The crochet blanket is so soft and squishy. You wouldn’t want to put it down. The crochet stitch pattern is a very easy single row repeat that you can easily memorize. You can make a crochet baby blanket or make one for your home. I am sure you would want to make several crochet blankets once you try it.

I can't thank you enough for this video! I'm new to crochet - started at 67 (it's never too late to learn something new)! I made two blankets using #4 yarn and they took f-o-r-e-v-e-r. I said no more of those please and then found #6 baby yarn and this 3-hour blanket. Thanks to your instruction I've now made close to two dozen of these! I can't get it down to 3 hours, but I can do them in 4 and it is so satisfying. You've made a real difference in my work and these blankets wind up going to hospitals for children. Thank you so very much.
Thank you for your kind word, your comment absolutely made my day. I am so happy to hear you picked up crochet at 67. So proud of you!
One of the most difficult things for me as someone who is trying to learn to crochet, is not learning the stitches, but understanding where I am supposed to insert the hook. You do an excellent job of showing this and explaining what you are doing. You also have a good camera angle and focus on the work, so this is easy for me as a beginner to follow what you are doing. You are an excellent teacher. I hope you will be making many more videos. Subscribed! 👍
I am new at making videos and your feedback means a lot to me. Thank you so much for subscribing.
Is there access o a printed pattern direction for this blanket?
@@georgettejennings9059 up in the description of the video you'll find a link to the written pattern.
what size of crochet hook did you use for this?
Georgette Jennings ,
For a beginner this video allowed me to compete my blanket within 5 hours! Thank you and I've since subscribed❤❤
I'm really happy to hear that, yay!
How many skeins of yarn did it take?
Great idea! I like that I can make this without cutting my yarn! Thank you!
You showed up in my recommended feed...I'm so glad!!! Thank you for a great tutorial!! I'll be watching a lot more of your videos!!
Hi Michelle, I am really glad to hear you like my video. Thank you so much.
Pattern works up fast, Thank you for a pattern that doesn’t take days to make! Love 💗 this!
You are so welcome!
Thank you! I made this using a multicolor yarn so it was even easier. I added a solid boarder and it looks great!
Great job!
What border pattern did you use?
I don't follow many crafters but you are on my list. You clear with your instructions and that makes all the difference. Thank you.
Thanks so much 😊
You explain this so well, and show what you are doing clearly. Thank you so much
Thank you so much for watching.
I love working with Bernat yarn. Lovely blanket x
Me too. I love how squishy it is.
Great tutorial! It was easy to follow and I appreciate all the tips for joining colors and making borders! Thank you!
You are very welcome.
the best part of this video is just explaining simply how to insert hook at the top middle of the triangle without a lot of fancy talk or eliminating that explanation which is so important. Thank you! These are the types of videos I look for. simple, precise explaining. Going to try this. The only thing I will change is Ill do 2 rows of each color so the color change will meet up at the end and I won't have to keep cutting off to change colors bc weaving in those ends takes a long time.
Thank you for your kind words.
It is so clear, it's great 👍
Thank you for ALL of your crochet videos! I have learned new stitches from you and you are a good teacher. Keep it up! 👍🏻 Bonnie
You are so welcome!
Easy to follow! Thank you!
I have bulky yarn that I’ve been needing (wanting!) to use! Perfect pattern for beginner like me! Thanks!

I am glad you like it. Thank you for watching it.
My Nana recently re-taught me how to crochet (she taught me about 15-20 years ago) and I've been trying to make a very small blanket for my niece who is due in February. This tiny blanket is taking me forever, and I've been very discouraged so I havent picked it back up in a couple weeks.
For my families Secret Santa this year, I selected my Nana and I really want to make her a blanket. I think that would mean way more to her than buying something. This was the first link I clicked after searching "fastest crochet blanket" and I believe I dont have to search any longer. This is what I'll be making for my Nana. :)
Thank you so much!!!!
Hi Renee, I am honored and, I am sure your Nana will appreciate your thought behind the gift.
How long did it take you to make? Because I’m making one for my niece and want it done by February 8 th and I’ve been working on it for two months already and only have half of it done IF THAT?!!!
Thanks for the fun pattern. I only had a size 8 hook and it worked out great. I love the texture the triangle pattern makes.
I am glad to hear that. Thank you.
I love this yarn and I have made so many blankets with it! And they are so warm and cozy! 😎👍🏽
It is so soft and squishy, right?
I’m making this with colour gradient yarns and it’s turning out great! Can’t wait to finish.

Great tutorial, thank you so much! I have started crocheting again after 30 years and I’m loving it. Luckily I managed to purchase a pile of yarn just before lockdown, so this will be perfect for my first grandchild who is due in one week! I should manage to complete it on time but heaven only knows when this curfew will be lifted 😢
Warmest greetings to you and fellow crocheters from Mzanzi 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦.

Yes, absolutely. I taught my daughter to crochet when she was 8 too.
I just did your pattern on a larger scale for my son's full size bed... it was so easy to do and your description/show-how made it a walk in the park for me! Thank you so much for this video- it helped me actually accomplish what I set out to do and my son got an amazing blanket! My addition to the end was to add a tassel at the edge!
I am so glad to hear that, thank you!
Arminda how many chains did you start with and how large did you make.
How many skeins did it take?
Thank you!! I just bought Bernat bulky and was looking for a pattern!! Excited to try it!

I started crocheting during the quarantine, but never could follow patterns or videos and always ended up with failed projects. Your videos are SO easy to follow and I'm so happy to say I managed to start this blanket with no issues :) I'm hoping to make some baby blankets for friends/family who are currently trying for babies!
Wonderful!
Very nice blanket. Thank you 🐨🇦🇺
Thank you for watching.
I like this style and also crochet in the same style!
Did you mean the way I hold the yarn, lol?
Excellent. Glad I found your channel. I needed a quick easy throw blanket pattern.
Glad it was helpful!
I so love watching you videos you make it look so easy and make me better thank you
Thanks so much 😊
Good instructions thank you 🙏🏼
I have just finished this blanket,.cannot get the colours you used anywhere on the net. So I settled for yellow and white . The blanket is so simple and great for a beginner like me. I'm a bit worried about the end bit and hope it doesn't unravel in the wash. Just doesnt seem secure. You didn't show what you did with the tail once you had went along the top of the triangle so I just snipped it. Maybe next time I'll do the border... Which will be soon as I love the pattern and you've made it so easy to do. Thank you
Thanx, this was very good for me as a beginner! Easy so see, just hard to make it loose enough. But I'm trying!
Keep at it and you will get there.
You showed up in my recommendations and I’m glad you did, I just bought lots of Bernat Blanket yarn on sale! Thanks for a quick easy pattern. I subscribed!!
Yay! I am so glad to hear that. I love working with Bernat Blanket.
when you start a new row do you only skip one first then two the rest of the way?
Does anyone know how many skeins you’ll need for this blanket
Isn't that wonderful? I love when that happens :)
Nice demo, like the pattern, going to start a baby blanket, but the same colour. Thank you🌹❤️🙏

Love it thank u
Thank you so much.
Thank you for making this video
Glad it was helpful!
I’m going to try this but i am going to use an ombré yarn (so no yarn switching for me) and to make it less heavy and bulky I’m going to chain 2 on the sides and do half double crochet instead of full double crochet. I love this design. You are a wonderful teacher and thorough!
Have fun and thank you for your kind words!
Love this pattern! Just finished my blanket that would fit a queen size bed! Now working on a baby blanket. The pattern is also so versitile and easy to learn. Thank you for your beautifully instructed video ^-^
I am really glad to hear this. Thank you for sharing your experience with me.
How many balls for queen blanket please?
Do you remember how many you put in your starting chain?
This is a great gift
Thank you so much.
Thank you for this video. I’m on my 2nd baby blanket and I’ve only been crocheting 3 weeks. This time I used a 9 hook.
Great job!
I'm just bookmarking the time where it shows how to go back to the first color without tying off (for my own reference). 16:05
I love this yarn and have lots of it. Thank you for this tutorial. I'm definitely making this as gifts. The problem will be giving it away as I might want them for myself. 🙂
I can understand. This yarn makes the squishiest blankets and it can be hard to part with it.
thanks so much for this!!!!
You're so welcome!
Loved the way you explain mam..
Glad to hear that
great video! beautiful blanket ❤ thankyou
You are welcome!
very nice thx for sharing
You are very welcome.
It looks like your trick reduces waste and weaving ends in. I can see how it needs a border too.
