I've never feel a strong emotion like losing my crush before my very eyes. Not until recently. I adored this woman. All, please give me advice! I work (corporate) with this girl and for several months she showed signs that she had crush on me (though i am still not 100%, but very confident). Mostly her being star struck, nervous, and blushing when she saw me until I warmed her up with friendly convo. I didn't notice at first, but it became increasingly obvious. Eventually I liked her back and worked up the courage to ask her out. She told me she was seeing someone. That's okay this happens. Since I work with her, I tried my very best to not make it weird afterwards. I would talk to her and respect her as any other coworker and she reciprocated. Then about 2 weeks after she regressed hard and was way too shy to even say hi to me. I found this upsetting so I backed off completely for about a month. After that month I returned to normal and she seemed completely fine whenever I saw her. Then after some more time she seemed to regress again and now gets too shy to talk/say Hi to me and blushes hard when I see her. She is also again showing more signs of attraction. The advice I need is how do I make it not weird between us? At the end of the day she has a boyfriend so there is nothing to pursue romantically, but we work together. I don't want something we both do almost every day to be even a little uncomfortable for either of us. Side note - I understand that her nervousness around me could be because she thinks I'm weird or because that's the way she might be, but she is very outgoing and I have given her no reason to dislike me (other than asking her out). Moreso, my intuition from years of dating and being an outgoing person are telling me this is a crush (though could still be wrong). Regardless, if it is/was a crush, I want to know how to alleviate the tension between us. I mean yes, I know you can be in that moment where you wish you could romance her and not have your wife know about it. The more you focus on your wife, then there should be lesser temptations of you wanting to cheat on your wife. So if you see your crush dating someone else, not a good idea to show jealousy because even that sign of jealousy would be enough evidence of you cheating on your wife. All, please give me advice! I work (corporate) with this girl and for several months she showed signs that she had crush on me (though i am still not 100%, but very confident). Mostly her being star struck, nervous, and blushing when she saw me until I warmed her up with friendly convo. I didn't notice at first, but it became increasingly obvious. Eventually I liked her back and worked up the courage to ask her out. She told me she was seeing someone. That's okay this happens. Since I work with her, I tried my very best to not make it weird afterwards. I would talk to her and respect her as any other coworker and she reciprocated. Then about 2 weeks after she regressed hard and was way too shy to even say hi to me. I found this upsetting so I backed off completely for about a month.
After that month I returned to normal and she seemed completely fine whenever I saw her. Then after some more time she seemed to regress again and now gets too shy to talk/say Hi to me and blushes hard when I see her. She is also again showing more signs of attraction.
The advice I need is how do I make it not weird between us? At the end of the day she has a boyfriend so there is nothing to pursue romantically, but we work together. I don't want something we both do almost every day to be even a little uncomfortable for either of us.
Side note - I understand that her nervousness around me could be because she thinks I'm weird or because that's the way she might be, but she is very outgoing and I have given her no reason to dislike me (other than asking her out). Moreso, my intuition from years of dating and being an outgoing person are telling me this is a crush (though could still be wrong). Regardless, if it is/was a crush, I want to know how to alleviate the tension between us.
The only options I can think of are to just deal with ith (best?), give her more space (it's been 4 months since I asked her out though!), or try to win her fancy (seems disrespectful).

Its best to do that, cuz it helps get that thought out of your mind of her telling me she had a bf. Sure it might take awhile to get over, but it will work out in the end.

Once your crush is dating someone else, that should be your motivation to not cheat on your wife. I mean yes, I know you can be in that moment where you wish you could romance her and not have your wife know about it. The more you focus on your wife, then there should be lesser temptations of you wanting to cheat on your wife. So if you see your crush dating someone else, not a good idea to show jealousy because even that sign of jealousy would be enough evidence of you cheating on your wife. So all you need to do is focus on your wife. Never mind about your crush because you don't want to do things that lead to cheating on your wife.
