Not too many people can touch Sebastian Bach when it comes to vocal ability. He is a very skilled, powerhouse vocalist. Skid Row are an amazing band, with so many great songs.
It’s a beautiful song with a very deep meaning. It shows in his vocals. I’ve known people who went downhill from their addiction. Some gave it up, some didn’t. I ALWAYS get teary eyed hearing this song. Thank you very much for doing it!! I am very jealous of his hair, too!!! 🤘🤘🎸🎸❤️
oh since you all said he's got it after he split from skid row sebastian bach was also a lead in multiple broadway musicals that some broke records and was number 1 for a long time!
He still tours, makes new music, sounds and looks great. I saw him back in May at a small venue and had quite the experience…I was in the front and he walked straight up to me, pointed to me and told me the next song was for me. The song was “Here I Am”. I must’ve looked like a deer in the headlights cause I have always thought he was so pretty. The lady next to me was like, “you should have taped that”. I told her I was too in shock. Then at the end of the show he tossed me the set list. My 21 yr old son was with me and was laughing at me being called out. It was a great time and memory. Y’all should check out “Quicksand Jesus” and the new ones “Everybody Bleeds” and “What do I got to Lose”
Drugs are a horrible thing. It’s something that’s very hard to quit. This song hits hard, I was a drug addict but fortunately not heroin. I have a fear of needles but I watched many friends end up on the ground and in the ground. I was fortunate that I was able to quit right before my first daughter was born, she literally saved my life. I’ve been sober for over 30 years and it’s something you have to work at day after day after day. But my daughters are worth it and life is worth it. Enjoyed your reaction to a very heavy song for me, actually one of my favorite songs.
This is from 1991's "Slave to the Grind" album, the first heavy metal album to debut at #1. Good thing too, Nirvana and the grunge movement was just around the corner to shut the 80's bands down. btw, he was in 13 episodes of Gilmore girls as well as 4 Broadway shows. Not bad eh?
My favorite Skid Row song, Bach absolutely pours his heart and soul out all over the screen. For something a little different from them, try Monkey Business or Youth Gone Wild. Hold onto yer britches!
Thanks for doing this one! I could not get enough Skid Row when I was in high school, and when this came out in 1991 it was huge. ... By the way, as a Generation X;er, my birthday is September 24th, three days after Kathy's. Cheers from northeast Ohio!
So few people understand the symbology of the white horse as a representation of the nightmare that is heroin addiction. That's what this song is all about. Its so painful to watch someone you love fall to this. This is what inspired those heart crushing vocals you're hearing.
That's so nice you Kathy and Donna help each other out when you trying to remember something about the video if that's not a loving mother and daughter relationship for us to see every time on your reactions that's why we like watching your channel. And lulu hey l liked watching the golden girls lol. Wintersun Alex ❄️❤️❤️❤️
Great reaction!!! Hard to go wrong with Skid Row! Everyone knows someone, or of someone going through this. Some make it out some don't. Luckily I made it out!!! It's been said that this song was written about Steven Adler, the drummer for Guns N Roses at that time. Take care ladies!!! CHEERS 🍻🤟👏
Vocally he was pretty much in a class of his own except the guy from steel heart, there is a new group that has a great singer there called black top mojo and the song to watch is called prodigal son
SKID ROW (USA) Line-up ("Slave To The Grind" Album, 1991) Sebastian Bach: Vocals Dave Sabo: Guitars Scott Hill: Guitars Rachel Bolan: Bass Rob Affuso: Drums "Wasted Time" was their third single released from their second album "Slave to the Grind". The song was released in 1991 and written by bandmates Sebastian Bach, Rachel Bolan and Dave "the Snake" Sabo. It became the band's last song to appear on the US Billboard Hot 100 and was promoted with a music video. Lead singer Sebastian Bach said the song was written about the spiraling effect of drug use on his friend Steven Adler, the original drummer of hard rock band Guns N' Roses. The song reached number 88 on the Billboard Hot 100, number 30 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks and number 20 on the UK Singles chart. Cheers from CHILE dear ladies!!!
This Song Is About Former Guns N' Roses Drummer Steven Adler Who Was Fired From GnR Due To His Drug Addiction He Nearly Died Thankfully Steven Is Still With Us and Is Still Touring With His Own Band Adlers Appetite, Sebastian Bach Had Great Vocals Back In The 90's Other Songs Worth Checking Out From Skid Row - Quicksand Jesus In a Darkened Room Youth Gone Wild Slave To The Grind 👍👏🥰🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪
A fantastic song, with a powerful message on drugs. And for your ladies, you got the eye candy again! Saw them live twice in the 90's, an amazing band, and enjoyed them far more than Guns 'n' Roses.
Sebastian Bach has a new solo album in 2024 - 'Child within the man'... U can see what he looks like now in the music video for the singles - " (Hold on) To the dream" 🤘🤘🔥🔥and "What do I got to lose?"
Should watch "living on a chain gang" next. For me, it's sebastians' best vocal performance, and I'm not sure theres too many other people on the planet who could sing it the way sebastian did. 🤘🤘
Funny story: Back in the early 90s, I was head over heels in love with Skid Row, or more specifically, Sebastian Bach, and I had many posters of them (him) on my walls. Well, my brother and cousin always teased me mercilessly about how effeminate-looking they thought he was. One time they even drew a pair of boobs on him-talk about seeing someone go scorched earth-I was completely incensed! Luckily, I did not end up killing them, and now we all laugh about it. 😂 🤘🏼❤️♾️
another great song from the Slave To The Grind album. In my opinion Skid Row's best album. Sebastian Bach was such an incredible singer. Too bad his personality got him sidetracked during his prime.
The important thing here is Sebastian’s cuteness 😂 Of course the who band were very skilled musicians . Unfortunately Sebastian had a personality that rubbed the rest of the guys wrong and he was asked to leave, but yeah a powerful singer
" I bet he still is pretty" - As with most everyone, Sebastian has aged quite a bit over the last 40 years, plus living the rock star life certainly didn't help.
I HAVE SEEN SKID ROW OPEN UP FOR KISS 💋 AT THE NORTH CHARLESTON VENUE IN SOUTH CAROLINA YEARS AGO BUT SABASTIAN BACH WAS NO LONGER WITH THE BAND. BUMMER!!!
Excellent reaction I guess we don’t know what is pretty in the young people’s mind but we know that man is down right gorgeous (no homo) you are girls are to funny later.❤️😎🇺🇸
Wasted Time was written about his friend Steven Adler, the original drummer of Guns and Roses, and his addiction to heroin, hence the horse visual. Quicksand Jesus and In a Darkened Room I think you'd enjoy.
Classic band from the 80s. A decade never to be duplicated.
This song was written about Sebastian bach’s friend Steven Adler the drummer from Guns and Roses and his drug addiction he did get help
Not too many people can touch Sebastian Bach when it comes to vocal ability. He is a very skilled, powerhouse vocalist. Skid Row are an amazing band, with so many great songs.
John Farnham👍👍
Glad you ladies did this one, really shows off Sebastian's vocal abilities!
In a Darkened Room and Quicksand Jesus for more great vocals from Sebastian.
In the darkened room...try it
One of the best songs, ever....
Best song they ever did, one the most memorable sebastian songs of all times♥️
It’s a beautiful song with a very deep meaning. It shows in his vocals. I’ve known people who went downhill from their addiction. Some gave it up, some didn’t. I ALWAYS get teary eyed hearing this song. Thank you very much for doing it!! I am very jealous of his hair, too!!! 🤘🤘🎸🎸❤️
BEAUTIFUL SONG! ♥️
Skid Row - Youth Gone Wild
oh since you all said he's got it after he split from skid row sebastian bach was also a lead in multiple broadway musicals that some broke records and was number 1 for a long time!
"The horse stampedes and rages in the name of desperation", is probably one of the most tragic and powerful lyrics written
Horse being a slang term for heroin, hence the raring white horse,
Geezuz I miss these eras. I was a teen then. Loved my friends, music and era. 😢😢🎉🎉🎉
Time slips by when nobodys looking.
I enjoy listening not only to Skid Row, but also to you girls.
He still tours, makes new music, sounds and looks great. Their song "Slave to the grind" is a good one to do. High energy banger!
Lulu, I think there is something in the water there that get Kathy and Donna, shall we say "excited"🤔😂
Lol
Is a hard and beautiful song!
He's still one of the best 🤘
This is from 1991's "Slave to the Grind" album, the first heavy metal album to debut at #1. Good thing too, Nirvana and the grunge movement was just around the corner to shut the 80's bands down. btw, he was in 13 episodes of Gilmore girls as well as 4 Broadway shows. Not bad eh?
I agree with you was so good till that shitty Nirvana came in and fucked everything for great bands ...
@@chadbattman6677 No it's not, it's from the Slave to the Grind album.
I wouldnt say they shut them down because many of those 80s bands were still charting into late 93, by 95 even the grunge shit was over
Heavy metal? 😂
Kathy I only watch this for your reaction ! Much love from Australia ! PS I've seen all these bands live in OZ , Skid Row especially.

So much wasted time... from 1997 to 2024; the years Skid Row has spent trying to make it without Sebastian Bach on vocals.
