Fun. It's an oficial emulator though. Usually emulators are banned if they're not legitimate to the company. Anyways, its always the runner's decisions. SM64 has It Split, this doesnt

You're basically just restating the fact that they made the decision (which goes without saying), and then not elaborating. Personally, as someone not in that community, it seems like a dumb choice.

I think he should do 2 episodes, like he did for sm64. 1 for any%, and 1 for 100% and all dungeons
Nickzurt agreed
Wake Dont forget the gender controversies, I can see the heated debates in the comment section already 🔥🔥🔥
Incredibly this record has only dropped to a 24:30 as of sept 29th, 2022 by sigmakong
I love the synthwave in the background but the Perfect Dark pieces every now and then are also a real treat :D
This is crazy! I’ve been watching all these speed runs thinking “who figures out the glitches? Who has the time?” Liked and subscribed
"It's-a me, Stalin"
"Dark humor is like food, not everyone gets it"
Dark humor is like kids with Cancer: never gets old.
Jason Berg Well jokes on you, the Avengers visited me last week so who’s laughing now?
@@AVerySexuallyDeviantOrange Not funny.
Signakong brought it down 8 seconds on 9/11 of this year. Just thought y’all would want to know the record did indeed go a bit lower.
He really drove a plane into both of the previous world records.
OOOOOOOHHH BOY-
Update: Signakong has brought it down to 24:30. That run was done November 2020
We really need a majoras mask ocarina duo vid!!!!
It's so weird going back to your old videos and not hearing the iconic theme song.
I used to be completely uninterested in glitched speedruns. After watching the way progression works on them I can see the appeal.
Is it just me or is every game one of the best games of all time?
No, it isn't just you.
It's also your mom. Hope that helps.
If anybody was curious The updated wr today is by signakong at 24:30
SO THEY’RE FINALLY HERE

Justdust Pvper you know him well
I don’t like speedrunning but I love your documentaries on speedrunning and I don’t know why. Thank you and keep them coming!
This video has been here for 3 years and I still enjoy watching it
0:36 DESCENT 1 MUSIC BOOOIIIII (also several other tracks throughout the vid
I recognized it immediately! :) One of my favorite 90s games
Are you aware of the spiritual successor, Overload?
You sir, get a like for the Descent catch.
I think they like Descent. 1:58 should be a track of Descent
Glad to know I wasn't the only one to catch it. Oldschool dos love.
Can you do "World Record Progression: Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (N64)" soon or in the later future?
I know this is a late reply but it has really changed in the past 2 years.. mostly in the past few months.
@@jonahheisler4765 Even more true for Ocarina. That record got halved in the course of a few months recently
@@soni-switch5207 Yeah ZFG has had a field day
Also, I wonder if summoningsalt will ever remake an updated oot video.
2027: beating the game without getting all the characters
2027: No items, Donkey Kong only, Final Destination.
2030 beat the game without turning it on.
2050: beat the game by playing a different game
2100: Beating The Game By Smacking Your Console With A Sledgehammer
20XX: beating the game without having it
I was never this interested into speed runs until I found your channel, these are awesome 👌
Thanks for helping me sleep, man. You have no idea how much I appreciate your videos. Please post more.
Paper Mario 64 and TTYD please... Both have lots of content to work with.
Say no more:

That perfect dark music.... is perfect!
“Welcome to trick three: skipping the colored bananas” made me laugh so hard
Respect to all the work you put into making these. Explaining the game before hand etc.
And this right here is why I love DK64 speedruns the most. A game where walls literally stopped existing.
20 days ago the record is now low 24 minute. it’s insane.
3:19 kinda reminds me of pretty patties. remember, Spongebob? hello?
Never gets old to listen to this
Summoning Salt has some of the best formatted video essay style videos on UA-cam
This record seemed unbeatable. Then players figured out if you pick this character, punch the air while standing on this pixel, then jump and kick the wall exactly 8 frames later, you can get a frame perfect skip at this location.
I made that up but it’s always something like that. Speed runners are insane lol
