      I learned crochet and knitting from my grandmothers when I was young and I hadn't done it in decades...Ill be 48 next week and I have been crocheting for the past year daily and it's great for pain and also not smoking! Keep it up and feel better.

    My mother did this stitch! It’s WONDERFULLY fluffy! She left an unfinished blanket when she died and I couldn’t figure out how to finish it. ☹️ She was a lefty and I just couldn’t figure it out by unstitching and reverse engineering it. I’ve tried and tried for 15 YEARS! You have NO IDEA what this tutorial means to me. 😥
    Thank You SO MUCH! ❤️

    I. Love. You. My mother tried to teach me to crochet when I was 10 or 11, but I always got bored after finishing the foundation chain. FFWD a yr or 2 & I graduated to the sc...I thought. Unfortunately my mother wasn't very patient so instead of asking to b shown repeatedly, I decided to wing it. 👍 After crocheting, unraveling, crocheting, unraveling (literally thousands of times), getting beyond frustrated, retiring, deciding to give it yet another go, (even buying a few books) all so many times over the last 20+ yrs, I'm @ it again! This time though, there's UA-cam! I've watched several 'Beginner Friendly' vids, but they aren't quite "beginner enough". Thank u for being such a conscientious, patient teacher. Until your video, no one's been able to crack my "crochet thickness". Yay! 👏👏😍

    Who’s here in 2018? I am! 😉 thank you for this easy tutorial. I’m not a beginner however, every time I start a new project I always end up quitting because it takes such a long time to finish something. I’m going to start this today. Let’s hope I finish it. Seems super easy and this tutorial gave me motivation to start crocheting again. Thank you! 😉

      I know what you mean about finishing projects! If you use a super chunky yarn for this, you can complete it pretty quickly!

      This is exactly what I was about to ask. I want to try this for a gift, but I don't have a lot of free time! How many hours do you think it will take a non skilled person, give or take?

      Joanne Hewlett About how many skeins did you end up using?

    • @joannehewlett2206
      @joannehewlett2206 4 роки тому

      @@nicolethomas3809 I used the Bernat Yarnspirations Baby Blanket. Each ball has 220 yds/201 m, I used about 2 3/4 balls for the size I was looking for.
