her, talked, and halfway there, we had finished the 20 something cookies in that Tupperware. She started saying things like “You guys are really good at making these!” “I really like the mint chocolate chip ones, you should 100% make me an entire container of these for my birthday…”. I don’t know why, but that slightly cold December evening, around 8pm, was so seemingly calming to me, especially with her around. I had found someone I legitimately felt myself around, and never felt embarrassed or at shame for stupid decisions I had ever made. She said “Record this” so I pulled out my phone, and pointed it at her. She started doing this stupid walk down the side walk, but it was still the funniest thing I’d seen for some reason. She turned around to look at me and started belly laughing as I stopped the recording. I still watch that video every f*cking day. The conversations we had? F*cking amazing. They could be about the most random things, for instance she one time started talking about why are cookies are called cookies, yet you bake them, and why is bacon called bacon, when you cook them? Just stupid conversations that for some reason I’ll never forget. She has 4 cats, so every time that we saw a cat while walking together, she made it her life’s mission to pet it/befriend it. We met a cat that we named boots, who lives a few blocks from me. We met a cat that we named Pearl, (after the drum brand of course), but also because she had this pearly white color to her fur. When we reached her house, she said she wanted me ti come inside and meet all 4 of her cats. I’m more of a dog person, but I could see myself living with those cats every day. Her Mom was on the couch, and we talked for a few minutes, then my Mom texted me saying I should start heading back. I walked out with her, and she told me to come over to her. She hugged me, and said “Thanks for hanging out with me today. And also, thanks for the cookies, Liam.” As I walked away, I kept looking back to see her walk back inside, then turn the porch light out. Even after she had gone, I stopped and looked at her house from up the hill, just sitting there in disbelief that a girl like that could exist. Every moment I had with her was special. There was and never has been a bad time between us. A very good band friend of ours passed away in a car accident a few days after that. We met before the funeral service at Starbucks. I bought her favorite, an Iced Caramel Macchiato with two extra pumps of espresso. (Yes.. I remember it.) We sat down at a table and shared photos of Berend. (That’s the friend who passed away.) She teared up in the middle of that busy Starbucks, but she didn’t care if people were watching her, or judging her. I wouldn’t be able to break down in a busy place, but she just did not care. I ushered her outside and just stood there hugging her for a moment. The world had gone silent for a few seconds… all I really cared about was her, and her only. We walked together to the funeral home, just across the street and to the left, and we sat through his service. I held her hand through it, kind of squeezing it to let her know that I was there for her. After the service, we got picked up by her Mom. I requested to be dropped off with Rose at their house. I felt like I needed a few minutes with her before coming home to do chores, etc. It went almost the same as the last time, but was still one of the highlights in my life. I continued talking to her, day after day, just as a friend. A few weeks later, I had worked up the courage to ask her out. But before then, I asked her gay best friend Carlos if she was into dating. He said and I quote, “Well around a month back, she said she didn’t wanna get into dating until college.” I was pretty upset I guess you could say. Most precious, perfect girl wanted to wait until she was old enough to make the absolute best decisions for herself. Since then, which was mid-January, I’ve respected that decision. In two years, I’ll be off to University most likely. She plans on going to JMU. I love JMU, so maybe I’ll go there not just for their music, their community, or campus, but go there just for her. Then again, as Forest Gump always said, “Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what ‘yuh gonna get.”

I’ve got over her and have just accepted the fact that maybe it’s ok if I don’t have a girlfriend right now. I’m just trying to focus on myself at the moment.

I commented in one your videos about this girl at work I had feelings for her. I found out yesterday she is in relationship with someone. Completely devastated me and I don’t know what to do right now. I really want to tell her how I feel but I don’t want it to affect her new relationship. If I do, I will have to accept the consequences if I tell her how I feel about her. She might remove me completely from everything we’re connected to and lose her as a friend. *Omg I needed this*. There was this one girl in my Team Sports class and she was the first person to actually start calling me "Clay-Dog" becides my Cross Country coach. She literally started calling me that so much almost every person started calling me that and not even know how it started. But the problem was, after each class, she'd be walking with some other dude in the hallway and I felt way bad for sitting back and not talking to her. I talked to her a couple times but each time it was a conversation that lasted for quite a while *ngl*. Someone in my class actually told her knowing I was right next to her (I wasn't being weird btw, we were walking inside from playing Tennis) and this other girl says to her "you should dump him for Claydog. My heart sunk.
I gotta try this out but I also have to talk to my neighbor too and see how things work out first
