I've just started doing your yoga classes. I've been doing yoga for 5 yrs and being 73 was finding studio classes not really to my liking and couldn't get the teacher I liked at the classes I attended. I decided to give your classes a go. I have loved every one I have done, which makes me want to do a class every morning, mostly 30 mins. I was worried that I would not be disciplined enough to stick to it but I have and look forward to a new one every morning. I walk for an hour every morning at 5.30am so by 8.30 my body is ready to do whatever class I choose. Kassandra thank you so much for your great classes and being a pensioner the free classes are much appreciated. I live in Darwin, Australia.
I have been doing 2 of your online yoga classes every day for 8-10 weeks. OMG I have no hip pain at all at night or anytime during the day. I was never an exercise person but if I can't commit to a half hour a day at age 66 years old in retirement then I have an issue. Thank you so much Kassandra . I will at some point get my hips off the chair can feel I am much stronger and love the twists.

My daughter has been encouraging me to try yoga for years. I tried just a few times and found it so frustrating but then realized the yoga I was going to with a friend was way above my level as a beginner and a senior. I'm 67 years old and just today found your channel and tried the chair yoga. I never realized how out of shape I was until I finished this! It looks so easy when you do it but I can barely move my arms and legs in these positions. I did get frustrated initially but stuck with it and I can really feel a difference. I'm sure I'll feel it even more tomorrow when I wake up but I will keep at it. Will get to it again tomorrow morning - thank you so much. If I can do what you do in this video I will feel really accomplished. Shouldn't take me more than a year or so LOL

Yes, more chair yoga for us experienced yogis who have injuries. I hurt my knee and am trying to resist doing my usual yoga practice. This is a great in-between so I can still do my daily yoga but also protect my knee from further injury. Thanks!
Wow, this a bit of a work out. First time I am trying this. It was recommended to me by a friend of mine as I espressed to her that I needed to find some chair exercises to do. Just to begin to do something. Just for info, I am a big guy at 65 years with knee issues. So doing what I used to do it is not feasible at this time. So I am walking my way back to health with different options. Like this chair yoga. I did as much as I could. I will continue to do this and see how it works for me. Thank you for setting this up.

In the past 16 months, I've had a shoulder replacement, carpal tunnel surgery on both wrists and a femur fracture and meniscus tear. Plus I turned 65, so I was very nervous about doing many movements and this has been a great way to regain some flexibility in a safe way. Thank you!

I’m a 70 widow and since my husband died I haven’t been motivated by anything and I gained 45 pounds over the past 3 years. I needed Something that I could do with my severe back problems. I have yet another surgery coming up in December so I wanted to at least get back some muscle tone. Your workout is really good. The only thing I can’t do is spread my legs out to the side but I’m going to work on it! Thank you 🤗
I do a lot of your “regular” classes already, but as someone with a chronic illness that causes pain and fatigue I really appreciate you making this class! I love your yin routines for pain management and I could see this also being a great gentle routine for days when I don’t feel so hot.

Thanks so much for this chair yoga session. I’ve been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Prior to my disability, I was a runner and dancer. I’ve been advised now to be gentle with my body through gentle walks and yoga. This is a great start for me.

Had mouth surgery and the doctor recommended me to avoid looking down, or taking poses with my head low. I truly needed some stretching and this really helped (normally I follow daily beginner/intermediate videos from Kassandra). Of course I avoided folding but at least I could do some poses and my body is really grateful for it. Thank you Kassandra ❤️

I am 3 weeks out from a hysterectomy surgery and this was my first attempt at yoga and big stretching and this was exactly what I need. I will be doing this exercise all week. When I stretched my left glute I definitely shed a tear of relief. Thank you!

I just started doing Yoga. My work is offering free classes twice a month so I thought why not try it. I am really liking it and your video is fantastic. Thank you for creating this video. All I can say is if you have ever wanted to try Yoga and think you can't; I am here to say yes you can. I am 64, overweight and this is the best way to introduce yourself into an exercise program.
I had used a yoga app for several years and while never getting beyond a beginner level, I was able to do all of the poses. Due to new health challenges, I am no longer able to do yoga on the mat/floor. I have switched to chair yoga and purchased your class on Udemy and have really enjoyed it. For the past month I have been unable to exercise and now need shorter sessions than the 30 minute classes. This video is perfect for where I am now. I would appreciate additional beginner chair yoga classes on UA-cam that are less than 30 minutes. Thank you Kassandra.

I am limited to traditional yoga due to knee injuries and an arthritic foot. Chair yoga is an excellent alternative and provides me with healthy stretches and renewed flexibility. Thank you for making these classes available to people like me.
Just wanted to say a huge thank you! I’ve had 5 major abdominal/spinal surgeries in recent years. (A 6th one due in the next few months). I’ve been trying to get back to doing yoga and pilates stretches to recover my fitness but have found even previously simple stretches a challenge. This chair yoga session was so manageable and it felt great to finally achieve some really active stretches. I plan to do these daily between now and the next surgery to help strengthen my core muscles and then resume them as soon as I’m able post surgery. Hopefully in time I’ll be able to get back to doing regular yoga and pilates sessions. In the meantime completing a productive exercise session has felt empowering.
I am recovering from foot surgery and am still in the non-weight-bearing stage. This video and others like it have helped me stay active with limited mobility. I appreciate it so much. It has helped me mentally, emotionally, and physically.
This was awesome! I injured my knee 2 in half years ago. The physical therapy didn't help much. I'm 54 now and have gained so much weight and dieting isn't in my motivation right now. These chair yoga moves are similar to the class I used to attend. I feel comfortable and confident in doing these as they are familiar. It's great I can do it online in my own time too!
This was a great yoga class for one who has had surgeries arthritis.no dangerous moves and for senior who did yoga for many earlier years getting back to gentle movements explained very well.glad I found you will do daily.

Love the chair yoga to do for a change. When you're not feeling like you have a lot of flexibility for the day, this is great! Please do more of these just to mix it up a bit.
Hi, I did yoga for many years until a back injury forced me to finish. I love this session, and so easy to do. I'm feeling stretched and managed to lift myself a few cms off the chair on my left side. I find it makes it easier to follow if I reverse the sides, i.e. when Kassandra says right, I go left iso that I can follow the movements on the screen. Thank you Kassandra.
This is a great class for rehab from surgery, as I am needing at this time. I enjoy your style, Kassandra....not too many cues to overwhelm or irritate the experience. Your authenticity shines bright! TY ❤❤❤
Love the chair yoga, great while I am working at my desk. It is a wonderful way to incorporate it into my day. It is also helpful since I broke a toe, it is healing but I am fearful of regular yoga. Thank you for introducing me to yoga. More beginner chair yoga please!!!
Had my stroke 2012 thanksgiving day due to diabetes and have my left body weakness. And I found this video like 6 months ago and it really helped me, physically and mentally. I do a lot of your “regular” classes already, but as someone with a chronic illness that causes pain and fatigue I really appreciate you making this class! I love your yin routines for pain management and I could see this also being a great gentle routine for days when I don’t feel so hot.

Thanks so much for this chair yoga session. I’ve been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Prior to my disability, I was a runner and dancer. I’ve been advised now to be gentle with my body through gentle walks and yoga. This is a great start for me.

Had mouth surgery and the doctor recommended me to avoid looking down, or taking poses with my head low. I truly needed some stretching and this really helped (normally I follow daily beginner/intermediate videos from Kassandra). Of course I avoided folding but at least I could do some poses and my body is really grateful for it. Thank you Kassandra ❤️

Thank you so much for this. I'm 57 and have been working out for years. I practiced yoga and ironically got a shoulder injury. I'm on the mend from a back injury from pickleball (stereotypical 😅) and heard about chair yoga. This lesson is great and I'm going to continue doing it and probably more. It's the only stretching that hasn't hurt my back. Thanks!

I am 3 weeks out from a hysterectomy surgery and this was my first attempt at yoga and big stretching and this was exactly what I need. I will be doing this exercise all week. When I stretched my left glute I definitely shed a tear of relief. Thank you!

I just started doing Yoga. My work is offering free classes twice a month so I thought why not try it. I am really liking it and your video is fantastic. Thank you for creating this video. All I can say is if you have ever wanted to try Yoga and think you can't; I am here to say yes you can. I am 64, overweight and this is the best way to introduce yourself into an exercise program.

I had used a yoga app for several years and while never getting beyond a beginner level, I was able to do all of the poses. Due to new health challenges, I am no longer able to do yoga on the mat/floor. I have switched to chair yoga and purchased your class on Udemy and have really enjoyed it. For the past month I have been unable to exercise and now need shorter sessions than the 30 minute classes. This video is perfect for where I am now. I would appreciate additional beginner chair yoga classes on UA-cam that are less than 30 minutes. Thank you Kassandra.

I am limited to traditional yoga due to knee injuries and an arthritic foot. Chair yoga is an excellent alternative and provides me with healthy stretches and renewed flexibility. Thank you for making these classes available to people like me.
Just wanted to say a huge thank you! I’ve had 5 major abdominal/spinal surgeries in recent years. (A 6th one due in the next few months). I’ve been trying to get back to doing yoga and pilates stretches to recover my fitness but have found even previously simple stretches a challenge. This chair yoga session was so manageable and it felt great to finally achieve some really active stretches. I plan to do these daily between now and the next surgery to help strengthen my core muscles and then resume them as soon as I’m able post surgery. Hopefully in time I’ll be able to get back to doing regular yoga and pilates sessions. In the meantime completing a productive exercise session has felt empowering.
I am recovering from foot surgery and am still in the non-weight-bearing stage. This video and others like it have helped me stay active with limited mobility. I appreciate it so much. It has helped me mentally, emotionally, and physically.
This was awesome! I injured my knee 2 in half years ago. The physical therapy didn't help much. I'm 54 now and have gained so much weight and dieting isn't in my motivation right now. I think this yoga is really going to help me change my life. I already feel invigorated after doing the excersizes in this video today. Thank you! 🙏

These chair yoga moves are similar to the class I used to attend. I feel comfortable and confident in doing these as they are familiar. It's great I can do it online in my own time too!

This was a great yoga class for one who has had surgeries arthritis.no dangerous moves and for senior who did yoga for many earlier years getting back to gentle movements explained very well.glad I found you will do daily.

Hi, I did yoga for many years until a back injury forced me to finish. I love this session, and so easy to do. I'm feeling stretched and managed to lift myself a few cms off the chair on my left side. I find it makes it easier to follow if I reverse the sides, i.e. when Kassandra says right, I go left iso that I can follow the movements on the screen. Thank you Kassandra.

Love the chair yoga, great while I am working at my desk. It is a wonderful way to incorporate it into my day. It is also helpful since I broke a toe, it is healing but I am fearful of regular yoga. Thank you for introducing me to yoga. More beginner chair yoga please!!!
Had my stroke 2012 thanksgiving day due to diabetes and have my left body weakness. And I found this video like 6 months ago and it really helped me, physically and mentally. I have wanted to get back into yoga for some time now but have found kneeling poses impossible due to a knee replacement. I’m glad I found this video and would be interested in others that have been adapted for those with knee replacements.
OMGosh, 68 and have not stretched by body like that for 10 years. Bad knees and athritis in spine. But I really like this and for the first time in a very long time my body feels alive. Thank you.

My wife has vertigo so yoga with a lot of bending is out of the question. Most of these will be good for her and the few where the head is to go down, she can just do as far as she's comfortable with. Your voice is soothing and helps me to focus because my mind tends to wander...a lot. Thank you
