Hey really like your vids, have you ever tried running your amp set to a mild overdrive and then use more gain from the pedal so you could run a delay in front of an amp that has no fx loop. I’ve seen Zack Wylde use a carbon copy in front and he’ll just use it for leads which is mostly what I would use a delay for.

Or then I don’t use it all and just tell FOH to add some delay to my leads and cleans 😊

You sounds great, strong and massive like Zakk, but why your settings always has 100500 tons of highs and sand? It’s not good for your mix, for your and followers ears too
Thanks! I like the guitar tone to be in your face, mean and aggressive 😊. May I ask what speakers you use? With my Genelecs the sound is just fine and some of the sounds / settings are exactly the ones I’ve used for example on Cyhra’s albums. I mean I haven’t dialed my sound to be listened with laptop ”speakers” but with real ones 😊. And I’m not saying that you use those cos I don’t know 😎
@@EugeValovirta230V It sounds great to my ears, so it's probably the speakers that cause your ear discomfort.
@@rudolfo211 Thanks Marc. One of the reasons is maybe cos I don't use any post processing (EQ, compression etc.) on these videos 'cos I want the gear to sound like it sounds "au naturel" :-). When I'm doing demos /recordings etc. and mix the guitars "properly" I usually add low and high pass filters to cut out the unnecessary low end and that high end sand.
@@EugeValovirta230V I think that's the most reasonable approach what you do. We want to hear how the gear sounds raw. Otherwise, it could be a little misleading. By the way, it's me, Marcus. :)
@@rudolfo211 I agree. That's what I wanna hear when I check out gear demos 'cos it's exactly like you said IMO too :-) Oh hi! :-)
